A wonderful experience. Michael is very profession and wants you to feel as beautiful as you are, see yourself through a different lens. The hair, makeup and relaxed aura, make this experience completely enjoyable. I am far from feeling like i'm a "sexy" person (I'm a great dork). This photo session and pictures make me feel like I really do have it in me. I have a bit more confidence when I walk around now. Although the photo album was for my boyfriend, I will likely be purchasing some favorites for myself. I also plan on purchasing a session with my boyfriend and In the future.

Working with Michael and Zinfandel Photography, was an absolutely wonderful experience. I walked in nervous and unsure of everything. By the time my hair and makeup was complete, I was feeling like I was hanging with good friends. We had good laughs & conversation which put me at ease for stepping out of my comfort zone. (which has never been easy for me) Michael did an amazing job meeting all my expectations for my photos and then some. I totally love all my photos and loved the experience I had. I highly recommend Michael for your photos!!

I was incredibly nervous to get my picture taken, let alone contact Michael for a consultation, but I couldn’t be happier to have made the plunge. I wanted to give my fiancé a truly special gift before our wedding that he wouldn’t expect but would cherish forever. He was speechless from the results, and I have Michael to thank for it! Throughout the process Michael was extremely professional, encouraging, and friendly. At no point did I feel uncomfortable—even if I was a little nervous about the idea of a photo shoot in the beginning. It helped that the pictures were taken in my home, that my dog fell in love with Michael, and that Meg, his make-up artist, did a phenomenal job. She was there for the entire shoot, which was great for touch-ups, as well as my nerves. Michael was a trooper who rolled with the punches; while he booked me an appointment for hair, I was delayed and unable to make it in time. Michael was very accommodating of my error and I couldn’t thank him enough for thinking on his feet! Luckily we were able to stay on time and Michael and Meg were happy and excited to produce photos based on my original vision and Pinterest board. It was like being on cloud nine—both Michael and Meg helped me to feel attractive, confident, and beautiful during and after the photo shoot. I loved that there were options: I could choose the location, hair, make up inspiration, outfits, and final photos. While Michael is the true artist, it felt great to combine forces in order to bring a story to life based on my comfort level and preferences. If you’re ever in need of a confidence boost, want to feel beautiful, or provide you special someone with a stellar gift, Michael is your go-to! I am so glad I worked through my initial fears so that I could work with him. I guarantee you’ll feel the same!
