My husband recommend McMillen Photography as he is an old acquaintance for many years ago and he is local and I could not have been happier with the cost, the service, and most of all the photos from our Wedding Day. Zack was our photographer and he captured some great moments from our day and was so sweet and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a photographer. Amazing.

We booked McMillen photography for our wedding after doing a free engagement session with them. Ben and Ken shot our wedding and spent the entire day with us. They spent time getting pictures of us girls getting ready and Ben even helped my bridesmaids steam my veil! They were super fun to work with and very patient throughout the day, especially with our not so cooperative ring bearer! They worked quickly and efficiently to get all of the shots we wanted and did an excellent job! Our pictures were breathtaking!!! Couldn't be more pleased, we love them all!

We went with McMillen photography for our wedding photos and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! From the get go, all of the staff at McMillen made me feel like I was their priority, which is a great feeling when it comes to wedding vendors. They answered every and any questions we had promptly! Jessica and Ed were our photographers for our wedding and they were absolutely wonderful! We were so comfortable around them and they were familiar with our venue so they knew all the best spots for photos! Our photos are absolutely breathtaking! Our only regret with booking McMillen Photography was that we didn't get the videographer as well!

I would recommend McMillen to anyone on a tight budget - but if you are looking for high-quality photos; do not look here. Not sure if it is all family and friends that review McMillen highly, or we just struck out more than once - but after using them for our wedding, and Christmas pictures the following year - we have learned our lesson. Wedding pictures were done by two of their staffers - and were less than satisfactory. We let them instruct us on best poses and such - which resulted in 3-4 usable images out of the 2 disks we were provided. As well as missed events at teh wedding due to them not adhering to our schedule (we had 2 hours set aside for photos between the ceremony and reception). The following year (this year) we schedule Christmas pictures with Ben - the owner. Hoping that, even though our initial images were sub-par, the owner would more than make up for it with amazing pictures for our Christmas cards A). We scheduled a 45 minutes session that only lasted 20 minutes. B). Ben was unable to take our photos, and had his wife do it - who was obviously unskilled (as he had to guide her on how to take the shots). In both circumstances - we had to wait many weeks for photos to be provided (4 weeks for wedding photos, and 3 weeks for the Christmas photos), and they were of sub-par quality.

I have admired McMillen Photography for several years following their Facebook page and enjoying the gorgeous wedding photos they post. I was so excited they had my date available, even when I had to change it! I was extremely pleased with the quality of the photos as well as the amazing hard cover proof book that was part of our package. My only complaint is the price. But compared to others in our area their pricing was comparable. If you are looking for a professional company to do wedding photos in the Morgantown, WV area, McMillen Photography is the best!

We booked two photographers from McMillen, Jessica and Scott. The photographers were on time and knew what they were doing. Jessica was my main contact throughout the months before the wedding. She was kind and quick to respond to all my emails and questions. When I was getting into my dress for the wedding, she helped my mom and me with the buttons. I told her that should be an honorary bridesmaid because of how she helped us. She listened to my ideas about what I wanted and was quick to take photos anywhere I asked. Jess had plenty of creative ideas for group photos and was effective at wrangling and arranging family members for photos. Scott was also very kind and sometimes hung with Jessica, offering different angles to situations. Then other times, he would depart to make sure he got photos of the men or the other side of the reception area. We also booked a photo booth and DJ (Steve Barrett) through McMillen. Both were great decisions. Steve Barrett is an AMAZING DJ...he was polite and fun!

Very poor experience. While their photos are absolutely stunning they have awful customer service. After winning what was supposed to be a "free" engagement session with McMillen I set my appointment a month in advanced my fiance took vacation days so we could travel to their studio in waynesburg. A week before my appointment after asking many questions over the month they finally tell me that what is included in the package was not what I was lead to believe and that there would be hefty additional fees if I wanted to upgrade....... The prices weren't add-ons but rather while session prices. This wouldn't have been a problem for us if they had been upfront and let us know that to begin with. When we complained about it and tried to get everything cleared up we were told we were lying and just trying to get free stuff when this was not the case at all.

Jess did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding day. We were running behind schedule, but she made sure to get us back on track while still taking the most beautiful photos. They were at the venue before we arrived and got some shots that I would have not though of. They were so helpful with organizing the family pictures. While working with the little ones from the wedding they were very patient. We got our pictures back so quickly and have so many good ones to choose from! I can't wait to use them again for our next occasion.

Everything was fantastic! Ben was very personable when he was interacting with us, and we didn't even notice him when he was taking shots in the background. The pictures after the ceremony didn't take long, allowing us more time to mingle with guests, but they came out beautifully! Plus we received the pictures super quickly and there were a few hundred more than we were expecting. I would HIGHLY recommend Ben and his team to all future brides and I'm sure we'll be using him again for family portraits and events! :)

I had a wedding video done by McMillen. Package 2 (Full Day Coverage & multiple locations) 1 Videographer Includes Editing, Titles, Searchable Chapters & Guest Interviews Includes 2 DVD's (Free Blu-Ray Upgrade) $1200 but it was actually $1400 First, their communication was terrible. We could not pay online, and we could not figure out why. Their website says that they accept AMEX, but they do not, so it wouldn't accept our payment. It took me weeks to get a hold of them and all the while I am getting daily emails saying that they will cancel if I don't pay (I was also calling and leaving multiple messages during this time). Finally, I got the owner (Ben) on the phone and he told us that they do not take AMEX. During the wedding we had no problems. He was on time and seemed to be working. After the wedding, it took them a long time to get it back to me. I emailed at 8 weeks and they said that it would take 12 weeks, so I emailed at 12 weeks and they magically had it done that day... I think they just wait for you to hound them, When I got the video I was very disappointed. The first thing I noticed was that the image was pixely... I tried to ignore this and moved away from the TV... Maybe it was because of the sunny day? I have no idea, but I paid $1400 for a video that doesn't really look professional. Then they missed some of the stuff that I expected to be included in a wedding video: They missed the silly dances in the grand entrance to the reception They missed me coming out of the house at the beginning of the ceremony ME the bride, missed MY entrance to the ceremony They missed the bridesmaids entrance exchanges They missed the groom and groomsmen entering too (seriously??) Additionally, I asked for testimonials and payed extra for this (package 2 instead of package 1)... I got like 4 (actually 9, but really!?! there were like 200 guests), that's it. I was under the impression that they would talk to everyone. Additionally, I contacted them and they proceeded to tell me that everything I asked for was on the video... It's not, and it took me emailing an additional 3 times over WEEKS to get an answer back from them again. Very Disappointed. I would not deal with this company.

McMillen Photography took the pictures for my August 2017 wedding/reception, and they are absolutely gorgeous! My husband and I were speechless when we saw the finished products. Ben was so much fun to work with, constantly making my husband and I laugh, and getting the PERFECT shot every time. He and his assistant were professional, but also made sure they and everyone in our bridal party was having fun the whole time. We can't get enough of our pictures and still look at them nightly. We would highly recommend Ben McMillen and his company to anyone - they are truly the best!

I loved how McMillen was a one stop shop! I used them for photo, video and photography services! My pictures are beautiful and the turn around time was so fast! I got a link to my images while we were still on our honeymoon. Ben did a great job working with our timeline and multitasking when we were running a few minutes behind. Kailee was such a blessing during the planning process. Planning a wedding from out of town can be stressful but she helped me figure out a timeline and calm my nerves over the phone! The photo booth was a huge hit! I definitely recommend. I loved how we got a photo album at the end of the night and also digital copies of all the photo booth pictures!
