Finding myself in a position to get a professional headshot done for work, I took to google to find out who was close by. After reading reviews and looking through photos on a couple of websites, I finally decided on Bazemore Studios. When I called to schedule the appointment, Bryan answered my questions and we agreed on a time that was only a couple of days away. I was a little nervous to be getting this photo done. I hate having my picture taken, and I usually avoid it at all costs. However, Dr. John Merrill recently performed a complete restoration of my teeth, and I am very proud of the work he did. He is opening a new practice, and I wanted to add a testimonial to his website, together with photos, to show my appreciation. To do this meant that I needed a good commercial photographer who would be willing to lead me through the process, as I tend to clam up in front of cameras and I see myself as the most unphotogenic person in the country. In searching for a photographer, I viewed numerous websites of professional photographers with various types of photographs, paying particular attention to close-up headshots. When I came to Bryan's website, I looked no further. I liked his photos and displays, and I thought they had an artistic quality that seemed to be missing in many of the photos that I had seen elsewhere. I thought that this is the photographer that I need. When I spoke with Bryan, I knew that I had made the right decision. He was attentive and understanding, and wanted my photos to turn out great, just as I did. He even understood my camera phobia and my excessive vanity. He really had to be a psychological counselor throughout the entire process! This was above and beyond the call of duty, but I’m sure it’s a necessity in his line of work. It was a pleasure to work with Bryan from the first time I spoke with him until I received my final shots. His home studio is comfortable and inviting, and is beautifully decorated, for which he proudly gives his wife all the credit. Bryan brings so much more to the table than just being an excellent photographer. He has good instincts and good ideas, and he brings artistic vision to his projects. But, in my opinion, what sets Bryan apart from many other commercial photographers is his personality and the way he treats his clients. He spoke to me as if I were a friend, rather than someone that he had just met. He is down to earth and funny, and he immediately put me at ease. He was always making me laugh, and, as a result, I got a lot of photos with great big smiles! I had more good photos from this one shoot than I have ever gotten before. In the past, I’ve had difficulty finding even one good photo out of all the photos taken at a photo shoot; however, with Bryan’s photos, I had difficulty picking out the best photos from all of the really good photos. It was a very positive experience.

I recently set up an appointment with Bryan to have acting head shots taken. This was my first photo shoot, and I was very unsure of how my photos would turn out. Nonetheless I proceeded with hiring Bryan to take my pictures. Prior to setting up this appointment with Bryan, I did my research. Out of every business I found during my research, I liked Bryan's work the best! When I arrived I was very impressed with Bryan's studio, and its location. It is located in a nice area in Charlotte, so I felt safe. The studio itself was very clean and chic. Bryan was very helpful and made me feel comfortable. If you are unsure of what look you are going for, which was true in my case, Bryan will show you different styles of photography to help choose which look works best for you. I will recommend Bazemore Studios to my family and friends (although after seeing my proofs they're already sold). I will definitely do business with Bazemore Studios in the future.

Excellent photographer with fantastic attention to detail such as arm placement, jaw angle, lighting etc. As an HR Manager, I understand the need to have a great headshot on any profile you might have (social media, LinkedIn, etc.) and would highly encourage anyone to invest in getting a professional headshot taken. As the world moves to online recruiting, a great headshot can make an immediate first impression. Don't settle for a selfie you took inside your car with your kids carseat in the back as the first point of reference a recruiter can see! There are just some details that your iPhone just cannot capture. Brian takes the time to listen in order to fully understand what you are looking for. He will take several shots and give you feedback on which poses will really make you stand out. Some of the poses may feel awkward at first but when you see it on camera, it's quite impressive. As someone else already mentioned on here, the only difficulty will be selecting which shots you actually like!

He is the consummate professional and has a warm, caring demeanor to go with it. He knew how to "style" me and the exact angles to take. When finished, I could view and tweak right away.
