This clinic gave me hope when no one else did. They helped me improve greatly in such a short time. All of the therapists there are genuinely interested in my health issues. If I have any questions for them, they will stop and take the time to listen to me. I drive 95 miles from my home to see the staff here at Pelham. I could go somewhere local, but each and everyone of the members here have treated me so well I wouldn't think of going anywhere else! I would recommend people to come here because they have made it a very comfortable and enjoyable experience for physical therapy.

I could not ask for a better place with better people. All the therapists at Therapy South in Pelham are extremely knowledgeable in their profession and truly care about each person under their care. I have needed physical therapy on more than one occasion. The first time I needed physical therapy was after my first ACL (right leg) surgery with another company. I did not get the care needed to regain the strength in my quadricep. After my second ACL (left leg) surgery I went to Therapy South in Pelham. They were able to regain all my muscle weakness in my left leg and were able to regain most of my left leg strength. I have returned for knee pain/arthritis and for neck/shoulder pain. The therapists continually learn new approaches to help facilitate strength and healing. I love the fact that they teach you the proper ways to do the exercises needed for strength and conditioning and now have an app that helps keep me on track between visits. I am also very thankful that they have extensive knowledge in dry needling and scraping. I am willing to put in the hard work and look for alternative methods of healing without the use of pain medications or surgery and with them I have been able to avoid both. I am eternally thankful to Nathan, Daniel, Melissa, Melanie, Scott, and Stone. In addition, you can not find someone more accommodating with schedules than their office coordinator, Dawn. There have been many times I have gone into Therapy South frowning but every time I leave I have left with a smile on my face.

Daniel Amen performed several sessions of dry needling in my neck and upper back area. His expertise and knowledge of trigger points and the improvement gained was exceptional. My vertigo and neck pain has greatly decreased. My whole family has visited TherapySouth-Pelham recovering from several surgeries and injuries. Not only is she very patient oriented knowledgeable about the therapy she uses with patients but she is so well experienced in fitting the therapy/routine to meet the needs of the individual. After a few weeks I am significantly improved and will continue the exercise routine she designed for me at home. I also compliment your entire staff at your Pelham location. While Amanda was my primary PT, she was able to rely on Chloe and others for help with my program. You all are a pleasure to "visit" and I thank each of you for your encouragement and support.

I experienced a severe hand injury operating a log splitter in June 2017. The accident involved multiple breaks in my left hand and a compound fracture that required a specialized surgeon at Andrews Sports Medicine (Dr. Kathleen McKeon) to put me back together with newly installed hardware and screws. After surgery I was scheduled at TherapySouth to start my Hand Therapy rehabilitation that I was not looking forward to attending I must say. I was extremely fortunate to have Dr. McKeon perform my surgery but soon found out how fortunate I was to have a great Therapist that specialized in hand injuries as well (Kramer Hodges). I was immediately impressed with this young man with his deep caring nature, professionalism, sense of humor and more importantly his drive to get patients as close to 100% recovery as much as possible. There is no quit in this young man when it comes to patient recovery. I now have complete utilization of my hand due to Dr. McKeon but just as important due to Kramer at TherapySouth in his abilities as you cannot tell now that I had an injury as severe as I experienced. I never imagined I would be able to get to this recovery point as I was very blessed to have Dr. McKeon and Kramer take good care of me. I believe in Kramer Hodges' abilities in helping people the rest of his life as he will continue to touch people he comes in contact with and will always do this in life no matter where his career takes him. The blessing here is Kramer will continue to teach other Therapist to his style and abilities so other people will be just as fortunate as I was. Thanks again Kramer as I wish you the very best and highly recommend TherapySouth!

Nathan Click and his staff are wonderful, and the severe pain to my lower back is GONE after one visit! I injured myself trying to work out too much and too hard. Not only did Nathan treat my injury, but he advised me on how to prevent recurrence and showed me exercises to help strengthen my core without overdoing it to help avoid another injury. Nathan and the entire staff at TherapySouth in Pelham are very professional and so friendly. I went to sessions two or three times per week for six weeks with pain in my hips. With exercises, dry needling, heat, and a few other techniques, the pain on my right side was eliminated completely and the pain on the left side was significantly reduced. They took time to explain why I was having some trouble, what techniques would help with the situation, and why. I highly recommend TherapySouth for all physical therapy needs!

I spent about 8 weeks in physical therapy after having surgery on my ruptured achilles tendon. Over this time, I worked with several different therapists and techs and each one was very friendly and professional. Even before I received my official diagnosis, Nathan and his team were willing to see me the day after my injury and they determined that it would be best to send me to a specialist at Andrews Sports Medicine. I was in daily neck and right shoulder pain. By the end of the day it was intolerable. Nathan helped educate me on how to exercise and stretch the correct muscles to help get me out of pain. He had so much knowledge of the body and it’s structures. He taught me what I called “the science” of what my issues were and how to correct them long term. Now I am pain free most days. Therapy South in Pelham/Alabaster has got to be the all-time best outpatient therapy center in the Southeast. I have had the misfortune to have had a lot of medical problems in the last 4-5 years that have required extensive therapy. Upon my first visit to Therapy South, I was introduced to Nathan Click who was my therapist. He was so thorough it was unbelieveable. He and I worked many weeks in getting my problem areas straightened out. Besides seeing him in the clinic, he assigned exercises to be done at home to help my progress. He also had Lisa Gowins assisting me to be sure I was doing everything correctly. These two are an awesome team! I am sorry to say that other medical issues happened to me and required physical therapy also. I didn't have to think twice as to where I was going to go for my treatment - STRAIGHT BACK TO NATHAN & LISA. Like I said earlier, this is the best place in the Southeast for physical therapy!!!

I love, love, love the staff at Therapy South Pelham/Alabaster. I appreciate their professional, friendly and helpful service. Over the past four years, I have had the need for therapy for a number of physical issues. Currently I am being treated by Daniel Temple for frozen shoulder, and a tear in the rotator cuff. Daniel; is very caring of his patients, and treats them with respect. I would travel many miles to get to this office because I have such confidence in them. My orthopaedic doctor likes this office as well.

I've never been to therapy before but with an ACL tear I needed it. The doctor's office recommended TherapySouth and I'm glad they did! From day one they explained to me the therapy process and what was actually going on with my ACL. At each step they were truly interested in my recovery and helped me get stronger daily. Everyone from the therapists to the receptionists to the techs were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend using them!
