Info about GERMAN passport photos. This review in NO WAY reflects the service of the staff, they were excellent. However, the store does gouge you on prices of international passport photos – charging $25, or $10 more, than their US passport photos. They can do this because they're the only shop in the area who offers this service. I got some photos from them for my German passport renewal because I knew I wouldn't have time to have it done in Boston by the lady who did my last passport photos for $10. IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE GERMAN CONSULATE IN BOSTON: I found out yesterday that they now have a photo booth on-site to get passport photos for $5. This is by far the best option, and saves you a trip to GMC who charges a premium because they know they can. This review is in hopes of informing other potential customers who need German passport photos to just get them done at the consulate.

Green Mountain Camera and their staff are terrific! I was searching all over for some vintage parts for my old Bolex and GM Camera really came through. Despite not having them listed on their site, they searched their warehouse for me and tracked down exactly what I needed! What's more, they gave me a great price and shipped them for free! I totally screwed up ordering a replacement part for a tripod via Amazon and knew that I needed to talk to an IRL human to get it right. Green Mtn Camera staff was fantastic answering my questions, they had quick and friendly service, and I was able to walk in and out with my new part the same day (faster than Amazon Prime and way better!). Then, when I lost my receipt (a work purchase), they were able to recreate it quickly, saving the day. I am super pleased with my whole experience (and the part!).

i have been having prints made at green mountain camera for the last year and have been very happy with both the quality of the prints and the service. the membership is a great deal and the staff are unfailingly helpful and knowledgeable. minor problems that have occasionally arisen have always been resolved in the customer's favor--more than fair, more than satisfied....

The staff here was so helpful. I bought my new Nikon on sale from this store on Black Friday (I know I’m posting this a bit late), but they were so great about holding a camera for me, appraising my camera, and giving me extra lens caps when I realized Nikon doesn’t give you caps for both sides of the lens anymore. So much better than a Best Buy or Walmart!
