Mia is hands down the best photographer I have ever worked with. She has photographed our growing family starting with our Engagement session through our Wedding, multiple Maternity, New Born and Family sessions – we absolutely adore her and her work. She always comes prepared and helps make everyone feel comfortable from shy parents, to fussy toddlers and our fur babies! In addition to her wonderful presence, her work is stunning. Mia manages to capture the moment with an artful eye, we have her work throughout our home and receive numerous compliments on the quality of the photos. We could have not asked for better engagement pictures! Our engagement was a total surprise. My now fiancé was walking me down towards the light house at Gurneys in Newport and out of nowhere popped the question. Tears of joy immediately started running down my face. Little did I know that Mia was hiding taking pictures capturing our special moments the whole time! They were incredible and we were perfectly placed for the sunset. When I was developing/preparing my proposal plans for Alexa (2 months or so), I searched through Instagram and found Mia. I sent her a direct message that highlighted what I wanted to do, and if this would be something she would be interested in. Mia immediately replied that she would be happy to capture my surprise proposal. After exchanging a couple messages, she gave me a call to brainstorm with me ideas of what I could do. I really appreciate Mia working with me by providing insight and recommendations to the Newport area. Being from out of town, I knew generally what I was wanting to do, but with her guidance and expertise I was able to set in stone my plans and how I would pull it off. Leading up to the engagement, Mia and I remained in contact to discuss timing and logistics. A few days prior to our arrival, Mia went to scope out the area in order to find the right angles for her pictures, and where we should be in order to capture the sunset and lighthouse in background. She even sent pictures an hour before of an inconspicuous rock she laid out as my "marker" as the place to stand, facing the water. I was not able to go to the location where I would ask Alexa, so I am very thankful Mia made this as simple as it could be to find where I should go. Mia captured the surprised engagement very elegantly and beautifully. Afterwards, we took a series of photos around the proposal location and up near the resort we were staying at. Mia did a wonderful job capturing this moment after. Some were staged and others were candid of us just enjoying the most exciting moments of our lives. The next morning, I scheduled a private yacht cruise to relax and watch the sunrise from the water. I asked Mia if she would come along with us and take photos. She immediately said, absolutely! We had a blast celebrating with a few mimosas and Mia captured every second! Mia, thank you so much for investing so much into our lives and capturing a truly special time. I give my highest recommendation of Mia. Her work is stunning and will take you back to that place in time no matter how long it has been!

Mia was an wonderful wedding photographer. Prior to the wedding, we did an engagement session with her. She went above and beyond in picking out a number of really neat sites within a close distance of one another that lead to a really diverse collection of engagement photos that I love. Our wedding photos exceeded our expectations and that of our parents. We ended up with a rainy wedding day, but Mia managed to take phenomenal photos anyway. I feel lucky to have had a photographer that provided me with such a huge selection of amazing photographs. She managed to capture some very natural and special moments.
