Hi my name is Deneen, I'm 52 and I feel like I've experienced a miracle! In 2011 I was injured in a freak accident to my cervical while standing in a store (I was hit in the back of the neck with a large box carrying a chair). I saw stars and felt much pain! I ended up in the ER and from there I was told I needed cervical surgery, even after a second opinion. There I was; going under the knife, something I've never had to do, besides a c-section. I'm a healthy person, having experience little to no physical pain in my life. I was told I would be back to normal within a year. My life and body has struggled every day since the injury/surgery... My license plate reads "4Health", because this is what I believe in! My university studies was in Health Science; I have a nutrition business; and I was running 8 miles before the accident. Though I have been in and out of hospitals for my injury/post surgery pain, as well as several physical therapists, I received minimal relief. Fear gripped by heart that if I tried running or exercising again I would injure something. I tried, but didn't get very far at all! I couldn't even look up to see a bird flying above without pain, nor could I turn my head left or right enough to see behind me while driving. This resulted in very little mobility. I became depressed, and very desperate for a better quality of life! So after five and a half years, I began research to find a therapist that understood my needs. I found Associates Physical Therapy online! After reading through their website, I booked an appointment. The onset of the first visit, I was taken into a private room for a consultation, I was impressed immediately. I finally felt like someone was listening (thanks Nathan)! The other therapists, Chad and Mary were all so understanding, knowledgeable and personable. Even the intern, Nick, was very professional and compassionate. And I was always greeted by very delightful front desk staff! The progress was rapid! I cried after being able to look up for the first time since surgery. Even though there was pain, there was no fear. The pain gradually reduced in each visit! Nathan knew how bad I wanted to run again, so he encouraged me to practice on the in-clinic treadmill as he and Nick monitored me. I'm am so grateful to Nathan and for Associates Physical Therapy for believing in me and my recovery! I feel equipped and back in control of my life! I;m getting a better night's sleep without waking up to excruciating pain in my neck and arms! I feel like a brand new woman! And I look forward to running a 5K again!

I was involved in a head on car accident and experienced lower back pain and right shoulder pain as a result of the accident. My PCP referred me over to Associates Physical Therapy and i am so glad he did. My therapist (Mary) was super kind and she really knows her stuff. Sent me home to do my exercises to help ease the back and shoulder pain and they worked! If i could give more than 5 stars on here I would......they are a 10 star facility!!!! Everyone from the young ladies at the front desk to all of the therapists there were super friendly and very kind. I would definitely recommend and go back myself if i end up needing additional help. Before coming to associates physical therapy I had reoccurring back pain that would often bring my life to a halt. I continuously seemed to “pull” or “sprain” a muscle in my lower back, sometimes by performing even the simplest of tasks. I figured that someone my age should not be experiencing these problems so I ignored the signs and always tried to “push through it”. Finally one day I had reached a new level of pain and I knew that without experienced treatment things would only get worse. From the first phone call, to the last visit, I was always welcomed with a smile and a genuine desire to aid in my recovery. Nathan used several different exercises and techniques to help strengthen and restore flexibility to my lower back. Within the first few visits I could already see improvement and my lingering pain began to subside. I am very satisfied with the treatment I received and would recommend them to anyone who struggles with irritating back issues.

If only I could give 100 stars.... I found Associates Physical Therapy after attending numerous sessions at a different practice with no improvement in my low back pain. Nathan and Chad were extremely patient with me as I attempted to explain the pain and catching feeling I had been experiencing in my low back for over a year. Both were empathetic and genuinely interested in finding a solution. They provided me with 1 (yes, only 1) exercise/movement to do outside of my appointments. With this exercise and some minor adjustments to my posture, I am pain free (and "catch free") over a year later! The practice also offered early morning and early evening appointments to accommodate my work schedule.

I was recently treated by Associates Physical Therapy for lower back pain that was severe enough to effect my quality of life. I was not able to lie down, sit, or stand comfortably, and anything outside of a narrow range of motion caused excruciating pain. From my first visit, the people at Associates made me feel welcome. The course of action to alleviate my symptoms and heal my back was elusive at first, but the therapist who worked with me, Nathan, was unfazed. He continued to investigate different avenues toward recovery with me until we found the right one. By the third or fourth visit, we were on track, and I was improving. Over the course of two months, the range of activities I could participate in returned to where they had been before my injury, and the pain disappeared. Nathan and the staff at Associates helped to get me back into good health, starting from what seemed to be a long distance when we started. I highly recommend Associates Physical Therapy.

I went here after a car accident that I was In. I worked with Chad and it was a very good experience. All of the staff was friendly. Chad made the experience far less tedious, because he was very personable. He listened thoroughly to what was wrong and offered the best solutions. He was also very friendly and knew how to engage in polite conversation to make the experience less tedious.

Nathan and his team are very professional and fast. Upon my initial visit I asked how many visits would it take to resolve my problem and he replied if you do the assigned exercise homework probably 5 visits, but we will track as you progress. He was right, I did all the extra exercises at home and not only do I feel great now, I won't have a flare up again if I maintain what he taught me. If you do what he says you will be healed. Thanks to Nathan and his team I can sleep through the night again pain free.

I feel compelled to write this review about Associates because they are literally the BEST physical therapy clinic I have ever used. I've been through therapy at practically all the big hospitals in central Arkansas, and none of them ever seemed to do any good. Not to mention the staff didn't really care whether I improved or not. They just farm you through the clinic like cattle. At Associates, EVERYONE is your therapist. No matter who you're working with, everyone makes an effort to get to know you. They truly care whether you walk out of their clinic better or no different. And they work hard to ensure you walk out BETTER. I can say that in just four weeks of working with Mary and Nathan, I am already improved greatly in my ability to perform daily activities. After 10 surgeries, 7 of which were spine surgeries, I needed a lot of help. Now I can walk a mile and do what I need to do without pain. They've taught me exercises to do to even eliminate pain so I don't have to take medication for it all the time. This is the first time I've had to take physical therapy and actually enjoy and look forward to going in every week. I've never looked forward to it before! The staff is fantastic and if you put in the work, you WILL finish your therapy in much better shape than you started. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing physical therapy, especially orthopedic and spine therapy. These guys know their stuff, and more importantly, THEY CARE.

I was very happy to find Associates Physical Therapy after my back injury resulting in Sciatica and acute pain from my back, through my leg into my foot. The team there worked with me to find the most effective PT, making changes as I progressed and when treatment ended I was pain free. My case was difficult but I was very pleased to find a means to both restore my health and to prevent another Sciatica attack. Not all PTs are alike. 2 different people recommended Nathan to me. I've dealt with an L5-S1 disk injury for years. Nathan provided excellent guidance, pushed me to keep working at it, and ultimately gave me the tools I needed to keep pain away and functionality present. I was involved in a car accident a few months ago and was hit very hard on my driver's side. As a result, I began to have limited neck mobility, as well as a lot of neck pain and headaches. I started seeing Nathan at Associates Physical Therapy- someone from my office recommended them. I cannot say enough good things about the practice and Nathan. I got right in and they were always able to work with my schedule to accommodate me during my lunch break. We did some individualized exercises for treatment as well as some manual techniques. I was shocked at how quickly my pain started to diminish, and I started to regain mobility. After what I consider a short time, I am back to where I was before the accident. Before treatment, I was having trouble doing normal household chores and taking care of my small children. Now, I can run around and play with them just as I did before! I would recommend this practice to anyone seeking physical therapy treatment.

After almost a year of multiple surgeries and physical therapy (including four months in a hospital and a nursing/rehab facility) to reattach both kneecaps after a fall ruptured both quadriceps tendons, I was referred to Associates Physical Therapy. It would be easy to spend time telling you what wonderful people Chad, Nathan and Mary are. But let's talk results. I arrived with essentially zero range of motion in my left knee and insufficient strength to straighten my leg. Today, I was discharged with 135 degrees range of motion and quads strong enough to do multiple sets of step-ups on a stair. In addition to their unmatched skill in restoring my leg to good function, Chad, Nathan and Mary possess a trait I did not find in any of my previous encounters with about 15 physical therapists: They LISTEN to the patient and use that feedback to map the road to recovery. I bless the day I found them.

I can't speak enough kind words about Associates PT. I have had low back pain for as long as I can remember. I have seen doctors, chiropractors, and have even done physical therapy once before. Chronic pain makes you crazy, and I felt as though I was spiraling down. My doctor referred me to Associates, and I skeptically went only because I was desperate to regain some quality of life. I left the first visit feeling hopeless and defeated (once again) because the exercises were initially very uncomfortable and nothing like I had ever tried before. However, because I was desperate, I skeptically did what the PTs instructed. To my surprise, over the next few visits I began to gain mobility in my back and relief from a lifetime of pain. I spent nine weeks working towards 100% mobility and maintaining it. I have never had hope of living pain free (think about that), but now I am. In addition, their office is clean, the employees are courteous, and they were able to work with my busy, working-mom schedule. I am so grateful for Nathan Tumlison and PT Associates. THANK YOU!

The staff is very friendly, caring, and professional. They really do what's best for the patient and not try to keep you there forerver so that they could keep getting your money. They listened to my questions and concerns. They are very thorough with the intake. They helped me with my back and knee pains.
