As the first birthday rolled around, I realized I had a bunch of baby snapshots on my phone, but not a single decent image of our whole family. I had considered, on several occasions, hiring a photographer, but I always felt too busy, too harried, too preoccupied with the day-to-day work of parenting. But working with Serra turned out to be fun! She put us all at ease. We had a lovely outing to the park and we came away with the most beautiful images of our family which I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Here's the deal: Serra is awesome at what she does. Of course she knows how to take great photos, but she also knows how to corral a toddler, two active dogs and two adults for great family photos. I love working with her and plan to continue doing so.

Serra Hadsell of Serravision Photography did wonderful work on my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding photos last summer. Her artistry is apparent in every photo, and her appreciation of people enjoying themselves comes through in every one. She made us feel the couple’s story by choosing scenes that brought family and friends together for the special day. When it was time to try to choose photos for albums and portraits, she explained options and possibilities leading to beautiful, treasured, keepsakes of the day. This was possible even though I live across the country and could not be there in her studio to make decisions.
