I originally didn't even want a photographer for our wedding. My wife insisted and I went along with the idea. Tory from Studio Blu met with my wife and I once we arrived in Sioux Falls (we live in Orlando, FL). He wanted to get a feel for what we had in mind for the wedding and took careful note of the important pictures that we wanted to be sure to take. On the day of the wedding, Tory arrived much earlier than us to scout out potentially beautiful and creative spots near our venue to sneak off and get some wonderful pictures. Tory and his wife Michelle were absolutely wonderful. We have the pictures of our families and friends that we knew we wanted but more importantly, he captures incredible memories: my wife and I holding hands as we spoke our vows, me dancing with my mother, my wife dancing with her father, the speeches given at dinner and nearly countless moments throughout the night of our guests having an absolute blast. Getting a photographer, and specifically the professionals from Studio Blu, is a decision I would agree with again in a heartbeat.

Studio Blu is amazing; I would recommend Walter and Holly a hundred times over! They went far beyond just our wedding photographers - they were a mini support system leading up to our wedding day. If we needed advice on other vendors, Walter would always recommend us with the best. They are seasoned photographers and required zero direction. The day of our wedding, they were with us from the beginning taking care of details and going above and beyond the meaning of photographers. I haven't even gotten to the photos; we are so happy with them and couldn’t have asked for better! It was a windy day, but our photos still turned out amazing due to their creativity. My wife and I have known Walter and Holly, Studio Blu, for several years. A few years prior to our own wedding, we witnessed Studio Blu in action at our Friends’ wedding. The way Studio Blu handled the day blew us away because it did not feel like a process or production. Absolutely amazing!!! We could not have been more pleased with Studio Blu! We threw a surprise wedding and Walter and Holly were amongst the very few that knew our surprise before the big night. They made all our hopes and dreams come true! We only meet with Walter and Holly a few times before our big day but, on the day I felt as though I had ESP with them! I could simply look at Holly and she seemed to know exactly what I was thinking without me ever opening my mouth which in our situation was priceless!! I can't even put into words what amazing feed back we have received about our pictures and videos from that day!! The video is worth every penny, everytime I watch it I end up right back in the moment and crying happy tears! I would recommend them to anyone!!

Walter and Holly photographed our wedding in September as well as shot some video and manned Linus, their photo (blu)th at the reception. They had a huge part in making our day so special and it definitely wouldn't have been the same without them! They were attentive to all of our family's needs and did way more than any photographers would normally do! We weren't sure at first about having a video done and debated about having Linus at the reception. I will say we have never regretted having them do it all! The quality and detail that they put into everything was absolutely amazing! The guests had so much fun with Linus at the wedding and even better we were all able to have access to the photos and a short video of it after! I awoke on my wedding day to a sight that I had been hoping I wouldn't, clouds and rain. The clouds and rain stayed all day long, however, our spirits were high and I thank Studio Blu crew for that. When I arrived at the farm where we were having our wedding, I saw Walter and Holly running around making sure everything was perfect, now how often are your photographers helping family with last minute details? They both did a fantastic job of making sure my wife was in high spirits and we almost forgot it was raining! They had the smarts to have plenty of extra umbrellas so when it came time to get grandma and grandpa to the barn for photos, grandmas hair was a perfect as it was when she showed up! Our photos turned out amazing, these guys have the best eye not only for traditional shots but also for some out of the box shots, some of Walter's "crazy ideas" turned out to be our favorite photos. If I had to do the best day of my life over, I wouldn't change a thing, including the rain, or the wonderful photographers we chose.
