We offer you the opinions of real people who are consuming the services and products of Burke Rehabilitation Hospital (Physiotherapist) in the state of Connecticut.
At present the business receives a rating of 4.4 stars over 5 and the score has been calculated on 66 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is really good, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can be quite sure that the valuation is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put evaluations when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Physiotherapist is classified in the category of Rehabilitation center.

beautifully crafted environment. need to see it for yourself.
Lovely place
I just had a total knee replacement and was told to go to Burke. Best decision ever. I have been to four star hotels that have not treated me as well as I was treated at Burke. I stayed in 1North. I consider myself possibly the worst patient any doctor can have. I hate people waking me up and I barked at every nurse that came into my room for anything. They remained so pleasant it was crazy and it was a genuine pleasant not a false face. One the night I arrived I had a panic attack and Frank got a woman named Loretta Woods to sit with me all night to put me at ease by just letting me know that I was going to be fine. Nurse Grace was very nice but stern. When you needed anything she made it happen. Lori-Anne (probably not spelled correctly), Daisey, Zaneth and all of the nurses in 1North were perfect. The therapist were equally perfect. Grace, Danielle, Jason, Jessica are not letting you leave until you are ready. Special thanks to Grace. She made me feel like family. I will actually miss my rehab center. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH Although I will not I feel like I can run right now.
They are great with their patients.
It's almost impossible to get an appointment. They don't answer the phone and don't return phone calls. I finally faxed information in and received a call back saying it would take 3-6 weeks to schedule therapy. About a month later, they called to say there was a problem with my insurance and given this, they had not begun the scheduling process (the problem was with Burke, but their representative told me I had to solve it; she wouldn’t do anything more). Really unbelievable. Particularly frustrating now that their ads pop up on my computer daily.
Staffing is lousy!!! They need to hire more people
Burke therapy was very good and they were organized.there appointments were on time and they work hard to achieve your goals. My therapist was Jenncy and she was excellent and professional, and worked with me so i could go back to work the time my job gave me to come back.I highly recommend Burke who ever needs therapy
The best place in the country I left Burke last December and missed Burke so much
Love it
Best rehabilitation, research for wellness, total health package.
I'm doing my second stint at Burke Rehabilitation and I highly recommend this place. The staff is very attentive and skilled. The therapist, both physical and occupational are thorough and effective. Even the food is quite good for a place that serves a diversified clientele. The nurses and auxiliary staff are knowledgeable and cheerful.
Excellent treatment and the food’s not bad either An outstanding facility
Burke rehab is a wonderful place, they took care of me, a 16yr old kid when I couldn't take care of myself. The food is excellent and the service is amazing as well. The nurses all took care of me like I was their baby boy. I've heard some bad reviews of the night nurses but I honestly don't remember much of my time there, so I doubt it has any actual impact on the facility.
The aides are fantastic and the rehab is excrptiobsl
37 YEARS AGO MY FATHER HAD A STROKE, WE WERE TOLD BY HIS NEUROLOGIST HE WOULD NEVER WALK AGAIN.AT BURKE HE LEARNED TO WALK (WITH A CANE).APPROXIMATELY 10 YEARS LATER MY MOTHER WAS SENT TO BURKE AFTER TRIPLE BY PASS SURGERY. SHE WAS ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF MY FATHER AND HERSELF AFTER REHAB AT BURKE, tHIS SEPTEMBER I HAD SPINAL SURGERY AND WENT TO BURKE FOR REHAB. I AM HAPPY TO SAY THAT THIS CENTER HAS MAINTAINED ITS EXCELLENCE THROUGH OUT THE YEARS. THE ATTITUDE OF EVERY PERSON IS POSITIVE AND UPLIFTING.THERAPY AND THERAPISTS WERE EXCELLENT. I RECOMMEND THIS CENTER HIGHLY,
Awesome staff...
The staffing is poor!!!!!
They are too busy and seemed annoyed if you are a new patient and want an appointment. Almost impossible to get a person on the phone. You are instructed by a recording to fax your prescription. I did so three days ago. Finally got a call at this morning but that was only to get a more info from me. I was informed that since I had surgery I would be treated on an expedited basis. Was also told that I would be called back shortly, it is now 6 hours later and still no call. I just called and an annoyed person responded that she has no record of my fax and/or prescription . She advised that I need to be patient and unless I gave her the name of the person who called me she could not help me. I had two fractures in my ankle with hardware inserted and my foot is double in size, not that easy to be patient. I just hung up in disgust with no appointment. It should not take over 3 day just to make a future appointment. The recording should just say they are booked up until a certain date and stop wasting people's time who are injured and need help . I then found another facility with very warm and nice people in Rye NY. One phone call and I have an appointment tomorrow after work and was given instructions on how to care for my ankle in the interim.
10 stars, like a palatial hotel, magnificent staff and administration, I want to buy a room here
My sister was a patient in February 2014 for rehab. She is recovering from heart bi-pass operation and a stroke. The stroke left her almost blind in her left eye and she had problems with her right eye even before she went to Burke. We asked the doctors and social worker before her rehabilitation started to evaluate her vision and subsequent rehabilitation.problems which would have certainly helped their understanding of her true condition The therapy personal people did their work well as they could not knowing her almost blind condition and helped her ambulatory condition improve. Most everybody else in the facility did a fine job. What I found disturbing was the habit of the coronary rehab. area's habit of circling many of its patients around their nurse's station for hours in their wheel chairs just steering and being bored. Some needed to be feed but after that would still remain looking at nothing but the nursing station instead of resting in their bed to watch TV or answering their telephone calls from their love ones.
One of the best
Day and night are a mixed bag experience, rehab is top notch while few issues but the worst, *got mom a new jacket never worn with tag placed it in her room drawer and came back to find it it was gone Mom had skin ripped due to over aggressive washing by staff, she tried to hide it from us (kids) to avoid issues with staff Last not sure how to address without upsetting staff they leave her for 25-45 mins in her waste when she calls for bathroom
Excellent place for rehabilitacion
The best place for rehabilitation.

Thanks to all the staff
This review comes very late....My Dad was a patient at Burke. He suffered from pulmonary disease, COPD and Emphysima. Burke saw that he still had a will to fight for his Wife of nearly 50 years, his 5 children, and 11 grandchildren. They provided daddy with the comfort and push he needed at the time. Old-school raised, he surprised us all, and even himself, when during a visit, he announced that he was taking a meditation class and had to cut the visit short. Burke's entire team worked cohesively to insure that my dad felt cared-for and supported him during the various stages of acceptance. And when the science simply wasn't there anymore, they supported his decision to live out his final days his way. Daddy passed away knowing that the medical staff provided him with every chance to enjoy a full life until his time here was finished. Thank you to all at Burke!
Easy navigatetion
Absolutely the best place for rehabilitation!
BURKE is a great place to send loved ones for treatment. The therapists for physical, occupational & speech therapies are awesome! They did a fantastic job treating my husband after his stroke. The neurologists are thorough, the nurses are kind & the social worker for my husband's unit was compassionate & readily available. My husband said the food was great & he is finicky. The facility is very clean & well staffed. They even have a center for visitors & loved ones to relax, meditate in tranquility rooms, grab a snack or have a cup of coffe/tea or bottled water. The grounds are gorgeous. My husband has vastly improved & is transitioning well back home. If you are researching treatment centers & you're reading this....CHOOSE BURKE. The rehab is intense & you have to be willing to put in the effort to get well but the payoff is awesome.
My mother has been a patient at Burke’s for over five weeks now. I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. Everyone I met here is kind, patient, knowledgeable in their field, caring and compassionate. The doctors are fantastic. The entire hospital is immaculately clean. Security made me feel my mother was always safe. The nurses are attentive and available. Aides are willing to help out whenever asked. Physical, occupational and speech therapists are all hard working people, dedicated to their patients. My mother has made tremendous improvement following a debilitating stroke. The social worker who handled her case was most helpful and cooperative in arranging for all her needs, as well as her discharge. I hope and pray no one else in my family ever again needs to be in any rehab facility, but I would not hesitate to call on them if I needed to. Can’t thank them enough for all their help, support and LOVE!
Everyone smiles , And greets you.Everone is positive. All good energy
My convalescence at BURKE was a truly unique and wonderful experience. I sing its praises always....for the dedicated staff, the fantastic precision of the entire operation and the very tasty food. I have only fond memories of my stay at Burke and am grateful for having had the opportunity to be an inpatient.
The team at Burke were very knowledgeable and helped my dad improve greatly. Carol, my dad's social worker/ case manager was a great help in keeping me up to date with my dad's progress and medicaid issues. She was empathetic, always followed up, and went the extra mile in trying to give my dad the care he needed. I appreciate everything Burke Rehab has done for my dad.
The staff seems like they don’t want to work. A little dirty
