I chose Eric John Photography in Salem after a Google search and reading other reviews. I've always wanted a professional headshot and felt he was the best person in the area to get what I wanted. On the day of the shoot, Eric and I engaged in a jovial conversation beforehand that put me at ease, which is always helpful when having a picture taken. I had one request of him: don't ask me to smile because every photo I've ever had taken where I'm smiling looked staged and fake ("say cheese"). But I was in such a good mood as our conversation continued during the shoot that he snapped a few genuine smiles. When the time came to select the best-looking professional headshot picture, wouldn't you know it, but my favorite is me smiling authentically. Eric John took the best picture of me that I've ever seen. I recommend Eric John Photography highly.
