The setting in their beautiful Victorian home/studio is inviting, relaxing and inspires us to "pose better." We can play during sessions and they capture us perfectly. Thank you! First session: Had a session with Kim a few weeks ago and could not be more pleased with the photos. She managed three babies like a pro and we're thrilled with the final product. Scheduling was easy and the selection session was fun and efficient. I'd highly recommend Kim and the studio. We will be back! Second session: Returned to Campbell Salgado for one-year portraits and am so in love with the shots. It was tough to narrow down, but the personal selection sessions really helped. We'll be back! Third session: Back for family portraits to capture our 2 year old. Kim is such an incredible artist and she captured his personality so incredibly efficiently. It was smooth and easy and we ended up with a huge range of choices. As usual, it was hard to narrow down. We have clearly found our portrait home.

We wanted to capture on film the budding relationship between our toddler and newborn. I'm not sure how Kim managed to get such beautiful photos when, to me it seemed that one kid or the other was constantly whining or crying. She and Sierra knew how to turn our ordinarily shy toddler into a ham in front of the camera. The whole experience, from initial consultation to choosing our prints was relaxed and enjoyable. We had our first portraits taken with Kim Campbell at Campbell Salgado Studio eleven years ago when we were pregnant with our first son. Now, eleven years and many photo sessions later (chronicling pregnancies, births, and loved ones who have since passed away), we were back for photos of child #3, now 15 months old. I was looking for a unique, but comfortable senior photo experience, and I definitely found that in Campbell Salgado! I went in the latter part of August, and was taken aback by the beautiful studio space, and even more so by their back yard, which looked like a movie set overgrown with vines and a canopy of trees. It was beautiful and surreal, taking photos and drinking ice water in such a cool setting.I was so impressed by the ladies at Campbell Salgado. They listened to my idea of a senior photo and took that idea to a whole new level, with amazing results! Not only were they very sensitive to my wants and needs, but they also had a large selection of props and backgrounds to use in the photos to really capture the uniqueness I was looking for. I'm very fond of vintage things, and a lot of their backgrounds and props had that old-fashioned-yet-timeless feel I wanted. And in addition, I got to be a guinea pig for their brand new Vintage filter, which I think really made some of my photos pop!Overall, my experience was great, and if you choose to get a picture taken at Cambell Salgado, you will not be disappointed!
