I have had PT at this Health South location in Hoover three times over the past 5 years. Once after knee replacement surgery and twice after rotator cuff repairs. I cannot say enough about the friendly, professional staff. They care about each individual and tailor therapy to address the specific needs for complete recovery. Thank you ! I just graduated from physical therapy with Daniel at Therapy South. I had ACL replacement surgery in February. They were so wonderful about working with me before surgery to regain range of motion and they put me at ease before surgery. During my 4 months working with them, the entire staff was nothing but kind, motivating, encouraging, competent and amazing. I would recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy. You will be so pleased with their knowledge, environment, and results. I was a red belt in martial arts before my accident and I feel confident that because of their diligent work, I will return stronger than ever!

Had a great experience with my PT at this location; Daniel was my primary therapist; constantly explaining everything he did and how it contributed to my healing; aggressive in using every means available to help me, including the Graston method which helped my knee area feel better, all while maintaining a very calm, matter of fact, reassuring demeanor which was so comforting and built trust when I was in pain and scared. They were all careful not to exacerbate another issue I was experiencing that wasn't the immediate treatment focus; they push you to meet goals to restore functioning, but in an encouraging way. All the staff here are helpful and professional; my husband has also had good experiences at this Hoover location. They are eager to be a resource for improving your health and function and are also conscientious to communicate with the referring provider.

Over the past few years, Daniel has been my therapist for a back injury, a torn Achilles tendon and most recently my plantar fasciitis. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything carefully. Each time I have gone for a problem, my pain has been relieved after several visits. He will definitely be my physical therapist from now on. I highly recommend him and the office is small, clean and all the staff are friendly.

The atmosphere is light and fun, while focus is still on your personal recovery and ensuring you are 100% restored to your pre-injury or pre-surgery state. There are not enough good things that can be said about this location to express my appreciation for the therapists and staff. Each therapist and staff member knows your name and makes you feel welcome and important. When you have suffered with pain for a long time and you’re either seeking relief (whether following surgery or if therapy is your first step for recovery), it’s a wonderful relief to find a place that makes your situation a priority while you are there and strives to help you reach 100% recovery in a warm and inviting location. TherapySouth (Hoover) is a great example of a company that embraces their core values and exemplifies each value in their practice and the recovery of each patient.

Dr. Richardson was super receptive to hearing what my specific therapy goals were and putting together a plan that aligned with it, instead of trying to fit me into a cookie cutter treatment that I was less interested in. He indulged a barrage of questions from me very patiently. The staff in general was great and they were not over booked - I never waited more than a week for an appointment. Also I got a nice t-shirt.
