I absolutely had an amazing experience at the Game Room Studio. My event ended about 4 hours ago and I must say, I have no regrets about choosing this location for my event. The owner was very accommodating, helpful and polite and I would use this location again for future events. Thank you to the owner and his team.

The only issue is finding parking. The actual venue was gorgeous and clean. We rented the space for Friendsgiving this November and the venue was well lit, there was a game/tv room for the kids. Thinking of booking with Mario for my wedding.

It's a nice place but beware of the hidden charges Mario doesn't tell you about or he brushes like it's nothing. He does not allow for party set up time. He claims it's part of your rented time. He tells you party until 1am but you have to leave the premise by that time or you lose the security deposit. Yeah he charges $300 security that you end up losing. Each overtime hour is that price. When you complain he says, he's not a party rental venue he's a studio that rents by the hour.

GREAT SPACE ! I recently hosted a FriendsGiving this past weekend at the studio in which i proposed to my girlfriend. I informed Mario of the event we were having and my intentions and he and his staff helped to create a great atmosphere for us! He was great with helping plan and threw some ideas to help make the experience a great one. My now fiancé was completely in shock behind the proposal, all of our friends/family loved the space and the ambiance provided ! The space is beautiful with Mario and his staff being as accommodating as can be with every single thing. I look forward to booking with Mario again in the near future. Thanks again, Mario !

Loved the spaces and was really excited to book the studio venue for my event but I had a very difficult and disheartening experience working with Mario. Communication was very difficult. For a few weeks I was not able to get in contact with Mario by phone or text and was only able to talk to him in person by going directly to the event space. My booking request was ignored due to Mario being away on vacation or a type of leave, and so I lost the event space for my date. It was very wonderful for Mario to offer discounts and perks for the next events but when I later brought it up to him, he had forgotten he had offered. Still not giving up on the space, I called him afterwards to confirm whether the spaces were booked and learned that the other space - not the studio but the game room - was actually available so I went ahead to book feeling happy that I could use the space. But that also fell through and we were not able to book... Long story short, the prices offered were different from what Mario and I had initially discussed, the circumstances offered were different and I was left extremely confused. At the very end Mario rescinded his more suddenly expensive offer for the venue (when it initially was cheaper ((hidden fees??)) and also he had forgotten about the discounts and perks) and when he TWICE said he would call me back in the middle of our phone call he did NOT, and I was left calling HIM back to continue our discussion. He was also pushing me hard to hire security for the event when I did not feel comfortable having security check my guests ID. I did not plan to have any alcohol at the event and he was even going as far to say if we had underage drinking we could go to prison. I am very much over the legal drinking age and thought this talk to be unnecessary especially since we were not planning to have alcohol served or brought we just wanted to curate a fun and safe event for friends. He was also making excuses not to talk to me on the phone. His tone of voice was very cold, direct and rude. As a potential client, I strongly feel that this service was inadequate and business was very poorly done. It was a stressful experience and I would not recommend booking here.

Nice place. Went there for a baby shower and the space is big and clean. Perfect for a party or even better a photoshoot or pop up gallery. Only one single person bathroom although clean definitely not crowd friendly.

The space looks great on the inside. But the location is not easily accessible by transit or car. No identifiable signage on the building. The space is a second floor walk up. Plus the owner seems all about the money. Good for weddings and invitation-only events but definitely NOT a good place to host Pop-Up shops.

The Game Room Studio is truly a hidden gem for party rental space in Greenpoint Brooklyn. The owner Mario and his two assistants were very helpful setting up for my wife's baby shower this past Sunday. The Game Room Studio accommodates up to 75 people which includes tables, chairs, kitchen area, water cooler, popcorn machine, DJ booth, speakers, mini fridge, smaller living room and access to two bathrooms. Anything you need for your event, Mario got it covered. Family and friends were absolutely happy and had a great time at the event. There is even a larger ballroom space towards the front of the building where the room is covered in white color floors and ceiling, large windows, great light exposure and all the sound system technology to ask for. The location of the Game Room Studio is located on an active commercial block, Manhattan Ave in Greenpoint Brooklyn, great location and amazing views of the Midtown Manhattan skyline.
