My reviews concerning Encore's Rehabilitation best practice indexes are above average. Easily meeting and exceeding Industry standard metrics. Its a reassuring Level One Post Restorative Care Facility and I so happy that it's theue for me after and extended Hospital inpatient situation. Patient Care is equally matched to staff skill sets! I just admire the comradery the available Team at Encore, which by the way many member have worked sisde by side, have 25 years of working together. The management, training, equipment maintenance, knowledge, and quality intership integration, make these everyday sheros and heroes a viable force the the best Tenessee Valley!

I am currently a patient at Encore Rehabilitation in Athens. I have used Encore for Physical and Occupational Therapy several times in the past. I have been treated by all the Therapist at one time or another and found them all to be caring and professional. They are truly concerned with managing my pain and helping me achieving my goal of a full recovery. Their knowledge of the proper exercises and treatment is second to none. From the time I'm greeted at the front desk until I leave, I have never had an unpleasant experience or been disappointed. Great team of caring professionals!

after having a right hip scope (labrum repair, femoroplasty, acetabuloplasty, and synovectomy) I chose encore in Athens because it was close to home. I am non-weight bearing on that leg and on my second visit, they wanted me to start on weight-bearing exercises. I gave them my operative report so they would know exactly what surgery I had. I had a different therapist 3 out of my 4 visits (after 4 visits I switched to Sportsmed in Huntsville where I normally go and just took the hit on the drive). I was asked almost every time what surgery I had (specific details) after I had already given them the operative report. This is a surgery where special attention must be given in rehab and it just wasn’t there for me. I’m very meticulous about my PT and rehabilitation particularly after hip surgery. I’m sure for a lot of people, this level of care would be just fine. But I had the same surgery on my left hip last year so I was expecting more attention to detail. I expressed my concern to my surgeon and he suggested I switch rehab facilities. I want to make it clear that I was never treated poorly, nobody was ever rude to me at all. Everyone was very kind. But more attention to post-surgical patients is needed, in my opinion. I will continue my full 12 weeks of therapy in Huntsville.
