I have had such a great experience at Gaylord Physical Therapy in Cheshire. I am nine weeks post knee replacement surgery and have made great progress with Eric Sokolowski's wonderful help and guidance. He has listened to all of my concerns and always adjusts my workouts when necessary to either address pain I might have had or to help me push myself harder. I would highly recommend Gaylord Physical Therapy!

I cannot speak more highly of the therapists and staff at this clinic! I had the opportunity to fulfill my clinical internship here under the mentorship of Phil Silverio. Phil, as well as all of the Physical Therapists at Gaylord, demonstrate great passion for the profession and are dedicated to providing the upmost quality of care to all patients. These therapists take the time to get to know their patients and are committed to their success. The therapists are well versed in a variety of manual therapy techniques and attend continuing education conferences regularly to further their knowledge. I am very fortunate to have been placed at this clinic and could not have asked for a better group of therapists to learn from, they truly are top-notch.

This is my second experience working on injury recoveries at this facility. Both experiences have been positive. Everyone on the staff are excellent PT's and have provided me with the care I needed to get back to my normal strength and movement. I have seen many physical therapists and been to many different physical therapy facilities. Gaylord is the first to really go above and beyond for me to try to find the root of the injury and work on restoring me, where other therapists have fallen short. I've been seeing Eric for back, neck, and shoulder discomfort following a motor vehicle accident, and he has worked really hard to alleviate that discomfort, as well as address some chronic pain that was exaserbated by this recent accident. He has been working on "peeling back the layers" of my complicated injuries. He's very patient and seems to know exactly why there's discomfort and how to alleviate it. For once I feel as if I'm making progress and I have hope for much less pain in my future, which is refreshing for once! And the fact that their team puts up with my very curious toddler during my visits is added bonus! Thank you!!

I am happy to have found Gaylord Physical Therapy and to have worked with Phil. They helped me recover from a pulled IT Band. The injury has had me side lined for almost a year and through their guidance I was able to hike a LOT this summer and I am on track to get back into running this spring. Best PT I have ever worked with! Eric S. helped me get back to powerlifting after I hurt my back. He is knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He will make sure to really understand the pain you are experiencing and prescribe the necessary treatment and exercises necessary to stop the pain. All the staff members are also very friendly!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience as a patient at Gaylord Physical Therapy in Cheshire Connecticut. When I was first referred to the center just over a year ago I couldn’t even take a single step without a walker. I had severe nerve damage resulting from injuries and multiple surgeries, and my doctors were unsure if I would ever even be able to walk again. With the help of my therapist Eric Sokolowski I am now able to walk independently, run short distances, and perform daily activities without any assistive devices. I am forever grateful for their help in returning my mobility and giving me my life back. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for expert physical rehabilitation. Their treatment plans worked wonders for me, and the staff works hard to tailor their programs to meet any individual’s personal needs.

Gaylords mission to help patients with medical issues that requires PT treatment is great.The front desk staff and my assigned rehab professional Kim Levesque keep me informed when my appointments are via texts, along with Kim's PT rehab knowledge and take home information to continue my PT treatment. I have been a patient at Gaylord Physical Therapy Orthopedics and Sports Medicine for some time now. Last year I suffered a back injury. A simple task, such as walking, was even difficult for me. The offer of surgery was on the table, but not something I was interested in. I decided to go to Physical Therapy instead. From the moment I limped into Cheshire the staff was amazing. My PT is Phil Silverio. He worked with me in pain relief, rehabbing, strengthening, conditioning and encouragement. He has gone out of his way many times to work around my schedule for appointments. To this day he continues to work with me. Helping me with flare-ups and continued conditioning in order to prevent me from having to experience re-injury. He has tailored custom conditioning and strengthening exercises to what my body needs in order to complete a goal. Because of Phil, I have been able to maintain working, I am about to graduate from Firefighting school, and most importantly I am able to enjoy and play with my grandchildren. All of the staff at Gaylord Cheshire are amazing professional. I can not thank them enough for all that they do. Thank you Phil. June-Bug

I would rate them 6 stars if i could! The staff here is super friendly and make it known that your recovery is their #1 priority. I started going here because of ongoing back pain from a disk injury. I first started seeing Eric Lagoy and he helped me out tremendously. I later switched over to Eric Sokolowski because my schedule changed. Eric Sokolowski has truly gone above and beyond to help me out and get me where i want to be. He's made me feel like im actually a friend he is trying to help intead of just some random patient. Thanks to him and Eric L. i have made a huge recovery and have started doing activities i had previously lost confidence in doing. I will always be thankful for the staff here at Gaylord Physical Therapy in Cheshire and encourage everyone who needs physical treatment to check this place out!

At this location the physical therapy sessions are comprehensive and target your specific problem areas. The therapists are real professionals who not only coach to the next level but advise on exploring related medical options. Five stars for a great facility and a great team of therapists.
