This is my third time in 4 years that I had a need for therapy. All were for different issues and resolved within the prescribed time frame. I continued to use the facility for water aerobics. All the therapists are competant, friendly, encouraging, and continue learning new types of therapy. I also like their new patient website where your home program is posted with instructions and videos. You also may contact your therapists from the website. I highly recommend Aquacare!

The physical therapy I'm receiving from James Alvarez del Castillo at Aqua Care (off of Rt. 24) has been exceptional. My leg was immobilized for 4 weeks , I couldn't put weight on it and I was hoping around on crutches. I'm in my 2nd week of PT (twice a week) and have already made great progress in strengthening my injured leg and stretching my knee so I can bend it. I am now putting some weight on the bad leg and hope to get out of the immobilizer for good this week.

I have just finished with my physical therapy which was for my hip replacement. All the staff at Millsboro was great. My main therapist, Connor, set up an exercise program designed specifically for my recovery. This along with my home exercises resulted in a timely healing. Now I can get around like a normal person. Thank you to all the great staff at the Millsboro location. Everyone from the front desk to the therapists were great. I liked the way they reacted to any needs and they did not leave you while doing therapy. I would highly recommend this place if you are in need of physical therapy.

A left knee that required surgery, then physical therapy after a ski trip! A friend referred Aquacare and more specifically referred Carson Wigley-Bunting from Aquacare to have a look at my knee post surgery. Although my local surgeon recommended someone else, my request for going to Aquacare was granted and what an amazing expierience ensued. After having been active in racquetball nationally and skiing in Wyoming, I was fearful that getting back to true form and in the same capacity, was not an option. Carson Wigley Bunting took charge of my care, Rob Gordy managed my pain through massage and exercise. Kelly and all the staff at Aquacare on Milford Street took a genuine interest in wanting to return me to “pre incident form” and that was accomplished with the utmost of care . The “hands on” awareness and custom care daily of general and specific conditions pertaining to my knee for the next 8 weeks were superbly addressed and the protocol to wellness by Carson was stellar. I have recently signed up for a raquetball tournament and am booking my next ski winter trip thanks to the excellent rehabilitation received at Aquacare. Joerg Leinemann

Christy Saunders was my physical therapist. She was friendly, professional showed empathy to my condition which is chronic nerve pain caused by a boating accident. She tried different techniques, different exercises and massages but my pain did not decrease. No fault to Christy, the nerve damage is so far gone. I would recommend Aquacare physical therapy. I have been going to Aquacare for PT after having a knee replacement. The therapists have done a great job helping me get back mobility, strength and balance. I have worked mostly with Jimmy, who challenges and pushes me while being supportive and encouraging, but all of the therapists are very competent, friendly and caring. My husband used Aquacare when he had plantar fasciitis and also for neck issues and he was very pleased with his treatment and had recommended Aquacare to me. I highly recommend them also.

I was a recent patient of Kelly Fortner at Aquacare, Millsboro Office. My Urologist recommended PT for my bladder as I believe medicine is not the ideal long-term remedy for me. When we first met, Kelly and I went over an evaluation based on the information I provided and the specific PT care plan she designed for me. She also gave me some handouts to include how diet can affect this condition and a home program to incorporate in my daily life. From the outset, I found Kelly’s bedside manner to be warm and approachable. Her knowledge of the subject matter was quite refreshing also. She educated me concerning the muscles of the pelvic floor and gave me specific exercises, including Kegels, to help me build strength and endurance. She walked me through every exercise including stressing the importance of incorporating diaphragmatic breathing. By the time Kelly discharged me from treatment, I was already experiencing a remarkable improvement especially in widening the intervals between bathroom trips. Kelly’s approach to educating and training the patient is very effective. Her patience, knowledge and the manner in which she explained every exercise technique shows her level of commitment to the patient and her profession. She really listens to your needs. Through Kelly I learned that the bladder is a trainable muscle. Kelly is the best! I’d like to add that the Aquacare staff in Millsboro is friendly and courteous.
