I find it completely unacceptable that Fort Dorchester High School requires parents to use Prestige (Lifetouch) for their senior pictures. One reason is the price, and the other is that the service is horrible. I had my sons' pictures taken a month ago, and his proofs are still not available (online or postal mail). When I called Prestige to inquire about the status of the pictures, I was told that they were not ready, she could not give me a date that they would be ready, and told me that it was an "unreasonable expectation" to see my proofs in approximately 14 days. Although this is what it states on my session receipt: "Your proofs will be available to view online in approximately 14 days after your session". HUH?! Apparently they can't read their own receipts, and my request is NOT unreasonable. I can take my own sons' pictures- and I really wish that Fort Dorchester would allow us to use our own photographers. It's sad that so many people are getting gouged for crappy service, and mediocre photos. What a ripoff.

They lost a few of my daughter photos, but they did offer another session. I had a bad experience with them the first time, why would I go a second time. The advertising states 4 changes, but when we got there they said only three. Not a great company!

They lost my daughters photos, didn’t call back. My daughter missed having her photo placed in the yearbook. These schools need to let the parent use a photographer we trust. It’s January, my child took pictures in September and issue still not resolved. Horrible service...we spend money on hair make up and no photos.

These people are out to rip off every parent of a senior that they can! I wanted to get the "graduate" package for $269. I only wanted 1 pose instead of 2 (it is normally for 2). I wanted to swap out a 4X5 sheet for a 5X7 sheet. So I was getting no additional sheets and dropping one pose! They wanted to charge ME an additional $15! They won't listen to reason and just say, "sorry, but that is our policy". This company is awful! Gauging families of seniors! They ought to be ashamed of themselves! Don't buy anything from them! Go to your local photographer!

I have to say Prestige was amazing! Let me say first Darby was not in the mood to even go for pictures she has Autism.I was not expecting much for her senior pictures. We went early and I told them what we needed. They got us right in. Tom took her pictures Chelsey, Haley and Kiley all helped moved us through the outfit changes and paperwork quickly. I believe that was the fastest they have ever had to get pictures done less than 20min. for casual, drape and cap/gown. My daughter gets agitated very easily when there is too much going on. She cannot focus. Tom took my advise and let me help her though and he got fantastic pictures! Thanks so much for making what could have been very stressful a pleasure! Looking forward to next year with my other daughter.

I was very disappointed with the photography services. My daughter had a "set" appointment, but when I signed in, it was like a free for all. No regard for appointment. There was not enough space for the parents and kids to sit in the second waiting area. The parents had to sit in the first waiting area and keep getting up and down to be with their kids. Instead of one photographer taking all photo shots at one time, the kids were in an assembly line. I was frustrated. My daughter was prepared to change into three additional outfits, but she had to wait 30 minutes or more between shots because several kids were there waiting. A television in the first waiting area was playing "teen" music videos. The music was a little loud, but tolerable. A video came on in which one of the singers mentioned the n-word several times in the lyrics. Unfortunately, I am a little old school and was slightly taken aback that the company did not screen the music that was being played. This is a public place frequented by families and ethnic groups of all types. Needless to say, I was embarrassed and ready to leave by that time. I drove several miles for this. Even the backgrounds for the photographs were dated, archaic, and drab. So glad that I won't have to do this again!

It boils down to this...they do not respect your time, they are poorly managed and it felt like nothing more than a cattle drive to make money off these graduating kids. I do not recommend them and am actually surprised the school districts still allow them to bid on their work. Choose wisely and go in with low to no expectations if you choose Prestige Portraits.

Senior pictures should be a happy occasion. But with Prestige Portraits it did not happen. I understand we were late, but we called and it was 12 minutes and it changed the whole mood for my daughter and instead of the ultimate session with 4 outfits we were forced to take standard package with 1 outfit. And then I couldn't go back with her because it was too crowded. Please schools go back to having the pictures done at the school and select a better company.

Let's start with prom.. My prom was April 21st, 2017 and I paid $30 for "professional" pictures that i still haven't received in now the last week of June. I forgot all about them until my date's mother reminded me! I'm 100% sure it doesn't take 3 months to develop pictures and send them out. School is out, who's still thinking about prom pictures??? I hope they weren't trying to scam me because that's exactly what it looks like. Second incident is I never received an appointment time to take my Senior Yearbook pictures (this part ISN'T their fault), so i called them twice a day for a whole week and still no answer (this IS their fault). I had to go on the actual head quarters website and speak to someone through a chat line who directed me back to the same number.... THEY FINALLY ANSWERED AFTER A WEEK!!! This location is horrible, unprofessional, and just a joke! I don't see how the schools work with this trash company! ZERO STARS ❌

I've been trying to contact them about my senior pictures for THREE DAYS and I've left a message on their answer machine TWICE and I haven't gotten any call backs or contact from them. I got their invitation to take senior pictures in the mail and so did my sister and we've been trying to get in contact with them to change the appointment since we will be out of the country during the appointment day. I've heard that they're pictures are pretty good and I wanted to work with this company for my senior pictures, but honestly nevermind.

I've been calling this company three times as i wanted to know when my son will be given his ID pictures taken on September 3rd. The lady who picked up the phone cannot answer my question and transferred me through their electronic voice that cannot understand the name of my child's school?! Then, after three attempts, the voice asks you to call them back?! Very nice to waste your time to find out about your purchase...

Very unhappy with the service and photos that were taken. The first time my daughter had an appointment the pictures were rushed and the photographer kept looking at her watch during the whole shoot. She even rolled her eyes when my daughter wanted to fix her hair. We made a second appointment for retakes and the second experience was even worse than the first one. The woman at the front desk was very sarcastic and rude. And again, the photographer was in a rush. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Waaay overpriced and substandard quality. It bothers me that a school will bring in an outfit like Prestige to do class portraits and there are no alternatives for the students/families. It allows Prestige to price gouge customers and get away with poor quality. What a racket. For the 3rd year in a row, Prestige has done the portraits for my daughters school and each year it's the same thing, over priced low quality pictures. At this point, we have decided not be buy any their pictures and will instead find a portrait studio on the outside who can do a far superior work and will provide us with a digital copy of the picture for us to use as we see fit.

I took my son to Prestige Portraits per his High School's instructions. I was not happy to drive from Conley, GA way out to Marietta, but I must say that we enjoyed working with Tom at the Marietta location of Prestige Portraits. He was very friendly and knew how to get the best out of a shot.Tom took command of every detail when taking the shots of my son. Tom seemed to really enjoy his work. Now, I must admit that we have only completed and paid for the "sit fee". I am a little nervous after reading the other reviews about this companyon the internet. So, at this point, I will rate them a "4". I will come back once we get the proofs and see what they will actually charge for the pictures.

Currently standing for my daughters 11:15am appointment and there’s no end to the wait in sight. This studio has overbooked so badly that they’ve literally ran out of seats. However, I witnessed them turn someone away for being beyond their 15 minute wait policy. They appear to have teens running the operation so of course there’s a lack of professionalism in place. I asked to speak with the manager and she sent one of the teens back to try and speak with me. This entire experience has been an unbelievable, unprofessional one. If I’m ever in need of photos this is the LAST place on earth I would return. Instead of apologizing for the 1 hour plus wait that’s occurring, they told me instead the Saturday is busy and walked off. After waiting 30 minutes the manager Racheal decided to grace me with her presence. No surprise she was just as unprofessional. Stay away!!!’

My daughter and I came here on a Saturday and the service and photographers were awesome. We got a standard package and were in and out within an hour and a half just like the website states! After reading the other reviews I was really nervous to come here but they exceeded my expectations considering how busy they were, we missed our appointment at the school which I’m sure a lot of others did too which is why they are so busy this time of year. The photographer that stood out to me the most was Brooke. She paid so much attention to detail you can tell she really knows what she is doing! If you go in with the right mindset that these people are in fact PEOPLE you will be more than happy with the experience (:

She made sure everything was how I wanted it and had no problem putting up with me being super picky. She was so nice and made me feel really comfortable in front of the camera. My daughter had her portrait done at her local school. The picture was horrible with her off center and with a scab on her forehead. We never received a proof or a final copy and had to manually request our picture. When we did we were very dissatisfied because she was hardly smiling and the picture was not touched up despite paying for that service. We called and were told that the deadline to retake the picture had passed - in fact the deadline for retake was included in the original picture which we never received. In order to remedy this situation we offered to drive an hour and a half to the studio (which would be a major inconvenience) to have her picture retaken for the yearbook. To this moment they refuse to retake the photo and my daughter looks terrible. This company is a fraud. There is ZERO customer service. They expect parents to “accept” a crappy picture because they are too lazy or incompetent to retake it. I’d like to explain to my daughter when she grows up why she looks so bad in her photo and say it’s because of a fraudulent horrible company who should be ashamed of themselves and do not deserve to be associated with a national company such as lifetouch. In summary if you want professionals look elsewhere. What a sad excuse for a company.

Time to call the better business bureau R I daughters senior pictures ware taking at East providence High school,first they gave her the wrong color of cap and gown because Mr photographer drop the gown on a poodle of water so instead or rescheduling no!!! he decides to gave her a different color.Then we add to retake the pics because there was no way my daughter would have senior picture in the wrong gown.Then 3 weeks go by we have no proofs .We email we call we keep getting the run around they cant find the proofs!!!!! Paid $30 to take my senior pics. (one outfit option) Took an hour and a half to get my first pictures with the outfit I brought from home. After I got done with those pictures, it took about another thirty minutes before I was able to put the cap and gown on. After another 30 minutes of waiting to take the cap and gown pics, we decided to reschedule since we had plans and didn't expect to spend almost 3 hours for senior pictures. Staff and management were clueless and unhelpful when asked how to reschedule our appointment. Probably won't end up getting senior pictures.

Tried to get in contact with them 5 separate times and finally got someone on the phone just for them to tell me I could not reschedule over the phone and I had to reschedule through Live chat. After seeing the reviews the morning of our appointment we almost turned around. When we arrived to the studio we were the first ones there 830 in the morning. Two other guys went before us because they only needed cap and gown and we needed to take several photos. From the time we walked in to the time we were back in our car was less than an hour. Very professional staff, clean office and several photographers multitasking. I'm definitely satisfied and no complaints here

I gave one star because there are no 'zero' star to give them. This place is a JOKE to say the least. There is no such thing called 'appointment'. They ask you to make appointment but they let people in for same time like opening a flood gate. So you get there and may be get a call in three hours if you're lucky. People at the front desk don't know what they are doing. So do yourself a favor, and give it a serious thought before deciding to go with them for your potraits.

Honestly Tom made the entire process worth dealing with the unorganized front and the cattling of kids. He rescued us and took care of my son perfectly. He has a great personality and is eager to do a great job. Which he did. There needs to be more management to make it seem less chaotic. Tom deserves all the praise for a job well done.

Photographer was so talented and the photos came out so beautifully! I loved having the options for my daughter to have 2 or 3 outfit choices, sports uniforms or instruments in photos, and since the photographer was so talented we got the best angles and styles. Very impressed!!

I invested almost 8 hrs in leaving work early(Mt.Pleasant) to drive 1.5 to pick my daughter up (Waterboro)then drive back to Summerville another .5 hr only to wait at their studio for 3 hrs! It was all fine even when my daughter came out and said “Dad are you okay ? Terrible experience! Helped my little sister get an appointment for her senior pictures and was on hold for A HALF HOUR! I got sick of waiting so I hung up and called again from the school Administrator phone line and they answered right away. The lady helped schedule my sisters appointment and we did the pictures, but over a month later we still don’t have the picture proofs and when we call, nobody answers! I had to call once again from administrator phone line but this time the woman is extremely rude saying it’s not her problem and she’ll connect me to customer service where I waited for 23 minutes on hold! Honestly so ridiculous our family will definitely not be doing business with them again!

They make appointments and confirm them the day before only to have you arrive and sit for 2 hours before you even take your first picture. My daughters and I have been here for four and a half hours at this point and still are not finished!!! Saying this place is slow is an understatement! Some of the staff have horrible attitudes and get upset if you ask how much longer.... Prestige get it together!!!!!

Company has a monopoly on the school district I was in and has been sending emails saying "your portraits will be deleted soon" for literal months. Did not see one adult who was not a photographer the entire time I was there, all the front desk employees are children. Unbelievably expensive. Something ridiculous like $45 for a single 8x5 photo print. For ONE! PRINT! No customizable package that allows you to select a reasonable amount of photos, only offers them in batches of 50-80 or something. A bunch of fools run this company and profit immensely off of families who want the memories of their children, in the case of graduation photos. Irritated.

We were there for FOUR hours to get senior pictures. The web site said to plan for 2.5. My suggestion - don't waste your time or money. Get the minimum for the yearbook and then SAVE YOURSELF the frustration and leave as soon as possible. Also BE SURE TO ASK FOR CAP AND GOWN FIRST SO YOU ARE NOT HELD HOSTAGE! It was a truly horrible experience.

We sat in the waiting room for over an hour, finally got called, took one round of pictures, then directed back to the waiting room and waited another 20 minutes to be called back in and then told to go back out.
