My fiance and I went with Legacy Photography for our wedding and engagement photos. We were recommended by a friend of ours, and are more than pleased with the outstanding job they did on our engagement photos. The day of our shoot, Tyson led us downtown as he took our photos in the beautiful, fall scenery and historical buildings Downtown Fargo has to offer. The results were outstanding! If you are looking for a unique experience, full of artistic quality and long-lasting storytelling through photography, Legacy is the place for you. Their prices are quite comparable to other local photography studios, and the quality photos are well worth the cost.

All of my children have had their photos done through Legacy Photography (and we've done family photos as well) since it started, and I have been nothing but impressed with the quality of the products and services provided. I appreciate the flexibility of where the photos are taken like parks and other areas around town, and it's not an additional cost like other places I have looked into. Whenever I get the photos back, I have a very difficult time narrowing down which ones to print off, there are always too many amazing ones. I highly recommend Legacy Photography!

Owner lacked professionalism and organization, but photography was beautiful and artistic. To be completely honest, the owner was a very laid back, friendly and nice, but he seemed to have difficulty "keeping it all together"--especially in a timely fashion. For example, he was easy to get a hold of when you first inquired about prices etc, but extremely difficult to get a hold of after securing services. He missed appointments due to "late nights" per his report and seemed to be too busy with other things to follow through at times. He lied about the progression of completing our photos, admittedly to me in email and in person. I have spoke to a couple other individuals who have worked with him, thinking perhaps, that my husband and I just had a poor experience. Others agreed that their pictures turned out great, but working with him in the process was somewhat stressful. There was also consensus that the final product "leather album" was not what one would expect, or was "lead" to expect. It is simply a leather covered album with three vertical plastic sleeve slots, that is cheaply made--as the binding in mine cracked the first time I opened it. After making the owner aware of all my concerns in a calm and appropriate manner, he stated there was nothing he could do. He stated that if he made me another album, he would not be making much of a profit so he did not have anything else to offer me. However I do want to make mention, that the woman who took our wedding photos was fabulous and professional and I absolutely LOVED her!!! She was thorough, sweet, and artistic.She even arrived early to our weeding, which was nice-since I had to call, email and leave several messages for a week or so before the weeding to even find out who was taking my wedding photos and if they had the address. I want to make it very clear that my intentions are not to completely sway someone from the services, I just want others to be aware that if you work with the owner, be prepared not to have high expectations for services if working with the owner, be very thorough about any questions you have, be VERY clear on what the package you are picking includes. Rest assured, your pictures will surely turn out--just with a little undue stress added!

Legacy Photography is amazing! When we looked for wedding photographers, we were put off by many area photographers who wanted to steer the vision of our wedding toward their own artistic approach or sell us outrageously expensive packages that included ridiculous amounts of video coverage and shots that we were not interested in having. When we met Tyson from Legacy Photography we immediately fell in love with his assertive, but no pressure approach to wedding photography. Yes, he had packages that many couples would be extremely happy with, but he was also open to discussing alternatives with us to make us happy and not just to fit us into some pre-made formula of what he thought our wedding should look like. When all was said and done we had absolutely stunning engagement and wedding photos that we literally look through every couple of months. He was honest, innovative with his creativity and very professional. He completely captured the love, beauty and happiness of our wedding day.We absolutely love our photos and will cherish them for the rest of our lives.
