I went to the location at CORA Physical Therapy Lakeland 3127 US Hwy 98 N, Lakeland, FL because I saw all 5 star reviews. I was surprised to find a cluttered therapy area with broken and shabby equipment. I had no hands on from a therapist in the three times I visited, I was directed to ride the stationary bike for 15 minutes and given several other exercises to do with no supervision. I never saw a bench or machine cleaned between users, I asked the man in charge if there was any hands on and he said it came later in the therapy. Most of the staff was friendly but I felt like I was wasting my time there.

This has been the best Physical Therapy experience I have ever had. The staff at this location are very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend trying CORA over other PT providers in Lakeland (including the largest medical group in town who are awful). I have no hesitation in recommending CORA to friends and family.

I been going to the North Lakeland CORA location for a few months. I was apprehensive about switching from Watson Clinic but it turned out to be even better. It’s easy to get in to and I don’t sit in a waiting room. All the staff is friendly and kind. Many times Mickey, Pam, Mary or Eleana would talk to me about how I was feeling then go do a little research and come back with what exercise would really help me to improve. Over the last few months I got the strength back that I had lost after surgery. Now I recommend physical therapy to any one I care about who suffers from pain. You May think specialized exercise would make it worse (like trying a personal trainer did for me because they push you to the point that it hurts) but unlike a trainer...a physical therapist gives you the right amount of an exercise to improve without making the pain worse. This is a REAL review! CORA and their excellent team at the North Lakeland office has improved how I feel everyday. Now I just have to keep it up on my own. Thanks for getting me started guys!

Everyone there is very friendly and always makes me feel welcomed, I mostly work with Pam there, she has really helped me and explains everything to me as we go and answers any questions I have. I was skeptical when Doctor said they were sending me to physical therapy, but I have more mobility with knee and no more cane. Wish I could give 10 stars. Definitely recommend Cora in Lakeland.

The PTs , PTAs and office staff are well trained and caring. They make every effort to help one get better and back to a more productive life. The location is the only thing that is less than great. It is in a shopping center with restaurants and businesses on either side, so close up parking is limited and with only one handicapped space near front door. If one is on a walker, cane or just hurting, it makes it hard to get inside. Other than that, it is highly recommended.

I was referred to CORA by my orthopedic doctor following a knee injury. I had not gotten my MRI done yet, but my doctor wanted me to try and get some flexibility in my knee so that if surgery was required it could be done sooner rather than later. I went for my initial consultation, and the physical therapist there informed me that my doctor had misdiagnosed me and that I didn't have a knee injury, that I had a hamstring strain. He stated that he would have to see the MRI results and be proven wrong, but that until then as far as he was concerned, I didn't have a knee injury. I followed gut instinct and refused to return, and I'm so glad I did. Turns out that I have an ACL rupture as well as an impact fracture. If I had continued to see him, I could have possibly ended up with more damage to my knee than the initial injury caused. I chose CORA to be referred to because of their reviews on here, but my experience was definitely a one-star and also could have caused further injury if I had ignored my gut feelings. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

When I started at Cora I was involved n a car accident an my legs an knees were injured, an I could barely walk with out hurting. Therapy with this group of people was life changing, I.can walk, go up an down stairs, bend my knees all thanks to these therapies, that took they time an worked with me, it was fun at times an some times they were hard in u but the goals for u r good an it pays off. I got to tell you at first I was a bit skeptical, but after those first few appointments I started to get more & more comfortable Shannon and amy are great with setting appointments that fit your schedule. As far as the actual physical therapist they are exceptionally great to work with but I have to point out the fact that pam is outstanding at what she does, she goes above and beyond to ensure that no matter the injury or circumstance she cares and will get you back to proper health in a safe but effective way.

Cora Rehabilitation Center is a very good place to go to rehab for physical therapy. My son had physical therapy to strengthen his muscles and all the therapist that helped him, Lloyd, Alaina, Pam, and Ashari are all very nice and they do very good work. This facility and staff is excellent. I am a healthcare professional and I deal with healthcare facilities across the State on a daily basis. I had to have my leg rehabed for a few weeks and everyone in the office was extremely nice. It felt like a family environment and very welcoming every time I came for my therapy. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They worked around my schedule and were very flexible with the the scheduling of my appointments. I hope I don't get injured again, but if I, or anyone I know needs physical therapy, this is where I will send them.

I've been going to physical therapy here for about 2 months. I've been having a lot of problems with my shoulder popping out of place and even contemplated getting surgery before I came here. Because of CORA, they gave me a pre evaluation and a workout routine Everytime I came in. Because of this, I was able to progressively get my shoulder to move in ways I didn't think we're possible before. The staff and service you receive here is also exceptional. They treat you with the upmost respect. If your thinking of getting physical therapy here, look no further. You won't regret it.

The facility is clean, the internal temperature well-regulated, and there seems to be a great flow of staff and patients moving from apparatus to apparatus with no one waiting their turn (so to speak).A fine hand seems to tune the schedule. My initial visit was very pleasant and informative. I felt I was in a safe place. Every returning visit for physical therapy on my back I felt strengthened. My therapist kept me motivated while in her care. I was encouraged to continue the exercises even after my visits. It was challenging indeed, but necessary to reach the goals. Now I am able to lift, and stand, and bend with more ease than before. The manager and the entire staff were friendly and they felt like family by the conclusion of my sessions.
