I don't usually do reviews but the staff of CORA Physical Therapy deserves to be recognized for the great job they are doing. From the time I walked in I was greeted by the two greatest front desk lady miss Guisella and miss Irene. When you are in pain, you know when you get to this place mentally and physically you will walk out feeling better. I was initially assessed by miss Cindy the first day who answered all my questions and addressed all my issues. Now I am working with Miss Woody, which I couldn't asked for a better Therapist. All though I am still in pain, I know at the end of my treatment plan I will feel a lot better. As a Nurse I look for a therapist who listens and works with me, the way I would treat my patients. All I have to say way to go " CORA" staff . May God continue pouring his blessings upon everyone of you. I know my journey is not easy or over yet but I have faith things will definitely get better. What an experience! The staff at the Haines City location is fabulous. My experience started with a friendly voice on the other end of the phone working with me to schedule my appointments, both Gisselle and Irene are patient and welcoming. My initial assessment was done by Cindy, the manager. She really knows her stuff, explained the nature of my pain points and I left that visit with answers that I didn't have during the first 6 weeks of my injury. Ro, Woody and Jessy are fabulous facilitators of my 3x a week visit for therapy. They are sensitive, knowledgeable and most of all encouraging. I really enjoyed this experience. Haines City Cora is the bomb!!!

After my first knee replacement I couldn't have been in better care. The Physical Therapist as well as the PTA helped me through a very tough time and made me feel good even with the pain. Talk about a dream team! CORA is extremely lucky to have Cindy Knight-Palazzo, PTMSOCS as manager of this clinic. She is well educated, informed and sympathetic to her patients while extracting the best results possible. My orthopedic surgeon is impressed with her reports and results in my own personal situation. This particular CORA clinic also has students come in for apprenticeships where Ms Knight-Palazzo mentors and exposes them to a hands-on vast array of physical therapies for various injuries. These students also pair up with other clinicians within this clinic for the best possible learning experiences. Ms. “Woody” and Mr. “Roe” the other two clinicians are highly experienced and are a pleasure to work with as they instruct the proper exercises and/or movements to achieve your wellness. From the moment one enters the facility, the clerical/secretarial staff of Ms. Guisella and Ms. Irene welcomes the patients and immediately puts one at ease with their delightful personalities as these gals quickly registers you and ensures your appointments are seemingly easy and fun. We all tend to forget that dealing with physician offices and/or medical insurances can be a hair-pulling stressful situation. Guisella & Irene’s telephone skills are highly professional and a pleasure to work with. Those who only speak Spanish need not fear as this team is also bilinqual. Together, as pieces of a puzzle where each piece is very important - this entire team ensures the quality and level of service far surpasses that of others that I personally have been exposed to in the past. While my insurance absolutely refused to extend my physical therapy in spite of my surgeon’s and physical therapist objections, Cindy’s quick thought provoking action offered me to partake in this clinic’s “Physical Fitness” program so I was able to continue therapy as I re-learn to walk and run again. What a fabulous idea that as a patient, it was a comfort NOT to be tossed aside because one’s insurance decides to be asinine and the patient is able to continue on the road to recovery. It is also my observation that while the level of professionalism and expertise for this clinic is truly “off-the-charts”, Corporate is obviously missing a huge opportunity to ensure that CORA remains the leader in this area for physical therapy AND physical fitness by taking a closer look at this particular clinic whose location in Haines City remains in the fast growing heart of medical alley and whose physical locale grants this clinic access to many of the numerous area hospitals. I was initially shaded when I walked in to merely see a few posters, a couple of bikes, one treadmill, and a few gym type machines: no elliptical machines, etc. - and it leaves one to wonder what kind of place this is when hardly any of the newer physical therapy tools are visible and patients must wait to use the machines. As one of many corporate owned facilities and to gain a return on investment it would behoove corporate to ensure that this particular clinic has the latest in physical therapy equipment and machinery and ensure that their customers do not feel as though they are walking in to a dingy, outdated “gym” type facility. This patient severely injured both feet from a fall – suffered through two surgeries with screws, bolts and plate – wheelchair bound for months – and only through the grace of God, my surgeon & CORA I continue to persist in my goals of relearning to walk and run partnering with CORA to accomplish this feat so I can continue to show my dogs!! Having come from “Up North” I am spoiled: we live in the age of digital, LED flashy stuff, and to remain the true leader in your field and from your Clinic Manager, Corporate must provide the tools necessary to ensure your expertise and “face” is visible to the community. Corporate is most fortunate in securing this particular physical therapy clinic team with their own unique expertise.

My daughter came here for physical therapy for a few weeks. Her back is already improving and she left equipped with ideas and strategies to continue strengthening, as well as things she should avoid which would trigger her pain. I wrote my review a year ago and had another surgery since and yes I’m still going to Cora. The faces may have changed a bit but the tremendous service is still going on , that in itself says a lot about the kind of team Miss Cindy puts together at her facility. Irene and Guisella still guiding the ship with there smiles and warm welcomes. Jess is now kicking my but in gear and keeping the muscles in shape and moving like they are supposed to. It’s great to go and know you are getting the most up to date programs and stretches and Jess has some pretty unique ones I must say. Roe and Woody jump in at times to keep things moving along also. So I thank you all again for being such a great team and a very nice place to go for usually an unpleasant event !! So I moved down to Florida after Back Surgery and needed to find a Physical Therapist that was going to be as good or better than my Therapy center in NY and to add a twist they had to take workers compensation. I really thought I was in trouble UNTIL I was referred to Cora Rehabilitation in Haines City. I first had the pleasure of speaking to Miss Irene , who I must say is absolutely awesome. She took control of my situation and worked everything out within a week. If you know anything about NY workers compensation you know this was a unbelievable feat. I started my sessions with a extremely thorough assessment by Miss Cindy , which at that point I already knew I was in good hands. I now am in the hands of Mr Brooks who is making therapy a place where I'm not just going to stretch or roll on a ball or walk a treadmill and be forgotten , Mr Brooks takes time to explain every movement, every excercise and he continues to assess you as the session goes on. Can't say enough about Mr Brooks. Needless to say Cora Rehabilitation is the place for me and I would Most Definitely be sending family and friends to this group here in Haines City. I also must add , when you roll out of bed at 7am to go stretch muscles that don't want to be stretched it's a miserable ride to therapy but once you open the door and are greeted by the always smiling always upbeat Guisella your ready for anything. I had to have total knee replacement surgery. I went to CORA in Haines City for both Pre-Surgery and Post Surgery Physical Therapy. The staff is Amazing! Gissella and Irene at the front desk are always smiling and super helpful. They like to laugh and have fun at work. It’s obvious that they love working there, and that is a refreshing thing to see. The Physical Therapist are also Wonderful! Woody, Cindy and Ro, are truly dedicated to helping people get the most out of their sessions. They are very encouraging, From a simple “You can do it!” To an excited high five at the end of a challenging exercise. The care and compassion they show is above and beyond what my expectations were! I will be going here for any and all future physical therapy needs.

I tried another physical therapy location, (not CORA), and the experience was terrible. When I called them I was told that they could give me no information over the phone and that I would need to come. So I went in and the place was very chaotic. The front desk person informed me that it may take a week or longer to get me approved for therapy. I informed her that my doctor wants me to begin right away. I was told they are sorry, but there is nothing they can do. SoI left. Then I called your location in Haines City. I spoke to Irene and this lady is fantastic. She was polite and knowledgable. Irene took all of my information, got approval right away and scheduled me for an appointment two days later. When I arrived for my appointment, I met the other front desk person, (Gisella). She explained my co-pay, and I questioned the amount, but Gisella gave me all the details of my insurance and explained it to me satisfactory. Both ladies were great at making me feel comfortable, informed and put me at ease. This was one wonderful experience. Please tell Irene and Gisella how grateful that I am and both are a big asset to CORA. Now I need to brag about another employee. Cindy, one of your Therapists. I did not know what to expect for treatment or how stressful it may be. Cindy, from day 1 put me at ease right away. She explained the whole procedure, did not leave out any questions when attaining information, and as the therapy proceeded, she explained every step of the way. What the machines were for and how it would help in my therapy. Also explained every exercise and what effect it would have on me. To tell the truth, Cindy was so good, it makes a person want to hurt themselves just to get her to treat them, (that is a joke, but she is just that good). I do always ask for her at treatment time. First appointment went well,,,that was a Monday, returned on Friday and when I left I could just about move I hurt so much. The entire weekend as lived on Tramadol which really did nothing. Think we really overdid the stretching..Returned today 4/23/18 and felt better afterwards Brooke took it a little easier on me. Return 4/26 and hope it goes easier.

I had a total knee replacement and my surgeon suggested I go to CORA for my physical therapy. I am so glad he recommended CORA. The therapist named Cindy is extremely professional and really cares about her patients. I also had interaction with 'Woody' who is a PTA. She also is very professional and is fun to be with. She explains all the exercises very well and what they are for. She pushes you to your limit and then backs off. Very happy with her as well. I feel like they did wonders for my knee.
