When you realize you’re interviewing the third wedding photographer in a row who has referred to Cliff Mautner as “the best” or “their mentor” you start wondering why you’re still interviewing new firms. This was our exactly experience and only one of MANY reasons why we decided to book Cliff for our February 2013 wedding. He and his team are exactly what most couples want and need in a wedding photographer. Cliff was the only person who truly listened to our interests, was attentive to our requests and laid out a detailed plan of how he would provide the services we solicited. We had every confidence that Cliff would deliver and deliver he did. Cliff focused on capturing “moments” and “emotion” while telling the story of our wedding experience. His photos captured the deepest and most meaningful memories from our wedding; some of which were obvious and standard but most were the inconspicuous moments captured discreetly and expertly. The latter is where our investment in Cliff paid dividends and is why you want a skilled and professional artist like Cliff working your wedding. For a young couple on a budget, he was our splurge, our budget-breaker, our reckless decision and he was worth every penny.

Cliff was responsive & caring about our wedding from the first phone call. I don't think there was a time when we had a question where he didn't pick up or call us back within minutes. The level of service that came with our engagement photos to our wedding photos to our post wedding session with a horse was outstanding. He knew the right places & lighting in South Jersey as well as Philadelphia. From those shots to the classic shots under city hall and in the middle of broad st with city hall behind us, they were all done to perfection. We've framed several photos from all three sessions and they truly tie our home together. We will use him again for life events and recommend him to others after our great experience.
