I had a mixed experience with my physical therapy at Next Level. On the one hand, you work with a physical therapist the whole session, while other therapists might have you working with an aid the whole time. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and they utilized state-of-the-art methods in their therapy.
On the other hand, I had several major issues with my experience here. After a mix-up on my insurance's side, they accidentally denied my claims. Without my permission, Next Level billed a previous insurance of mine. When that company (obviously) denied my claim, I was sent a bill for a lot of money. The whole thing was resolved with a call to my insurance company, but Next Level should have contacted me instead of attempting to bill a different insurance company. There were several occasions where I was burned with a heating pad at therapy, and on newly-formed surgery scar tissue, that was an issue. Lastly, when I started therapy I was told that 4 months was a good goal for recovery. After 4 months, I was told that they wouldn't clear me because my good arm was now too weak and required physical therapy, and that my sport was too much of a contact sport for me to be cleared at 4 months anyway. By a "good goal" they just meant capability wise, not that they would actually clear me. That was heartbreaking to hear when I had worked so hard the last four months to be back in my sport.
Luckily, my surgeon was willing to do research on my sport instead of making assumptions, and he agreed that there was a lot I could do going back into my sport. Two years later and I'm feeling great.
