Over two months ago I had a problem with my left leg. I lost all the strength in my muscles and the leg did not hold me at all. My family doctor gave me different places to go for physical therapy. I chose Coconut Creek Physical Therapy on Lyons Rd. I can not recommend enough this therapy center. It is the best thing that happened to me. The first visit Todd James did a very thorough examination of my legs and my problem. He explained everything to me and the plan to follow. That same day I started my exercises. Today I am able to use my leg, and I feel safe to walk even without the cane. I can not believe how fast I have recovered. All the people that work at Coconut Creek Physical Therapy Center are excellent therapists, very professional, very caring and gentle. I felt that I had special treatment, but over time I realized that every patient is special. I am very grateful to the staff, I felt I should write my experience here in this center. I worked with Todd after a discectomy. Even though he is not really friendly his knowledge in Physiotherapy is recommendable and he is professional - that was the most important to me after spine surgery! After 5 sessions with him the numbness of my calf and heel was gone. I was perfectly healthy and thankful. Then Todd went on vacation and I agreed to book 2 Physio sessions with another Physiotherapist in his business. After her Friday session with me my leg went numb again, calf completely emotionless, heel tingeling and numb. The whole leg hurt inside - as it was before my spine surgery. I left a message on the business answering machine asking Todd to immediately call me , when back from vacation and that I would be in at 12 o'clock following business day. Nobody called. I came in at 12 on Monday and Todd told me that he would be busy but we could talk. After I told him about my scary situation - after I was already back to normal - and complaining about the other physiotherapist (I was yelling in pain when she touched the sciatic nerv with the electric current device that Friday before) Todd closed the door and let me know in an unbelievable angry way that " everybody who would work in his place would be as competent as he would be - I would not have any right to complain about her knowledge". I was speechless: from having been painfree and healed to having no leg and strong nerv pain after her treatment and I am NOT ALLOWED to complain? Being let down like this is completely unprofessional! Till today (10 days later) my foot is is still tingeling, nerv pain still there in the night time. My German Physiotherapist gave me the explanation what happened to me in her treatment and what to do - I am working my way slowly back with the help of my German Physio through Skype. Till today Tood never told me what really happened to my back, my leg and foot when she treated me. I got all necessary information from my German Therapist: she used the electric current device in a spot where she should NOT have used any current at all. The damage will take a while to heal again. And that after I was already painfree and well!

I used Coconut Creek Therapy a couple of years ago and just got a request too write a review. They did a very good job and treated the patients very nicely. They were very confused at the time about what insurance they were in network for, which I could not handle. In fact they were out of network for my insurance but thought they were in network. Their solution was NOT to charge the potentially large copayment, the right thing to, in my opinion. I simply could not deal with the uncertainty though. IF they have corrected what may well have been growing pains, I would give them a strong recommendation, but do discuss insurance before starting.

I had a bad case of plantar fascitis. (that's not how you spell it and I don't care.) They made the pain go away for a VERY reasonable price. And many months later my shoulder was hurting me and again they worked their magic and fixed me. Go here if you need help. They are awesome.

The therapists at Coconut Creek Therapy (CCT) are experienced and knowledgeable in what they do. They use a holistic approach to assess and treat their patients. Unlike other clinics, they look for the source of the pain and underlying issue instead of just patching it up. The staff care about the patients progress and want to see them get back to living their best. The therapists use a variety of modalities (Deep Tissue Laser Therapy, Paraffin Wax, Microcurrent Point Stimulation) in addition to the basic physical therapy foundational knowledge/concepts. If you want to see an improvement in your quality of life, I would recommend booking a Discovery Visit with Todd and to give them a try. And don’t forget about the bonus: Sophie, The Certified Therapy Dog!

I had a weak lower back that was always giving me pain and discomfort. The goal was to get PT to strengthen my muscles to avoid problems with sciatica, etc. All I can say is that the professional and concerned care and direction I received from Michelle was first class. This therapist is seasoned and was 100% interested in achieving my goal. I am so very pleased with her care. My back no longer suffers and I am able to do tasks that created so much pain in the past. I feel strong and confident. The staff and owner at Coconut Creek PT are all very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this organization.

Unfortunately, the main therapist here is very off putting and rude. They treated a friend of mine and while the other staff was nice, the main owner who I think his name is Todd (not sure because he "evaluated" her for five seconds then pushed her off to someone else) was standoffish and not nice just like the previous reviewer Conny mentioned. I would Take my business elsewhere, the good reviews are for the other staff and he kept asking my friend to do a review which shows they're not genuine reviews. He doesn't seem to treat his employees well, he barks at them in front of patients and doesnt even greet the patients on a consistent basis. Once while treating a patient, he left her to do exercises and walked outside to take his dog out to potty...........I couldn't believe it. Physical therapy should be hands on, I'd take my service elsewhere

So glad I chose Coconut Creek Physical Therapy for my rehab. I had been having hip and upper leg pain for months and it was progressing to point where I couldn't even do my daily activities. No matter what or how hard I tried, it only made things worse. Todd saw me for my initial evaluation and promptly gave me safe stretching and strengthening exercises to do both at his clinic and at home. I started making progress immediately and feel very hopeful that I will continue to move better and fell better! The office staff are friendly and accommodating and the P.T. assistants are very kind and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Coconut Creek Physical Therapy. I only wish I went sooner!

The employees are not only kind and professional, but they provided such a personalized experience and made us feel so comfortable from the moment we walked in until we left. Their staff and therapists are extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a thorough and thoughtful evaluation, therapy and explanation throughout the whole session. This is my happy place. I have improved 100% since they have been treating me. Todd is the head Physical Therapist who evaluates and gets you on the right road. My PT, Valdez, is skilled and compassionate. He always takes the time and goes the extra mile for me. Erica and Donna at the front desk are rays of sunshine who handle all the insurance and scheduling with no stress to you what so ever.
