Amazing studio. This was the I am enough teens empowerment day. Cobalt and various photographers donated their space and time. Wonderful staff super cute props and setting for photos. Book with them you will not regret it

I can’t stress enough how much I love shooting at Cobalt and how helpful and knowledgeable they are there . They have so many backdrops and lighting options , and the infinity wall is amazing. My favorite area is the boudoir & natural light section where you can either open up the roll up doors for “real” natural light , or use lifting behind the faux Windows for a natural liking look any time of the day . By far the most professional , versatile , and friendly studio I’ve shot at in PDX !

Had some professional headshots taken here. Nice space for a photo shoot. It’s setup nicely with a dressing room, makeup chairs and set. The space is decorated nicely and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended to rent for a shoot.

Cobalt Studios is by far one of the best studios in Portland that hosts a huge variety of studio ability. You can have your cool new car shot in studio or host a photography club. They host community events and support many causes in the PDX area. The owners are truly amazing people and can’t be recommended enough!

I just want to come on here and say that Cobalt studio is the most well ran studio in the buisness. They care about their models and speak out for unfair situations. Any 1 star on here you see is fake. I had the priviledge to work in their studio and felt safe, respected, supported and loved every moment of it. These are true professional who work their hardest to give the photography/modeling world a safe and amazing space to create in. The space itself is gorgeous with endless opportunities. I personally was lucky enough to know the owners before they created Cobalt Stuios, and let me tell you, this family is a blessing to this planet. They both are the most genuine, kind, and the strongest people i have ever met. They have such a beautiful story and I am blessed to be able to know them. So if you fortunate enough to be able to utalize this space or even just meet the owners, Please take up the opportunity. You will NOT regret it! The only thing you will regret, is not taking up this opportunity before they become too famous and their schdule will be booked. Cobalt Studios PDX is a blessing to the community that we should all be gratefull for.

The variety of shots you can get in that studio are crazy! It extremely well maintained. They open their doors to photographers and talent of all skill levels. I couldn’t have had a better experience at a Studio. I’ve done work there twice now, and both times the staff that were assisting us were not only kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and happy to work with us, but they made sure to go out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Both shoots went seamlessly thanks to the help of Cobalt. They were more than just a location, they were half the reason the shoot was a success! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

My daughter is a 16 year old model who has been using Cobalt Studios for about a year now. We have been so blown away by the care and true level of professionalism used by everyone in the studio. The protection for my young daughter allows me to know that she can perfect her craft in studio and not have any predators near her is worth the drive for us. The studio is secure and the owners make sure the pictures that are taken are very modest and in the end portray my daughter’s image in a way that we want her marketed. I am sooo grateful for Cobalt and will ONLY use Cobalt Studios in the Portland area. I have referred their studios to every teen/child model I have come in contact with as well, because we all have to know the best places to take our Kids too!

Amazing Studio. It is any photographer's dream play box. The studio is pretty big with a curved white wall (even cars were shot inside). It also has a loft above allowing over the top shots (like attached photos with ladies on the white background. Besides that it is set up with couple seamless papers available, beds, a full boudoir studio upstairs, bath tub, and so much more. Bill and Tammy (owners) genuinely wonderful people, they are photographers themselves, very knowledgeable about cameras and lighting and very helpful.

It sounds safe fun and as if the staff provides that extra safety and even helps make your photos come to life! I can’t wait to get in here and start making magic!

Safest studio in Portland! I am a mother of a 16 year old model and safety is my #1 priority. Not only does cobalt make sure she has a private dressing room even from the older female models, but they have very strict rules for photographers. Cobalt makes sure the photographers are held to a high standard. This way as a mother I can still research the photographers background as a parent with a young model should but I can count on Cobalt that they have done their research on them as well. I love how they are willing to loose business just so models and artists of all kinds can feel safe. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, they deserve a constellation.

Cobalt Studios can not be compared! It goes beyond just photography for them. Bill has an eye for making a moment come to life. The props and studio space are a dream. I've personally had photoshoots that range from Calvin Klein, Sin City inspired, and an LGBTQ+ photoshoot event to celebrate National Coming Out Day.
