don't let them buy your camera because you won't receive money and you got to wait for a check in the mail and it could take up to one week or more

I was visiting from out of state in February 2017 and had a problem with my Canon camera. Marty checked out my issue, and reassured me that the problem wouldn't impact taking some really important family shots the next day. It was so nice to talk to a knowledgable, friendly and kind man when I was so worried! I was able to purchase an accessory for my camera that my own local shop doesn't carry and was very impressed by the selection at Harold's.

The two girls at the back table took one look at my old Kodak 120 camera and wouldn’t even let me ask my question; they insisted they would not be able to help me and that the only employee who could was off for days. I am sure they could have helped me find the simple part I am searching for if they had let me converse with them. Not ambitious sales people, uninspiring and unhelpful. Did not want to interact with me. How sad, because I was so excited and had heard good things about Harold’s. They better hope this Marty employee never retires.

I would give a higher rating if not for the manager treating me like my concerns about the photo didn't matter very rude and disrespectful. He wanted to charge me more money to make the picture the way I wanted it also no one notice that my daughter's eyes were closed until I finally got to go back and talk to the person who did the work on the picture. She was the only one that made me feel like it mattered how the picture looked.

I am very disappointed by the customer service I received. I live an 1-1/2 away wanted to give a local company my business rather than shopping online. We were going to purchase a Nikon D7500 camera along with 3 expensive lenses including the New Tameron lense ($650). A $2600 purchase! The gentleman working was unwilling to contact a manager who was not in the store at the time. All we wanted was a bag thrown in since we found the same camera online that came with a bunch of items incl. The same camera, a Nikon bag, 64G memory card, tripod, etc for the same price. A cheaper Nikon D3400 at Harolds Photo, came with a bag but they were not willing to throw one in for our $2600 purchase. I called the store today, to speak to a manager, and spoke to the General Manager, David, who was very sarcastic with me telling me they "should just start wheeling and dealing more, to make us happy!" Instead of trying to make the situation better, he made it much worse! I had enough of his sarcastic behavior and hung up on him! Not only did they loose the sale on a camera and 3 lenses, but after speaking to the GM David, they have lost any future business with us if we ever decided we wanted to upgrade our camera or purchase any other lenses! I am very disappointed and will not ever shop at Harolds Photo because of his rude behavior!
