I absolutely love the Trussville branch of Motion Therapy, and the people who work there. The employees make me feel cared for and welcome every single time I enter the door. They all seem to get along with each other as well as the patients they treat. They are all very good at what they do.
Kenny, part owner and manager of the Trussville branch, is an exceptionally empathetic and compassionate person. Kenny is also an incredibly skilled therapist and office manager. He was my therapist for over a year when I first started Motion Therapy and he quickly became my friend as well.
Karen, the receptionist (plus much more) has the best personality and people skills Motion Therapy could ever find to represent them over the phone and in person. She is the face and the voice of the Trussville branch. Motion Therapy would not be be same without Karen’s beautiful smile and friendly attitude. I find myself looking forward to seeing her when I walk through the door each week. She not only tries to greet every person entering the door, she tries to say “good bye” as those same people leave. Somehow, between the people coming and going and the phone ringing, she manages to make appointments and address the concerns of everybody waiting to talk to her, employees and patients alike.
Karen is an amazing person with the patience of a saint. She is the kind of person most people look for in a friend. I like to think of her as a friend because she makes me feel like more than a patient. I have a feeling I am not the only patient who feels that way. She treats everybody with the respect and dignity they deserve.
My therapist, Stacey, has become my friend as well as God’s helping hands for my body and soul. She not only makes me feel better physically, she makes me feel better emotionally. She doesn’t just listen to me when I answer her question about how I feel each week, she actually hears and understands how I feel. She has gotten to know me so well, she can read me like a book. I could not ask for a better therapist than I have in Stacey. This young lady is one in a million. I am glad Kenny handed me off to a therapist as good as he is. Sorry Kenny but you did an awesome job training her and she listened to every word you said.
If you haven’t gotten the picture by now, let me say this: I have seen many therapist in my lifetime but never before have I been fortunate enough to experience the hands-on therapy offered at Motion Therapy. Never before have so many people working in one office made me feel so comfortable and at home.
