I went into my proposal with my fiancé with no knowledge of how a photographer would work. Luckily for me, I found Jakub through Yelp. From the start, Jakub was extremely quick in responding to my inquiry and setting up next steps. We decided that John Street Park would be an ideal location for the proposal due to the view of the Brooklyn bridge. Within 24 hours, Jakub had sent me detailed plan that included the best time to incorporate the natural sun set, as well as the best way to keep him hidden so my fiancé wouldn’t know what was coming. I appreciated Jakub’s professionalism and his commitment to ensuring that the proposal would go exactly how I wanted it to go. On the day of the proposal, Jakub arrived to the location 30 minutes before hand to go over logistics and where he would be hidden. Because he was able to make such a great plan, Jakub captured some beautiful pictures of the proposal itself. After the shock had worn off, Jakub walked me and my fiancé through how the photo shoot would go. We were both a bit skeptical of photo shoots, as they never seem natural, but Jakub blew our expectations out of the water. Throughout the shoot, Jakub would ensure we were comfortable and ensured we couldn’t leave a spot until we got the picture that was just right. The photos we received were amazing. Much better than either of us thought they could be. We would highly recommend Jakub to anyone looking for a proposal/wedding photographer

We had Jakub as our photographer for our wedding at the Chauncey Hotel in Princeton, NJ in April 2019. Jakub was very responsive, available, helpful, fun and comfortable from the beginning. We booked him about 10 months out, and he checked in periodically to see how we were doing, and to help us build the plan for our big day. He started out with an easy phone call with us to learn more about us, and what we were looking for. He provided a ton of advice and comfort throughout what could be a really stressful process - he ended up creating our day-of schedule that our family and wedding party could follow which made it super easy for us. He arrived early on wedding day, and took getting ready photos, set up our first look, and then took all of the couple, family, and wedding party photos before the wedding started (at our request) so we could enjoy all parts of the wedding. He instructed us the whole time, and made us feel comfortable even though my (now) husband and I didn't love being in the spotlight and in front of the cameras. He ended up staying longer than scheduled to ensure he captured all of the fun. We then received all 600 (!!) pictures of the wedding only THREE days after our wedding day. They come in a super easy online link that you can share with family and friends to download and keep forever. We loved literally every single picture. They came out crisp, and clear but also very natural and real-looking. We cannot recommend Jakub enough as a wedding photographer - we can't think of one negative thing to say about him. We had the pleasure of working with Jakub on our wedding day (22.02.18) and he was just fabulous on every level! We had travelled to NY from the UK for a destination wedding and so we had never met Jakub (our planner had put us in touch with him). We had booked a particularly lengthy session with him too so we were taking quite a risk. It was the best risk we have ever taken and so worth the time and money we invested in Jakub's skills. His 'eye' for detail and what makes a great photograph is just amazing! He sees opportunities for great shots wherever you are, whatever the weather (we had rain pretty much all day - but from the photos and the smiles on our faces, you would never know that it was such a grey day). His knowledge of our chosen NY locations was great (which really helped us) and he adapted to the weather conditions on the day by not only making other destination suggestions but also by making the most of the weather we had. He also accommodated our request for some extra time as we felt we'd like additional shots of our family. Despite being soaked through, he did not complain once. We loved his spontaneous ideas too - he took photographs we'd never even thought of but absolutely love. I never thought we'd find a photography session so enjoyable! The photographs were available to view just 5 days after our wedding and they have surpassed all of our expectations. The quality is excellent and he has really captured the 'feel' of our day and us as a couple. We have no regrets and would definitely recommend Jakub to our friends and family. We would use him again in a heartbeat. Such a fabulous photographer and genuinely lovely, patient and professional guy. Thank you!

I won a free print with Jakub online, so my fiance and I scheduled a session with him for our engagement photos. Jakub listened to our suggestions for location and added some of his ideas, and his guide for what to wear was immensely helpful. He was fun to work with and took triple the time he said he would, even taking some individual shots at the end we wanted. Above all, though, I was just so pleased with how our photos turned out. They're beautiful, the cityscapes in the background look great, and he did a great job with retouching. I highly recommend Jakub!
