Don’t waste your time or money. Website clearly advertises on-site retouching, however we were told after the photo session that this location didn’t have the software to provide that service. Very disappointed. The studio is also very dirty and our photographer (and the studio) smelled like smoke. Certainly not the experience or photo quality we were expecting. I strongly recommend going somewhere else for photographs.

We went last year to get my son's pictures done and we had an appointment set up for 10 in the morning I believe. We didn't take his pictures until 3:30pm. In total we spent there 8 hours. My son had a few meltdowns while waiting and got only a few pictures to pick from. I got in touch with the manager at the Mayfair location. She gave us a coupon to redeem within a year we'll we just went today and they didn't want to redeem it even though it was still valid. I'm so upset about it. I would not recommend this location at all. The lady in charge is really rude as well.

Absolute waste of time I could've done better taking pictures of my son in our living room. the photographer was very dry with his personality didn't even introduce himself to us seemed to have had little to no experience with children didn't try very hard to sway my son into behaving or cooperating for the pictures; although he's my child ultimately I thought he'd grab a toy etc to get his attention. Unfortunately we chose to end the session because it was going nowhere. I'm still currently waiting for a callback from Andrea the district manager to refund my money from an online purchase done last week Sunday that I was missed lead about by the supervisor Adriana Rodriguez. I have no problem complementing people when they give great service ,but this was just flat out average service and a waste of time! now I understand why it has so many poor ratings!

I have nothing but praise for the team of Adrian and Chelle! I have a special needs son that absolutely refuses to have his picture made, let alone smile for one! They were able to capture the most amazing pictures of my kids! I was nearly in tears watching them and seeing my son there giggling and smiling during the whole shoot! These ladies are straight up professionals and I WILL return for more pictures with my family! If you are considering having your portraits made anywhere else, you are making a HUGE mistake!

Believe the 1 start reviews, the experience is bad. The pictures that are taken are only okay. For the price they charge for the end result, the photographer should be able to catch some shots that actually look decent but the pictures just look "meh". With this location being in a baby store, the staff should have special training in babies/young children and be able to catch the good shots where all kids look happy, even if they're not looking at the camera. We are part of the Rewards Club because the Green Bay mall location is amazing and we thought that all other places would be that professional and up to the same standard. Nope. We'll drive 2 hours to get good pictures where the photographer will listen to our requests for candids that look genuine and not posed rather than her commenting about how our newborn is crying. Also, the fact that we come back to the same location on a regular basis (hoping for a better experience) and develop a relationship with the staff should mean something, not just the rules enforced when you saw we had photos scheduled 2 weeks out and didn't mention that it needs to be 30 days between Reward Club coupons being used. Instead, we have to go to the website and look up the code for the deal that they knew off the top of their head. It's called customer service, and theirs is not good. We've given them multiple chances with the same disappointing result, we won't be back to this location.

Terrible experience! Cheap prices but not worth it if you want any decent pictures. The lady was the only one there and kept walking away to take phone calls, then wouldn't take any more pictures bc "our session was over" even though she spent half of it on the phone. Even when reviewing the pictures on the computer I did the edits myself bc she, once again, was on the phone. Completely awful experience! I will never go there again! If you want a photographer that actually pays attention to your family while doing a photo shoot, and you want more that 3 decent picture.. I DO NOT RECOMEND GOING HERE

The pictures came out nice and the price for a CD was acceptable, however; I was overcharged by a second transaction that I never made. It took 3 weeks of me calling the store and finally reaching out via there FACEBOOK PAGE before I was able to get the district manager involved (who I never actually spoke to myself). Finally, I was told that the refund was submitted a couple days prior, and that somebody should have called me to tell me this (keep in mind this is still WEEKS after I was initially overcharged). I called my bank who showed no record of receiving a refund. The next day, I called my bank again so they could dispute it and they showed the refund was submitted finally. Basically, they lied to me. I will never use their services again.

This place needs to be shut down! Our appointment was scheduled for 9:40 this morning and we left there at 12:10 WITH NO PICTURES. After waiting 40 minutes we finally got in to start our session at 10:20. After our shoot (10:40), we were told we had to wait 20 minutes for the pictures to upload. Why on earth it would take 20 minutes to upload 20 pictures is beyond me. By this time, they were so overbooked and behind schedule, there were 5 different families waiting for their appointments. The woman who appeared to be in charge was hiding in a little office where the photos are printed instead of helping people check in or pick what package they want to purchase. So after dickin around for 20 minutes, we go back to see our pictures and have to wait another 15 minutes before someone can help us. So we go through and pick the ones we want, trying to figure out which package we want, and once we decide, we're sitting there for another 20 minutes waiting for one of the two associates to come out. One was shooting photos, the other was hiding in her little room. I was so agitated that we spent that much time there, that we finally just got up and left. Believe all the 1 star reviews, this place absolutely blows.

Where do I start? First, our session was double booked but they called me to reschedule for May 2 which I appreciated. When we arrived we had to wait 45 min for our session to begin (they had one person working: doing both the photography, developing, and sales), so it wasn't really her fault we had to wait so long. Our session was as expected for a picture people quality (you pay for what you get); however their print wasn't printing 10x13 prints (which I needed) but the manager Joni (who arrived by this time) said I could still order a 10x13 print and she would get it printed over at Mayfaire the NEXT DAY, and then call me when it was finished. We waited for two hours for them to try and print the rest of my order. I eventually asked if I could just come back another time to pick them up. They called a few days later and said my prints were in so I picked them up but my 10x13 print was not included (the girl who gave them to me had no clue I had a print missing), so she said she would call me when it was ready. A week went by and I called them because I hadn't heard anything; got the manager and she said she was going to print it the NEXT DAY (it has now been a week and a half since my session). Another week goes by I call them again and she said they tried to call me (I never received a voice-mail) because they lost my order slip and didn't know what print I wanted for my 10x13 so they printed TWO copies of two different shots (why two of each. really?) neither of the shots they chose was the one I needed, so she said they would print the shot I needed and fedex it to me so I didn't have to keep coming into the store (the manager took down my address). A few days later I get a call saying my print was ready and to call them with my address if I wanted them to send it to me. I call and get the manager again and tell her that she should already have my address because she took it down last time I talked to her, she said she sent it YESTERDAY (May 7th) and she threw in a picture cd (which was only a 10x13 print on a cd). I didn't receive it for a while but thought maybe they did standard shipping and it might take 7-10 business days. I received it May 18th and the shipping date on the package said May 16th (a week and a half after I had talked to Joni and she said she shipped it out). In the end, I will never go to picture people again thanks to the manager and how she handled things. I tried to give grace because their printer wasn't working, but that means you need to step up your game even more and keep things in order. Horrible customer service (I was the one doing most of the follow up), she lied, the wait time for my session was unacceptable with a newborn and toddler, and general communication was horrible.

We visited this location to have family portraits made for Christmas. There were 5 adults and 1 infant. The photographer, Ashley Epps, and the assistant, Amber McGlone, went above and beyond to meet our requests for the pictures. They changed backgrounds, they made signs, they changed props according to our requests, they joined in the family effort to get the baby to smile and they spent over an hour with us. We were thrilled with our customer service. We used a picture package we purchased through Costco and there was no high pressure sales to buy more than what was included in our package. This was our first time using this location and would not hesitate to return. Our appointment was on a Sunday afternoon.

We were the first appointment so we wouldn’t have to be here for more than an hour-an hour and a half. We’ve now been here 2 hours and 15 minutes with nothing in hand as of yet. Only reason I gave 3 stars is because the staff is nice and recognized the absurd wait and gave us some free pictures. 2.5 hours with 4 kids isn’t worth the trouble to get the pictures.

Took our family Christmas photos here and the staff was amazing!!!! They let us change before photos in the room ( luckily because I didn't want outfits messed up before ) they helped keep our 5 month old daughter happy ... I can't even fully express how great they are with kids! I would highly recommend them

Took family in for a portrait to this location and had a pleasant experience. Rachel was our photographer and she was really nice and professional. The photographer captured some really amazing photos and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely be back for the next family photo.

For my fussy 2.5 year old, she knows how to make her smile and get great shots - so happy. I have been to other Picture People appointments and the ladies here don't compare, love this team and happy I can request Asia again. :-)

We have many great experiences but recently every visit they are behind...Plan on spending at least 2 hours for a 15 minute session...Additionally the picture quality in our last session was awful. I was told I would get a call back yesterday surrounding if they could fix our images we paid $200 for and I am still waiting and today no one is answering at the location. We will not be going back.

The convenience can't be beat and it's a great option when you don't want to spend a ton hiring a photographer. BUT we frequently feel rushed with only 30 minutes to get the pictures we want (especially with young children!) And then we frequently end up being there for hours overall waiting for our pictures/digital copy. We've also had a couple of times when we got home and the disc was blank or the photos needed lots of editing. I also wish they would have a large mirror behind the photographer so you could see and adjust your pose/smooth hair/ arrange clothes etc.

Had my sons Christmas photos done today and the photographer did amazing! My son loved her. They had so many different props and backdrops to choose from. The prices were a little high but they had packages that were affordable. Definitely going back to get more done soon. 4 stars because the wait for my pics was kinda long

15 minutes of snapping pics, 90 minutes of waiting for them to print off. THEN the photographer apologized and said she'd print out extra pictures for my wait. I was very thankful, but when she gave me the finished products, there was only the amount I paid for! She insisted there were more there, so I made her count. She apologized again and said she'd give me a 50% off coupon for my wait instead. I was thankful again, but then she never came out to give me the coupon! She just continued taking the next customer's photos... Hoping I'd leave. I interrupted and asked about the coupon. She said she didn't have it and would just leave a note for management. Right. Her name was Jasmine. Kind young girl, but EXTREMELY unprofessional. Pictures were so so. I only printed off two of the shots... $60. Overpriced.

Came in at 5:39pm to buy pictures I had previously taken. Waited patiently in line 10 minutes before someone asked me what I needed to help with. Let the associate know and the store manager, Preshan Keaton, said they closed at 6 and I couldnt view and purchase pics today and they had to finish the customers they had. I said I’ve already been waiting 10 minutes?it’s no problem I can wait. She still said I couldnt buy pics and to come back tomorrow. She should’ve been more accommodating considering I was already waiting patiently for them to finish with the other customers. Horrible customer service and horrible conflict resolution. Quite lazy if you ask me,because what’s a few more minutes of your time that you’re already being paid for? And I already knew what pics I wanted so it would’ve been quick. Lost a faithful paying customer.

I have my daughter's pic taken every year on her birthday (9-17). I am a stickler for making sure they are on her birthday. I live in Atlanta but was in SC for her birthday b/c my parents live there. The PP in Atlanta is good. This one not so much. The photographer simply had no talent. Usually, my daughter is very photogenic. Her pics turned out pretty bad. She is washed out and sallow in the pics. The backdrops the photographer chose were awful. I trusted her judgement while taking the pics b/c I thought she knew what she was doing. She didn't use any lighting. It was pretty bad plus it took a ridiculous amount of time to finalize and leave. They kept blaming technical issues. I still bought the electronic copy only b/c I'd rather have bad pics on her birthday than great ones the day after b/c I want to look back in many years and know it was how she was on her birthday. Definitely will not be back.

The 5 stars is for Daniel Vasquez. My 8 month old is going through a stranger anxiety phase and I was worried we wouldn’t get any pictures worth our time but Daniel was amazing . He was very calm , which helped me not stress out, patiently cajoled/ distracted my child into ‘posing’ and we came away with so many great shots! Picture people is lucky to have Daniel Vasquez. Facilities wise the ‘studio’ is quite small but the with the right photographer It didn’t matter !

The corporate office / franchisee needs to really know about the horrible customer care and general regard for the customers and how we are handled here. The woman or whatever working there double booked my session and failed to let me know and got mad when I asked if I should leave and come back - she stated she was the manger and there is no way in hell she should even be the janitor with her poor customer service - I got my kids all dressed up just got this lady to say “what do you want me to do” and proceed to hang up the phone DONT GO HERE

I was fairly disappointed in my experience at this Picture People location. I have been using Picture People for years, but always the locations inside malls. This location is located inside of BuyBuy Baby. It is tiny, there was barely enough room in the studio for the photographer and my child, much less the parents. There were props falling over all around, and the photographer rushed through, so we didn't get the range of great shots that I'm used to. Maybe they should work on organizing and not overbooking clients.

(Zero stars for first visit)My first experience with PP was very disappointing and frustrating for my daughter and I. We were so excited to have holiday and themed pictures made for my daughter's first child and my first and only grandson. The initial shoot was rushed and lacked personalization. It was awful. His body was not positioned and the props were poorly positioned. Our plan was to bless family members with photo's but we couldn't because the quality, postioning and presentaion was horrible. Also, the packages are not customer friendly or affordable. Marketing may want to mix poses on the sheets to provide selection and variety. Customers would greatly appreciate the consideration. 5 Stars for Chelle☆☆☆☆☆ So Today (12/26/17)we were in Buy Buy Baby and stopped by PP to request the corporate office number to discuss our disappointing experience. However, we were greeted with empthay and concern. Ms. Chelle compassionately asked if she could try to fix the issue and we agreed. Although we were not prepared to retake my grandson's pictures she convinced us to give her a chance to take some photos of him. Chelle was able to capture facial expressions and create some memorable pictures for us and I was pleased with her level of confidence working with infants. She used her skills as a mother and grandmother to keep the baby calm. Chelle is very professional and we could see and feel the Love she has for babies. While taking the pictures she made it apparent that she enjoys her job. She worked well with our little infant. She was able to retake pictures of Kingston with expressions and different props. Thanks for caring enough.

*** Thanks for spoiling my 5 months daughters FIRST Valentine ****. We spent at least 5-6 hours shopping VD dress for her and also shopped absolute match for us. Spent 2+ hours to make my daughter ready for picture session. At this age you have to follow there routine still we made sure that she is awake and fresh at the given time slot by making some alteration in her daily routine. We reached there fully dressed up. When we were about to go in, we realizes that we left her hair bands in the car. We requested if we can have 2 mins to get that quickly for which they gracefully said OK. After all it was her first VD and we didn't want to miss anything. That 2 min turned out to be cancellation of my time slot without informing me. There was a family sitting with no appointment and since I asked for 2 mins, they asked me if they can quickly get other family in. As a gentleman I said yes but I wasn't told doing that means giving up my slot. I was literally astonished when we came back only to be told that I gave up my time slot. When I questioned, why I wasn't told about it, they started the blame game that I was late for my appointment. After all this discussion my baby was asleep and that made it even worse. I AM NEVER GOING TO USE EVER for spoiling my daughters first VD. By the way when I asked if I can use my camera to take picture inside the store I was told by her that it will be a copyright infringement any where in the store premises. Then I went and spoke to few other store executive and they said its absolutely fine to take picture inside. You can sense what this executive was upto. ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING.
