Neat place, I'll record myself in the booth next time.
Beautiful poetry night in the blue room. Even got a pic with the beautiful and talented Ms. Caroline Randall Williams
Just a cool atmosphere. Got some nice stuff, for not a ton of money.
For $20, you should definitely try their recording booth - use their in-house guitar and record straight to vinyl. Really cool place with lots of obscure Jack White merch.
Jack White's neat little record store and recording studio. Love the vibes.
One of the koolest places I've been in 2019. Thoroughly impressed at the amount of merch available!
Nothing special at all, tiny with not much to offer.
The REAL happiest place on earth. Coolest record shop there is, point blank. Jack White has created something no one else could. You must go to this place.
Out of town friends were very happy to visit this iconic place!
Cool place. Small but lots of neat things.
If you love The White Stripes, Raconteurs, and Jack White...this is the place for you. If you love vinyl and good music, a great place to find specialty selections. Quirky and amusing. Excellent staff who is very helpful and kind. Great customer service.
Great little shop with a unique selection of vinyl.
Awesome place! Well worth stopping by!
A great place to stop and see modern and vintage music items.
As a fan of record collecting and Jack White, this is one of my favorite stores I've ever been to. If you like vinyl, music, or novelties and nick-knacks, then you'll love this place.
Cut your own record in the booth!!! Such a great time
They’ve got a little recording booth where you can make your own vinyl records. So cool!
I mean, it's Jack Whites place. Great place to check out if you live here or you're just visiting.
If you are Jack white fan or white stripes fan you have to visit this place. The store has all kind of souvenirs, from t-shirts to books. You can find special edition on game or legos. If you love music you can find unique music edition on vinyl. They also have a small tour of the record place, you need to ask for it. This is also a place for venues but you need to check their social media.
Cool place. Staff super friendly and very helpful
Interesting little shop, but that's about it unless you are there on a weekend when they give out tours of the facility. Nice selection of vinyl that's pressed on-site and other various Third Man branded items. Small, but jam packed full of stuff. Wasn't sure what to expect, but worth checking out nonetheless.
Interesting place. You can even record a short vinyl record.
Well curated label and interesting accessories. You won't find stuff not on third man records there, but we'll worth the stop even if you aren't familiar with the label. Very cool decor and vibe
Jack White's Third Man Record store loves up to the hype. It's kind of small but you will find quality at every turn. There is vintage recording booths and equipment, vinyl records all over the place, threads scattered about and various misc goodies. I didn't catch a view of the man himself but that didn't make the trip any less special. If you dig Jack White or any of his various projects, then you gotta make this your first stop. Also the staff is awesome and very helpful, ask them about the listening booth!
This place is a record/jack white nerd Mecca! I had to go two days in a row. So much cool stuff to see and buy! Can’t wait to be back in this area again.
Awesome store, cool aesthetic, recording booth.
What an interesting place! If you love Jack Black, dont pass this place up!! Not in the best part of town though! Take the studio tour - a lot of cool facts and you get to see what goes on "behind closed doors" - from album cover design to recording to merch distribution! Limited space so go early and pay/sign up and be back @2pm for the tour.
A real treasure. Anything you could possibly be looking for that's remotely related to Jack White and his various endeavours may be found here - from records to sheet music & tabs to books to music equipment. Lots of great memorabilia to go with the well-curated assortment of music. There's a listening booth to preview 45s, as well as a record-your-own recording booth for $20.
Coolest place everyone should stop in and see.
Awesome place. Got a tour from the co-founder. Inspiring.
Very interesting place, good eclectic record selections.
small shop but my o my what a nice collection. bought 2 charley patton albims that i still missed and 2 other albums . highley recomended .. if you not sure its for you.. take a look at the webshop... but peraonely i think going through the rows of vinyl is way more fun
Great place so don't let the difficult parking keep you from stopping in. Listed edition live recordings from some great artists and plenty of Jack White related collectibles. The wen at the counter were very nice and very professional. A classy place to check out music.
Interesting place smaller than I thought it would be. The collectible guitar machine was broken which definetly was a shame Not a great area but a cool place
Amazing curated place with lovely staff! A dream come true!
The White Stripes was my first concert. Walking into Third Man Records was a total nerd out nostalgia moment. Record a vinyl in a booth, use the wax figurine machine to make Jacks red and white guitar, jump into the vinyl listening booth, and buy all the fan gear your heart desires!
Cool little shop. Live band recording while were there. Everyone looked to be having a great time. Bought 3 - 45s and some swag.
It’s a cool shop to stop by and take in everything. I should have done the tour but I enjoyed stopping by!
The coolest place to visit in Nashville, I highly recommend to anyone who likes music period. The staff are extremely friendly and eager to help. I will definitely be making regular trips to Nashville just to visit this store...
It looks really cool, but wouldn’t really call it a record shop so much as a vanity project.
Very cool!! Not nearly as big as the one in Detroit, but still very cool.
Small quaint place with quite a few vinyls available to buy. Some neat historical musician items in there. They let us hold the Grammy and get our picture taken! That was cool
Best shop ever. Jack White is one of the reasons I'm ever happy.
From floor to ceiling and wall to wall, the place will enchant the kid in us all. With its trinkets and baubles and hidden, secret halls, Third Man Records has sort of got it all. But one thing you should know before you arrive, your turntable’s not dead, friends, it’s very much alive.
We took the tour and it was way worth it. An interesting look behind the scenes at an interesting enterprise. The guide was knowledgeable (she's been at Third Man for six years), and she seemed as excited to talk about it as if it was brand new to her. We got to hear about what was currently in the works, and it didn't feel at all like a canned speil. You get to see pretty much the entire facility, and if there is a band recording you get to look in on that as well. Questions are encouraged and answered happily. The store itself is cool, though small. Even if you don't get in on the tour, at least stop by the store. Get there before the store opens to get tickets for the tour. The website says limited to ten, but there were twelve on ours. The recording booth is super cool as well, and my fiance and I have a cherished memory from it.
Great little record shop with super friendly staff. They have a very select genre of music but still a great place to stop by and browse.
A great stop for any fan of Jack White’s works. The selection of Blue Room records is exceptional. The only thing that would have made my visit better is if I could have picked up a copy of Consolers of the Lonely.
Not too big of a shop, but really fun to hang out and shop. Definitely worth a drop by.
Oh man this is one cool little record shop. Loved looking at all the old recording equipment and the recording booths.
Such a fun, cool, and unique place to visit when in Nashville. The style was amazing. Had such a good time looking through the records available.
Cool spot with access to a wide range of Third Man Records releases. Staff was super knowledgeable about the collection. They had way cooler trinkets and accessories than you would guess. It is a very small space that is incredibly popular so plan a bit of extra time to dig through records. The prices are incredibly fair. I was going to buy a stack of 7s and the person at the counter pointed out if I grabbed one more it would be $1 which was an awesome surprise.
Third man is a complete thought, with evident attention to details and a many faceted personality. The label is raising the vibration, and their infusion of energy has yielded beautiful progress with astounding frequency. Bravo!
Always a great time. The friendships brought about by the existence of this place are what makes it so damn meaningful.
It's everything you could possibly expect from the business-y mind of Jack White.
Hands down my favourite record store. I’ve seen this place grow over the years. The first time I went I thought I would be intimidated by an indie record store staff. Not at all. Everyone is so helpful. Third Man in Nashville is the Holy Land for me... thank you Jack White and friends...
Great space to see a gig, polite staff, good sound, attentive crowd (julia jacklin show). But...noisy bartender , crashing and smashing the the ice and loud voice during a mainly lo fi quiet performance.
Amazing cool stuff. Was disappointed some of the novelties weren't in working order.
Not your average record shop! A fun place to pick up some new music. A mix of new and classic, you'll spend time just discovering all of the fun vintage machines. Also a recording studio, so you may see a band heading in or out.
A very cool venue with never bad view. The staff is super nice and very helpful. They seem to know the regulars and we'll help when they are handicap that the time with crutches. The security is also up on very drunk people that need to get the hell out
Really cool place to stop by for a visit, a tour, or just gift shop. They sell lots of live albums recorded direct to acetate.
This is a pretty awesome record shop. It's in an odd area, but don't let that discourage you from stopping by if you're interested. We walked here after getting brunch and browsed around a bit. The prices are fair and we found a couple of things that we had been looking for. I'm not a vinyl enthusiast by an means, but don't mind picking them up if it's something that I truly enjoy. I'm not sure that you'll find anything super rare here and that isn't anything that I would generally pay attention to. I tend to like newer music and that's what I look for when I'm in a record shop. I couldn't tell you if they had any hard to find albums, but they had a few things that I was interested in and decided to purchase. The interior of the shop is pretty awesome. There are a few different rooms to wander through and some really cool memorabilia throughout the building.
A great souvenir shop with unique offerings. I often take visitors there when they come to town.
Unique record buying experience we enjoyed sharing w our three year old son
Such a cool place with reasonably priced records. My boyfriend recorded his own (2 and a half minute) record for $20 bucks, which is such a unique thing to do.
Excellent experience. One of our favorite stops on a 2 week trip. Go early for tour tickets! Our tour guide Jess was great.
My mecca, my home away from home. If you love anything Jack White/White Stripes related you HAVE to stop here. This location is beautiful, comfy and full of so much music and history. The staff are always amazing as well. Thank you for all that you do!
Coolest place! Really NICE people, old school recording booth is beyond awesome..the history and star factor of that machine is unmatched. My 8yo daughter was treated like a queen for her recording. Can't thank the staff enough for the experience. You guys made my daughter's trip truely special and memorable. Can't express here my gratitude. One of our last stops in Nashville but the lady who helped us was so great. Thanks a million!
Such a cool and unique place to catch a show or movie and the gift shop is awesome! Love the staff- very sweet people <3
Super cool place!! If you're a fan of Jack White or the White Stripes then this is a must see place. Very cool decor and some awesome time capsule items like a recording booth from decades ago.
always a pleasure. there was a guitar and amp set up in the back where you can try out various pedals for sale. did you know you could buy lip balm? onesies for your baby? too much fun to be had.
Such a cool, eclectic shop! Exactly what I'd envision Jack would build. Perfect!
JFW! He was best in the Go but his other bands are pretty decent
A gem of a record store. Not only a museum of Jack White's triumphs, but an actual record store with good music! Playful and kitschy.
A must see while in Nashville especially with teens. Kitchy cool shop. Jack White just happened to be there while we were there this time around. There were 4 guys crammed around the recording booth singing their hearts out cutting a vinyl.
Fun to stop in an take a look around , I really appericte the preservation of history.
We went for the tour- ages 61-19 yrs old, and it was amazing. My daughter, who wanted togo on the tour is in a LA band, so she is familiar with the industry and enjoyed it immensely! Angelina, our tour leader, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and truly has a passion for the industry. It is rare to find a tour guide of Angelina’s caliper that gives information that everyone can enjoy. I am excited to sign up for the “club,” which I had no idea existed and surprise my daughter with the packs as they are released. Angelina—keep up with the passion you possess—it is an inspiration!
Cool place for buying vinyl and other music related merchandise! Lot's of cool retro and antique items. Great vibes!!
Nice little storefront for lovers of music and Jack white alike. The store could use a bit of expansion and additional times for studio tours could be useful for patrons.
