Look for him if you go in if you want someone that listens to what you’re looking for and isn’t just trying to push whatever on you that you don’t really need. I’m very happy with my new workspace. Loved the person that assisted me with my warranty issue, the only thing is that even though I had an appointment and they had a bunch of employees there they took a while to take care of me. I think they could be a little more organized in that sense, maybe they had more work to do than what it seemed to me, still would come back here. Was not okay with the answer I got at all. I had my Galaxy S3 since 2014 with 1 battery change and it still turns on and works fine. Got a new IPhone 6S when it came out and just this month ordered a new battery for it and got it unlocked but when I went to the apple store they said it was nothing they could do to fix it. I've never dropped it in water. Never broke or cracked my screen. Had it for 3 yrs. And they said it was completely dead and the only option was to replace it by buying a new one. No. Never buying anything apple Shaun if it don't last. Back to Android. Idc

Speedy service, well priced products, are some of the negatives of an apple store. Another one of my gripes is the assumption from apple employees that I don't know what I'm talking about. They try to use big words and large numbers to try to talk you into a larger more extravagant price. Be Warned you'll sink a lot of money here for absolutely no reason other than "the apple ecosystem"

He had a nose ring....maybe that will help. Anywho, super fast and went above and beyond with answering questions unrelated to the macbook I took in. Highly recommended!

I would not recommend going to this store for an iPhone repair. First, I walked to the Genius Bar counter at the back of the store. The Apple customer service reps condescendingly ask if you checked In with a person at the front of the store. The store is chaotic, nobody greets you when you walk in and you really can’t tell the employees from the customers. The repair tech, Emilio, main goal was to sell me a new iPhone and not to perform my scheduled appointment to replace the battery. He said my phone has a slight bend/warp and would cause it to crack my screen. I asked him to replace the battery regardless and I would repair the screen if it did happen. Emilio said they are experts & deal with this all the time when replacing the battery and the screen would crack without a doubt. He did not offer any other solutions other than buying a new phone. It was a waste of time and horrible customer service at this store. I went to make an appointment at an authorized, third-party Apple repair store Simply Mac. They kindly replaced my iPhone battery and successfully did NOT crack my screen. I explained my issue with the repair tech Emilio at the Apple Store on Knox St in Dallas. The guy at Simply Mac explained that there is now way my screen would crack and they just need to follow the proper steps when replacing the battery. Albeit, there is a $20 additional fee at Simply Mac but well worth it! Simply Mac agreed that it was just a tactic that the Apple employees perform in order to sell more phones.

After 3 hours on the phone with Apple support, I walked into the Knox Store at 2:30 pm on a Wednesday, despite no appointments being available. Brandon greeted me quickly, listened to my issue, and solved it above and beyond what I expected, without me having to ask. He was quick, knowledgeable, kind, and solution-oriented. I know I'm not special, but he provided a customer service experience that suggested otherwise. Nice job Brandon, thank you. Pro-tip: There's a theory (proven true during my visit) that if there's rain on the horizon, there are less people in the store, decreasing my wait time.

Stopped by with my daughter (12) with her ipad for repairs. Our first time in an apple store. We were greeted at the door and directed to someone immediately. He was so nice to my daughter. It turned out to be a simple fix and he had us on our way within a few minutes even though the store was fairly busy. Fantastic service. While we were there I observed the other staff members being very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store.

Not a good Apple store I ve been to. No one pays attention and feels like they annoyed of customers. Was purchasing my new iPhone, and the guy (worker) with no excuse started to answer questions for other lady, made me wait on him for 15 min , after I swiped my credit card , I wanted this transaction be on my Apple account, he refused to help , and no bag for iPhone , no suggestion for Apple care. Not gonna come back to this store anymore. The personnel need to be well trained.

False advertising . Ordered iphone online and selected in store pickup. I even called someone in the store to verify that the phone was in stock. After setting the 'pick up' appointment we found that the phone was stuck in the 'processing stage ???? This is an in-stock unlocked phone... what processing is needed ?? Clearly the phone was NOT in stock and they are falsely taking customers money. Maybe I should list my payment as 'in process' too ?

Horrible. I had scheduled an appt to have my battery replaced. I live out in the suburbs so I called to make sure the spot was still good. When I get there the guy runs s diagnostic (which was already done remotely mind you). He tells me they are out of batteries so they are going to schedule an appt to do it. Wasn’t that the whole point of this appt?! That’s what my appt confirmation email said. Then he tells me he saw 150 people so they probably ran out then. So now he’s basically saying they don’t save their equipment for those that actually scheduled service. Very disappointed in my experience here. Not at all what I expected.

Always busy and always a wait, but the staff is amazing. Here's why. A year ago I came in with an iPad and iPhone that had been completely smashed to pieces by my ex during the breakup. Literally, pieces. It was basically just the insides. I think it may have been the manager I met with, not totally sure. I explained I couldn't even get into my iCloud because of two step verification and asked if there was anything they could do but given the condition was doubtful. The guy took one look and kinda chuckled and was like "um not likely." I was about to l go and he was like, "what happened, anyway?" When I told him he looked straight up and dead faced asked, "omg, are YOU okay??" It was really genuine and kind, and then he said brb. He left with my stuff and came back a few minutes later. He told me he handed them off to one of his best techs to see what he could do (big tatted bearded guy with his doggo tattooed on his arm. Nicest guy ever!!) These guys were able to take my phone apart, put a temporary screen on that was JUST stable enough for me to put my passcode in, and held it precariously in place while I ported out a hard backup to my laptop, which they waited for me to drive home and get. I got all my photos, phone numbers, everything back that I thought was lost forever. I bought a new iPad right there and they helped me get everything set up just like before I lost it. Finally, when I asked how much it was for the phone repair. He said, "no charge. It wasn't really repaired. Besides, no one should have to go through that." I legit might have cried. It was so comforting to have complete strangers come together to do whatever they could to help a rando through a really tough situation - even though they knew they couldnt fix it they still helped me out. They still made their sale, and they went above and beyond to make things a little easier for someone who was having a bad day. I wish I knew all their names because they deserve recognition for doing a little bit of good in the world. Thanks Knox Street Apple guys! You're the best!

My mom turned in my laptop for me. I was in contact with them shortly to explain the issues and to switch all contact to me. They said repairs will take >$900 so I decided to get the product back (had some documents they wouldn't extract but suggested I do so at another vendor). They said they would send it back to my house and confirmed the address. I don't live in the same city as my parents but I thought the issue was handled. When I got back, no laptop. When I called them, it took 2 solid days to get a concrete answer - they had considered it abandoned and recycled it. Even though they knew I had important documents on there. They claimed they let me know but they never switched contact information. I was very disappointed by the way this was handled. The Apple rep was more concerned with where to put blame than fixing my unfixable issue. Huge disappointment #2 from Apply for me.

Loud and extremely distracting. Think of a kindergarten class right after an ice cream social. There is a lady with a mic teaching a class. Children running around looking at all the devices. Every time I have come here (total of 5 times), the genius bar people are very condescending. It just needs to be quieter to help serious consumers makes decisions and work through their troubleshoots with the people. Slowly switching over to Android and Windows because of this ridiculousness.

Ready to buy 2 computers. Yet I decided to give them a small problem i had with the IPhone XS (Still under factory warranty). They wanted me to dance around and make 100’s of phone call (that I had already been through) and employees wouldn’t step up to help. I spoke to the manager about how challenging the service was she stepped in yet she was wrestling. They replace the new phone- and the screen protector. I came back 2 weeks later about the screen protector issue. 2 employees said we can’t so anything call done company that carries and explain them my situation. I tried to tell the Apple employees that it was just installed about 2-3 weeks ago at that store. Yet they refused. They are just wanting new sales and are hungry. 0 service after the sale. You may want to move forward to another service provider. This place I have found employees to be very lazy. They look important yet they find ways to get rid of you, reminder that I am a business guy.

ANOTHER Apple store that can't get a handle on customer service. 1 - Any trip there, regardless of what time your appointment is will last at least an hour. The appointment can't begin any earlier than requested but it sure can begin much later 2 - They never answer their phone. Despite an email sent to me that provided no detail other than to call the store, they aren't staffed to handle the calls. 3 - You can't check in for your appointment until 15 minutes prior. No matter what. You can stand in front of the guy for as long as you want, he won't check you in until 15 minutes prior. 4 - Even Apple's regular support team has no way of reaching the store. They asked me if it was under construction or something because they couldn't get through to them on some back channel either. 5 - Apple Support actually suggested that I drive back to the store to check on the status of my order because no one answered the phone and there were no details in the ticket.

I'm really a Windows guy but had to get an iPad for work. Even I have to admit that the Apple costumer service is amazing. Before the store opened employees were outside assisting with what they could, and when we went in the dozens of employees already there gave the costumers a huge applause. Really makes you feel special. I suppose that's a +1 to Apple, as much as I hate to say it.

My experience at this Apple Store was fantastic! The staff applauded the customers as they opened the doors and we came into the store. I was there for a training class on how to use my Mac. The instructor was awesome and very patient! She ensured all participants were understanding the topics being covered before moving on to the next topic. As you leave the store, the staff also ensure you had a good experience and your needs were met. Customer service rocks at this store and I highly recommended shopping here!

Overall, a very good outcome, at an extremely busy time of year, without an appointment. Arrived 20min after opening, two days before xmas, as a walk in. My air pods had stopped working, less than 60 days old. This is the only apple item I own, I purchased it at an ATT company store. Parking: I arrived before most of the stores were open on a Sunday, and there was plenty of parking. I missed the store on the first go round, and while making a two block turn around I saw at least two publicly available parking lots, which may or may not require a fee. Free street parking would absolutely be at a super premium during regular business hours, and many had a two hour limit. The wait: I waited about one hour for a seat at a work table, and about twenty minutes after that for an actual service person. The area is extremely walkable. There are many stores, most are pretty high-end. There is a Starbucks with outdoor seating two blocks away. The genius bar will text you when you should make your way back to the store. This worked very well. Service: Included diagnosing and then replacing both ear pieces, took about forty minutes. I was very pleased with extremely polite, not particularly chatty service. She asked me what I wanted, and it was resolved exactly to my desired outcome. Result: I arrived at 915a, checked in and went to Starbucks. I left with two new ear pieces at about 1110a. Since I expected a much longer wait two days before xmas, *and* thought it was likely they would be out of air pods to resolve my problem, I thought this was a superb result. Plus: they have a short table for children. Minus: everyone I actually *spoke* to was polite and helpful. But I was basically ignored, with no reassurance that I had not been forgotten, for more than twenty minutes after I was directed to a work table all the way across the store, even though there was a service person (not mine) at the table. Since there were multiple employees standing around chatting with other employees, I thought this was poor form, but I understand Apple is not known for good service, so there you are. There did not appear to be a manager on the floor, but I wasn't looking hard. Suggestions: Consider booking an appointment in advance. Either come very early in the day, or be prepared to pay for parking. Come prepared to wait, regardless. There is not really any place to sit if it is not your time for service. Wear walking shoes, and explore the other stores.

Today I went into the Apple store because my battery needed to be fixed. I already had an appointment so that process was easy. They said it would be an hour wait so we waited an hour came back and we waited to get the phone. The staff tells us that they can’t help me with my battery replacement because my phone was too old then offered me to by the same refurbished phone for $200 and they would buy my phone for $40. They lied and told us they didn’t have the tools but they really just wanted more money if you need to go to the Apple store do something really important please don’t go to this one it would save you a lot of time you won’t get back.And if any staff sees this I am not thanking you for this horrible service you call a business. Please don’t rip anyone else’s time away.

Every time I come to this location they are AMAZING! I had an unfortunate accident with my phone where the screen was totally shattered and inoperable. I had my daughter with me and I was super nervous. First, because I had to drive in Dallas and second because I had to come into the store with my gigantic stroller and child to try and recover something of a phone. They were quick to open the door for me! The woman at the front made sure to check me in and station me at a table where I’d be comfortable with all of my baby things! The helper that came to review my issue was so super sweet!! She helped distract my little girl and talk to her while I was getting information for my phone! There was more unfortunate issues regarding my Apple ID and my busted phone not being able to display anything. They tried everything in their power to help me out!! In the end I walked out of there with everything I needed! They were absolutely amazing, sweet, and helpful!! I was probably the worst case that day and it was probably super frustrating for the team that was helping me. But they did it with a smile and they never gave up on me or gave me attitude! Although I HATE driving in Dallas, especially with my daughter, I will make the drive to this store with any issue that I have with my Apple products! I don’t understand why this location has such a low rating. I’ve stood inside the Northpark and Galleria location and both have literally watched me walk in and no one asked how they could help me. Within a few seconds of walking in to this location we were asked what we needed, we were guided where to go, and we received help super quickly. It’s never that way at the other locations. This location is better by customer service and in general the location being away from a mall/on its own makes it 100x better. It was full (when is it not) but it’s very spacious. My only two complaints are parking sucks (but it’s Knox so if you complain you’re ridiculous) and they wouldn’t give my sister a credit for an iPhone 7 Plus that was in great condition just slightly bent when they were willing to take my iPhone 6s and give me a $200 credit for it. But great location!

THEY DO NOT DO SECURE WIPES OF SSD! I had already talked to two apple techs on the phone and "wiped" my drive twice (of course I was going to follow Apple's directions because they're such sneaky rats when it comes to Apple products) well each time the GUI wasn't working properly so obviously a secure wipe wasn't happening and you specifically have to do the right one for ssd. I've never been to an Apple store before but I immediately felt like I was at a Montessori kid's school. The only reason I bought this mac was for React-Native, I've owned many Apple products but they all eventually get wiped and turned into a Linux distribution, but the hardware has always seems to last a long time so I had a little faith in Apple. I asked the guy helping me if there were actual software and hardware engineers or just techs and he said, "Oh, it's all the same!" That was the first HUGE red flag. I only went in because I was concerned about my firmware as I had recently gotten some malware on my mac. So this was my THIRD time getting it wiped, that's why I decided to go to a store as I was told they could run diagnostics and do a secure wipe. Some girl with blonde hair and a tattoo helped me and I explained everything and that I wanted a SECURE wipe and diagnostics ran on my firmware - because duh, invisible malware, firmware malware. I was actually appalled the last tech on the phone I spoke to told me because I'd enabled root and logged out of my user and into the root system admin and was able to see the malware was CURRENTLY contained in my user to just delete that user..... what??? There could be a LOT more going on under the hood especially because it appeared to be polymorphic and this malware was moving super fast so once you're infected you don't just casually erase one user and you're good to go - no dude reformat and install fresh. So the girl helping me at the Apple store assured me they could definitely check my firmware and do a secure wipe and fresh install - sounded good to me! So I watched her, and immediately she just erased my disk - which btw was named 'unknown', she didn't open any of the containers and delete each volume, she didn't choose a partition scheme, she didn't choose a file system format - I sat there in silence because I knew I'd just have to redo all that at home, again..., but that's not a big deal. Then she did a fresh install and plugged my computer into some wooden thing on the table and left me sitting there for 2.5 hours. I figured well they're *hopefully* performing a purge-level erasure that meets the NIST 800-88 Purge erasure standards - like using blancco or some other software - there are many military grade algorithms that can perform this and software and I figured surely Apple isn't that cheap to not use something of this level, because having a keylogger (which is REALLY easy to install via software/malware) was also a great concern of mine. The malware completely corrupted the FileVault, my keychains all changed and I couldn't revert back to default, my permissions changed, the GUI was decimated so I had to do everything from the terminal, which I hate UNIX (thank goodness for Linus Torvalds) everything in /Library and ~/Library were just filled with scripts from multiple languages, it just went on and on the further I dug through the terminal. Also no one had heard of this malware so they would have no idea if it could affect my firmware which is why I went in. While waiting there, I heard some salesman tell a poor older woman that Macs are the most secure and I wanted to lean over and tell her to look up thunderstrike 2 and that was from 2015! Apple just constantly throws bs at people all the time about how "secure" they are. So finally a nice guy asks me if someone's helping me and I told him I've been sitting here with this cord connected to something for 2.5 hours, well nothing was happening the girl just forgot about me. Another nice guy comes over and tells me they can only do a basic diagnostics test. Took him about 2 min and I left. Good times.

Apple send an update to my phone then I lost my service. I contact Apple support they suggested me to go Apple store . I asked the store closing hours. support service told me they are closing at 6 pm. I come this store at 5:25 pm. They did not give me an appointment. He first said they are closing at 5:30. Then, I checked the are closing at 6 pm. Then, he told me they do not have enough technicians. After that he told me he can give an appointment for two days later. It is not acceptable.

Been going here since it opened. Staff is always friendly, never had a complaint. Parking sucks but that’s Uptown so deal with it. During peak seasons (iPhones releases and Christmas), the staff can be a little overwhelmed and a bit slower but this is normal everywhere. Despite the unhappy people of retail during these times, they are still very professional and happy to help. They will continue to have my business.

My iPhone's cellular data stopped working. After doing a full reset with Apple Care over the phone, they sent me to Knox. The "genius" there told me I had bent my phone and broken the internal antenna and for $329 they'd replace it. I called BS and went to a local repair place who sent me to T-Mobile where they replaced the SIM card, refreshed my network settings (whatever that means) and had me back in business in under 15 minutes. I'm just hoping this is a rogue/incompetent employee. Regardless, I'm very disappointed that their guy tried to blame the malfunction on me when my phone looks like new even after several years and it was really just his lack of knowledge/honesty.

I went in clueless...never owning ANY apple products before and I told her that. She could have cared less. I was fully prepared to spend a considerable amount of money yesterday. I was confused about why the MAC I was buying was so much cheaper than everything I had looked at online. Never once did she mention that I could get more storage or faster processor etc. I only know this now after talking to friends. I was given 2 options, air or pro. She did explain the difference was the PRO was better equipped to handle heavy software so that’s what I bought. She barely made eye contact and was completely uninterested in helping me. NEVER NOT ONCE did she try to sell me any additional products such as a case, cover, adapter or EVEN A MOUSE. Again, I have never owned Apple products and didn’t know what items I would need to purchase. Now I know how much easier these items would have made my life. Might I add that I live over an hour away from any Apple store so swinging back by to pick these items up is NO easy task. Also, My daughter was playing with an IPad and I expressed interest in purchasing one and was asking about the price. She gave me bare minimum. She did not even bother to walk with me to the iPad area when I began heading that way during our conversation. I even was asking about iPhones and again..bare minimum. It was incredibly obvious that she could care less about making any kind of sale because I was basically wanting to throw my money at the counter yesterday. She did ask if I wanted the apple care plan..I told her I didn’t know what it was. I got a response to the effect of it’s just a protection plan, you can buy it later if you want. She never even told me how much it was or what it was supposed to do or cover. So, I left there yesterday with no accessories, no mouse, no protective case, no care plan and truthfully I would have bought it all. Upon leaving, I want to the Verizon store nearby and bought myself the iPhone XS Max and bought my daughter the iPhone XR. Those are 2 sales you could have easily had if anyone would have been helpful or not completely uninterested in being there. Might I add that the representative at the Verizon store on Retail Road took his time to help us and actually cared about making a sale. We bought screen protectors and phone cases for us both BECAUSE he took the time to talk about accessories and why we needed to protect our investment. After reading this review you probably think I’m the type to complain about everything and I assure you, that could not be any further from the truth. I actually let too much roll off my back but that was unacceptable. This visit to this Apple store was very disappointing. Now I will have to find the time to drive another hour+ to purchase the items that should have been sold to me yesterday. I will not be purchasing these items at the store on Knox/Henderson.

Everything Ran smoothly and I had no issue being in and out in no time. The rude staff that I encountered at Knox, was the worst I have encountered in some time. If I was the CEO of Apple there would be a new staff on Monday, that would be trained in customer service, the staff now has forgotten what made apple what it is today. There only interest at Knox is selling you a new product, if you have problems with it , buy a new one. It’s great concept, but how long will you put up with that. My plan are to let Apple corporation CEO, know what I endured at this location, and I can only hope that they will make it better for you. ( if you were a dying person, with only 24 hours to live. Would you spend one hour of that time at Knox store. With a rude staff, they should treat everyone like this is their last hour.) Now that’s customer service, now don’t know if my comment will have any effect, but I sure hope it help you make a sound smart decision. Before going too Knox store. I had an online pickup to grab and what should have been a quick 5 minute ordeal turned into close to a half hour because the person helping me kept being grabbed by other customers for help. Super helpful tech and sales crew. This is a busy store, for sure. You can call their phone number - it’s with their Google Maps listing - and someone will get an appointment for anytime from tomorrow to next week. If your phone will need to be backed up before the techies work on your phone, and you don’t recall how to back it up, or you’ve never known how to do that, they’ll help you make that happen while you’re on the phone, so you can know you’re Phone’s backed up. If you want to hang out while the geniuses adjust your devices up a notch, some of Dallas’ best eats and shopping are right next door. Ps. If you’ve never been outside your Apple Store when it opens in the morning, lined up with your fellow customers, make your appointment for first thing after the store opens. Have coffee on the way, since you’ll to be awake.

First let me say this a 2 hour wait to get anything on your phone fixed is ridiculous and then they didn’t fix all my issues at once on my phone . It would be nice if they had more than 3 apple stores in the Area. This store was extremely crowded and uncomfortable. It looked like Christmas all the people crowded in the store. Makes you not even want a iPhone anymore. Service was good as far as the reps in the store but overall experience was horrible. I see a lot of unhappy people according to these reviews at this store but No one is doing anything to fix the store.

I didn’t like the location and the place is too crowded. You don’t feel welcomed and also very low on customer satisfaction. I bought an iPhone Xs and the women didn’t hand me a receipt, she said she mailed me on my email. Since i was on a travel visa i was would get the tax money back but when i wen to the tax free shop they said and e receipt does not work and so i lost out on 41 dollars.

I have had my att account for 5 years I walk in and ask to add a line to my account and the lady tells me she needs two forms of I’d and a bill in my name I pull up my bill and she says it needs to be a paper bill. I have had my account opened for 5 years I was simply adding a line. I have never experienced this type of treatment. The caucasian lady next to me added a line with no problem at all. I sincerely hope I didn’t receive this type of treatment because of the color of my skin. I recommend that they check their policy because they are wrong

My new favorite store! So I recently bought myself a Mac to take my editing to a new level right? Wrong, I literally knew how to do nothing. I couldn’t even scroll lol. After a while i figured out how to edit my videos, but i had no idea how to manage my cloud. I finally decided to go to my local apple store to see if they could help me with a few things and let me just say BLUE WAS AMAZING!! He walked me through my cloud, introduced me to new features and even gave my whining toddler a iPad and pen that kept her quiet! I walked away feeling more confident, and even more happier that they offer free classes catered to any category you can think of! Thank you!

Got me some AirPods 2’s here. I feel sorry for the people with AirPods 1’s - it’s got to be embarrassing being seen wearing those around town! This was a pickup order at the end of the night during the week and the staff knew exactly what to do. I did have to wait behind another guest who took a while, probably longer than they should have, and mine was just a scan-and-check-ID process that took 5 seconds. Got a iPhone 6s and within in the first week I’ve been having issues with dropped calls, the volume of calls cutting in and out, messages not sending half the time and the phone freezing from time to time. Well I’ve opened maybe 10 cases and talked to several specialist. From which they strung out the time to fix my phone until past my Warranty. For example one specialist we talked back and forth for a month or so and once the issue on my phone remained after trying one step to fix it I get blown off and my emails and calls not responded to nor answered. I’ve been dealing with this for over a year and have come up to the store several times to try to get it fixed to just get blown off and told oh try this and come back. Over the time I’ve looked up ways on YouTube to actually try to help fix my phone since customer service never helped and I fixed the freezing and found a way to make the dropped calls less by turning my LTE off in general. However there is still issues and now I’m being told by customer service pretty much oh well, and how I’m screwed and just need to buy another phone when I just paid 600 for this phone.... I feel like I got screwed out of my money and this whole process has been so frustrating and the most ridiculous experience with Apple that I most likely won’t be an Apple user anymore. When I had my iPhone 5s it was the best phone I’ve ever had but once I got my 6 it all went downhill. I will make sure my experience with apple is shown on social media.
