Where to start. As you walk in, you are welcomed by the front desk staff. After a few visits, the staff at the front desk knew me by my first name. This made me feel at home. I met the owner, Maureen who was also very nice and would check in with me regarding my progress. My PT Kristin was extremely knowledgeable in her job. This helped me through some real tough times with my injuries. I started with limited mobility in my knee and left running 5 plus miles. Previous experiences at other PT places never showed similar results. The staff at Sports Training care more about how you feel each day instead of thinking about your injury and throwing you on the bike for 15 minutes. Based on the history of my knee, unfortunately I will need PT again in the future. I will without a doubt return to Sports Training! Thank you for a great experience.

About 8 years ago, I fell on a hard concrete floor and by process os elimination - I injured my nerve endings giving me arthritis. Had a wonderful experience & they got me back to exercising. So much so - that my husband - who is a “i’ll Never have knee replacement surgery” kind of guy (I don’t blame him) has started physical therapy there an he also having a wonderful experience. I've been a patient at the STPT, Millburn location, for many years. Unfortunately, I am the product of severe aerobic/weight lifting/exercise related injuries that cause extreme pain and prevent me from doing daily activities. After many Orthopedist visits and MRI's, Sports Training Physical Therapy was recommended to me by a patient in the dental office I work in, so I gave it a try. At that point I would try anything to prevent having surgery! If needed again in the future, I can say with certainty that I would never go anywhere else for physical therapy! The facility is immaculate, and has the most up-to-date treatment mechanisms. The front desk staff is extremely accommodating with making appointments, they know every patient by name so you feel like a person and not a case, and you are always welcomed with a smile. Most importantly, the therapists' and staff are second to none! Not only are they extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled, they are sensitive and supportive. Post-surgery or injuries in general tend to affect people emotionally as well as physically. They truly care about each and every patient that walks through their doors as if they were family! The staff all work together to ensure all patients' are given the best possible attention to promote healing and comfort.... with the common goal of improving patient wellness. For the past (3) months, I've had Katherine Post as my therapist for a neck/shoulder injury and tear. Although the deep tissue therapy is extremely intense, I've come a long way since I first started with her. With the added exercises, my range of motion has increased and my pain is not as severe or constant. I still have a long way to go but with her help, I can function somewhat normally and probably won't need surgery! The owner, Maureen Wilhelm, is also very involved with patients' progress and offers support whenever possible. That's an added bonus! I would recommend any therapist as they are all equally trained and experienced. Thank you Sports Training Physical Therapy for helping me through yet another impairment!

I've been going for 10 weeks since shoulder surgery but have many other neck/back/joint issues from Lyme Disease. They've been great for the post-op shoulder stuff but have also given advice and helped with other aches/pains. The appts are 20 mins of hands-on time and then whatever time you take to do exercises and ice or heat. Even if your actual therapist is with another patient there's plenty of others around to ask questions and/or make sure you're using proper form etc.

My experience with PPT Mamaroneck was soured when I received a surprise bill from them. After speaking with billing I learned that they applied “cancellation fees” for $25 twice ($50) when I changed my appointment in July- the receptionist never said I would be billed when I changed my appointments at the time. Billing said it was in the contract that I signed and the receptionist didn’t need to warn me of getting billed. I’m really surprised of getting a random $50 bill 3 months after the fact. I dont think it was fair of them and it sounded like billing wasn’t going to reverse the bill.

I have just finished physical therapy at Professional Physical Therapy in Tyngsboro and would like to give a five star rating to Joel Leclerc! He helped me so much that I nicknamed him Joel the Miracle Worker! I initially came in for low back pain which is totally gone now. I also had complained of walking with a limp for many years, not knowing why. He figured out why and worked on specific areas to remedy the longstanding problem. Before I started PT I could only walk half of the mall before needing to sit down and rest. Now I can go the length and back again with no problem. He worked with me to strengthen areas of my body that needed strengthening. I feel 10 years younger! On an interpersonal level he is kind, empathic, patient, engaging and professional. And funny! I cannot recommend Joel and Tyngsboro Professional Physical Therapy highly enough.

I started PT for bicep tendonitis that developed 3 years ago after my building a retaining wall. I had pain whenever using my biceps. Although I was skeptical wrt how much PT would help, I came in with an open mind. Joel and Ian worked with me for 2 months to strengthen all upper-body muscles to alleviate stress on the biceps. Had Knee surgery in July and worked with Lola at Premier. I had a great experience. I know myself and I definitely would have stopped and tried to do it all on my own after a few weeks. But since Lola made the sessions so much fun and she had such great knowledge I felt I was getting something out of every visit. In need of PT? This is the place to come. Convenient appointment times, staff is outstanding. On the initial consult the therapist spent the appointment time learning of my issues, goals and objectives. Therapist are all high energy and motivating. They challenge you to work but not overdo; each appointment is cumulative,an exercise or 2 is added to the routine. The facility is clean and tidy. I started at ProEx pre-op and intend to be there again for my post-op PT. I would highly recommend ProEx.
