Our wedding day was on and off rain and Abby took the gloomy rainy skies and made them into uniquely beautiful photos that we will treasure. We continue to get compliments on our engagement and wedding sneak peek photos and couldn’t be happier on how they turned out.

Abby really is a cool person to work with. Photo shoots can be really awkward, and she's just fun and goes with the flow and makes it feel more like you're hanging out taking pictures with your family rather than putting your hand here, and posing here, and smiling this way, and doing xyz with xyz. She's really professional but you can tell she really has a passion for photography. Not to mention, the pictures come out AMAZING!

Whenever someone asks about our wedding, one of the first things they say is: "I saw your photos...they're BEAUTIFUL!" and oftentimes describe them as "works of art." I couldn't agree more. Abby made our day look even more beautiful than I remember it in person. She captures all the colors AND the emotions. But more importantly, she does so in a way that feels so full of energy and fun. On the wedding day, she kept us all smiling and laughing, her presence fitting very naturally into the group. She'd connect well with guests of all ages, though during the ceremony blended into the background without being at all a distraction to the main event. Many friends were surprised when they saw the photos that she captured, because they "didn't even realize that she was moving around during the ceremony--how could she get those shots?!" She's also incredibly organized and efficient with her time, while still taking time up front to get to know us as a couple and understand what we wanted out of our day. And she gets the pictures back to you SO QUICKLY. We had previews of her best 80+ shots within a couple days, and the full set of photos within two weeks. And honestly, she's completely affordable--worth every penny. Abby goes over and above, and she's thought of every little detail to make couples feel special--before, during, and even after the ceremony. I couldn't recommend her enough.

If great photos are a priority for your wedding then Abby Anderson is the way to go! Her work is simply Amazing! I still get a ton of compliments whenever people see our photos. She just brings out the color and elegance of every photo. Her bubly personality is infectious which makes her easy to work with. We used a couple of photo ideas that I had but then she came of with the rest which took off a lot of the pressure, and the results were phenomenal! Oh and did I mention the incredible turn around. She posted a sneak peak of our wedding photos the night of our wedding! She then released the rest of the photos just a short time after. I've had friends who waited months for their photos! I also had Abby make me a photobook. I got to have a lot of say in the making of the book and it turned out incredible. Just a wonderful keepsake. Abby is worth every penny and booking her was definitely one of the best wedding planning decisions I've made.

I have to admit, that when we were working on my daughter's wedding "budget", I told her how we just had "a college student do it and we rarely even look at our pictures...". But my daughter did her research and decided no matter what, she loved the work she had seen done by Abby (Studio A) and they would cover the cost. I WAS WRONG on every level!!! Not only did Abby come in on the wedding day and make all of us feel so comfortable, she helped us set a schedule and pace through the day to be able to get any and all of the photos we thought we might want (and more!). What can I say about Abby... Abby is one of the best decisions I have made when it came to wedding planning!! She is a one of a kind, self motivated, soup loving individual that knows how to make anyone smile! We had 7 individuals on each side of our wedding party, and she did a fantastic job of keeping them in line and smiling in every single photo. I honestly thought we were going to get behind schedule because our group tends to chitchat instead of listen, but she worked her magic and the night went smoothly! Even with grandparents-my grandma is stubborn and refuses to smile in every family photo ever. Getting our sneak peak, my grandma is laughing and smiling in every one. It makes me so happy and brings tears to my eyes! Abby also gives you a sneak peek of some of your photos the night of your wedding on Facebook. This way you can share with family and friends right away what awesome work she does. Later in the week more pictures go on her blog post that you can also share. Abby is so worth the money; she never has two of the same photos and shes really creative! I'm definitely keeping her in mind when I want family photos one day down the road

My husband, Brian, and I had Abby do both our engagement and wedding photos. From the very beginning she was very professional but also had a way of making you feel like you were talking to a friend through the entire process. I told her the general direction our wedding "theme" was heading and she worked that into our engagement pictures perfectly. On our wedding day, I was running a little behind. (Go figure! The bride running late.) Abby was so cool and calm about it and really made me feel so much better! She took the schedule and rearranged it so that she could still fit in all the pictures we wanted. Even though there were times we may have been trying to hurry to get to the next location, our pictures were not lacking in quality or beauty. I have gotten so many compliments on them. They turned out amazing and to this day I look at them quite often! I recommend Studio A Photo to anyone who asks...and even to people who don't!

Abby is so talented in everything she does. From the quality of her pictures to the turnaround time you receive them, down to her personality and ability to photograph anyone: we couldn’t have been any happier with our experience with Abby and the services/products she provided. Abby photographed our wedding as well as our engagement pictures. She is very good at personalizing each session. We farm and raise cattle, so our engagement pictures included a few shots around our farm and farm life, which Abby knocked out of the park. For our wedding day, we had a very traditional, classic, suit and tie event. Abby also knocked this one out of the park. For having two very different settings we were pleased with the style of each photo she shot. In addition to the quality of her photographs, Abby is tremendous with her planning and communication. I never felt “uncertain” during the wedding planning process when it came to the photos. She is very organized, always has a plan, and is extremely easy to communicate with. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, and with all the ravishing reviews you’ve already read about Abby, the only thing you may be wondering about is a second photographer. My recommendation would be to book Abby. She captures every image you could possibly imagine. Additionally, she typically has an extra set of hands with her on your wedding day through her internship program, and they work beautifully as a team to capture your day. Whether you’re looking for a wedding photographer or someone to capture some family portraits, I highly recommend Abby! You will not be disappointed and will take home beautiful photos you’ll cherish for years.

Abby handled our wedding from beginning to end, I was over-the-moon pleased with how she made us feel. I mentioned my fiancé is "not great in front of a camera" and she somehow worked her magic and they turned out beautifully. My wife, Becky, and I had Abby as our wedding photographer in 2009. We absolutely loved her and the photos she took of our wedding were superb! Becky and I met at a friends wedding, which is were I was to meet my future wife, and Abby was photographing that photo too. At my friends' wedding, I was impressed with Abby's professionalism, and her willingness for me to "get in the way" a little, while I took a few photos myself and video taped the couple (I was the videographer for their wedding). Fast forward a few months, and as Becky and I contemplated getting married, and then later after I proposed, we didn't need to think about anyone else to use for our wedding, it was going to be Abby! Abby is creative, flexible, cheerful, and thinks outside the box to get amazing photos. I snoop in on her FB page every once in a while to admire her work with other couples. In short: USE STUDIO A!! You won't regret it!

My husband and I originally went to Abby for a few portraits during a portrait special she ran. She made us feel relaxed and directed us into natural poses. We had such a good experience with her we knew she would be perfect for our wedding. Abby took some of the ideas we had for wedding photos and put her own creative spins on them to create fun photos everyone loved! She was easy to work with both during the wedding photos and on the business end of things as well. Abby and her assistant were discreet while taking photos during the wedding and reception but still managed to capture every important moment. We (and our guests) were so surprised to even see a few of our wedding photos published online on the same day of the wedding. We HIGHLY recommend Studio A. Even though we live in Virginia now, my husband has seriously suggested flying her out to do photos for our next big life event.
