I have been seeing Lori Fong for almost a year now. She came from the department where I was diagnosed at Stanford so has a unique understanding of the neurologic challenges I face. When I am having a particularly hard day, she comes up with creative ways to make the most of my sessions and abilities, meeting me where I am at, and is always kind and patient with me even when I am impatient with myself. I truly believe that much of the improvement in my condition has come from her work with me and her vast knowledge. I really hope ATI knows what an absolute gem they have in Lori. She is a total superstar and I am so, so fortunate I found her.

I had an extensive hand surgery where tendons were taken from my fingers and fused into my hand to replace Atrophied hand muscles. Its been a long road to recovery but the ATI staff has been wonderful and aggressive in helping me get back to my normal routine. They are all pleasant to work with they truly listen to you when you explain your discomfort and immediately address the issues at hand. This is especially important to me because I am a Chef and use of my hands is extra important to me because its my livelihood .

My daughter had been struggling for over a year with severe back pain. We had been to 3 different physical therapy places with no relief. Within the first visit at ATI in Troy they had diagnosed the problem and began steps to fix it. It has now been two months and she is pain free and will be back in the pool swimming soon! After surgery for massive rotator cuff tear I attended Northeast for therapy from May to August 2019, for a total of 36 visits. On my first day I started crying while doing one of the exercises because I despaired I might not heal and recover any mobility in my shoulder. I explained that to Dylan and I was not made to feel embarrassed or ashamed for having that feeling. For the first few weeks I was always on the edge of that feeling, fighting back tears. To their great credit, everyone understood and checked in with me regularly during each visit to see how I'm doing with any of the exercises, how my shoulder was doing. Most importantly, the Northeast PTs don't leave you alone and seem to understand completely that YOUR DESIRE TO HEAL IS GENUINE no matter how miserable you might look on any particular visit! They handle very well your despair, frustration, impatience, even your anger, with patience and good will. Tom runs a VERY WELL ORGANIZED GROUP, everyone knows who is doing what and keeps very close track of where everyone is at in their protocol at any given moment. All my best wishes to everyone (Tom, Danni, Dylan, Kim, Marve and everyone else at Northeast) who made it possible for my surgeon, Dr. Jeremie Axe, to exclaim on my final visit to him "These numbers are OUTSTANDING!" I really could not have done it without you all. I tried to upload a picture of the cake you all deserved (from Cannon's Cakes in Wilmington), but it didn't seem to make it.
