They claim that these packages are chosen by the school, and that they have no control over the packages and prices offered, but I know for a fact this is not true. The price for 2 - 5X7 photos cost 39.95!!!!! And 8 wallets cost 20.95!!!! The packages are overpriced, and it is funny that they do not offer a decently priced package for those families that cannot afford to spend hundreds of dollars on senior portraits. I have waited and periodically checked online to see if perhaps the prices have been reduced for the 2017 Cary High School senior portraits because I need to avoid spending so much money, but the prices have remained the same as of today, Sunday, February 4th 2018. "2018"!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't even want to give one star. So very disappointed in my kids school pictures. Only one background (cheesy to boot). Hated the fall pics and hate the recent spring pics. Something that is a milestone in a child's life should be given a bit more quality. I'm so sad

The telephone customer service representative that I spoke with was super helpful and converted my Senior picture order which I ordered later than expected to the digital format which was what I really needed. He emailed them to me immediately, and the picture was touched up as a bonus! Superb service! Made my day!

These people should be ashamed of themselves. We are forced through the school to buy at ridiculous prices. I ordered the set of Proofs for $80.00 so I could copy what I needed. It took forever. They claimed seniors take longer because they send the best quality for them. When I went to make copies the machine popped up a notice that the quality was too poor to make an 8X10 and may be grainy. We did a border to avoid that. In the end we found we weren't able to make any picture because they are copyrighted. $80.00 to wait a year for proofs that aren't anything more than small copyrighted pictures! Only one actually looks like my Son and I can't use it!

They take entire too long to cash checks. I wrote a check to them on 2/22/19 for my son's yearbook and they just cashed it on 4/18/19..... almost 2 months later.

I've worked in Guilford County Schools for 14 years and the best pictures of my class and students has always been with Strawbridge. When I switched schools, I worked hard to convince my school to switch picture companies because the quality and dedication is better than other companies.

This is an update to my review below. Strawbridge contacted me in the below response and resolved the issue so I changed the rating that I had orginally given them. All companies make mistakes, but the final proof is in how they resolve the issue. In my case, they were great! David was very professional, very prompt and concerned with providing good customer service. His actions demonstrated that they stand behind their product and want to provide great service for their customers! Can't ask for anything more. Thank you David! Original review: Ordered soccer team High Res CD from Strawbridge. To my surprise, the CD only contained an individual photo of my son; It did not contain the team photo. I called thinking that there was a mistake, but the customer service person said that only the individual picture is included as noted on the order form. She stated that the order form clearly states that the CD only includes the individual picture. I stated that my order form, which they wrote showing the negative numbers, only stated High Res CD. I have included a picture of it. If my order form showed what they claim, I would not have any problem; however, it does not say anything about it only including an individual picture. It's a shame that companies do not stand behind their product / literature. Customer service rep offered a "sorry" but did not offer to stand behind their product literature. She said that I could return the product and gave me the address. I will definitely be contacting our school system to voice my dismay! Word of mouth is powerful!!!!!

Had a terrible experience with this studio during my senior pictures. This is the first year our school has used this studio, and I can only hope it will be the last. They decided, for some unknown reason, to take our pictures in the summer. I was notified of this a few days in advance, and missed due to vacation plans that I had made (at the beginning of the summer). I then went to the makeup day, and at first was satisfied with my formal tuxedo pictures. However, this all changed when I was invited outside for my casual pictures. I got 3 poses, and my background was the muddy steps of my school. This experience sucked. I now am stuck having to find REAL professionals to take my pictures.

If I could give no stars, I would! Our pictures were taken on 8/22 and here it is 10/9 and I have not received my son's marching band pictures. They have cashed the check and received their $50 but I have not received my pictures. I have called and receive a message that all representatives are on the other line to leave a message and they will return call within 24 hours. Nope, not the case. Been a week now. From reading all of the other reviews, this seems typical. I will NEVER order another picture from them.

Loved loved loved my kids photos. Last year and this year both came out so good. They are so easy to work with. Cythia and Tiffany are amazing. My daughter is 4 and autistic yet pictures are beautiful. She had to switch schools after her pictures were taken and the girls in the office where extremely accommodating and shipped the pictures free of charge to my house instead. :) Thank you for great service

Very disappointed to the fact that my child wanted to have a big smile for her last elementary school pictures and was told to close her mouth because she had brackets on. She felt sad and I very disappointed to the fact she was not allowed to smile the way she likes to only because of the appliances she has to wear. She has a smirk look on the pictures, not happy at all. Very unpleasant and unprofessional staff in my point of view.

So disappointed. School Pictures were sent home in a pack. I got 2 poses. One great and one mediocre. 90% if pics sent home were of the mediocre one. The couple of pics I did get of the pose I liked were not in the correct size. Looked online and there doesn’t seem to be a way to order the sizes/ pose you actually want. Seriously what kind of company is this. Will definitely be voicing my opinion not to use this company again at school.

after years of poor quality school photos I'm finally writing a review and going to voice my opinion with our school to stop using Strawbridge. I hate the way they send home several sheets of pics that are outrageous in cost and that are just going to be thrown away. They aren't even good, normal sizes you would want, like 2 5x7's, etc. I'd like to document my kids time in school but I can't bear to order from this company

I am completely upset with the pictures that were sent home with my children from school. I understand that there are a lot of students that pictures have to be taken of, but is it too much to ask that my child can at least be looking at the camera and not have crud on their face. These are pictures that are used for fundraising for their school and the quality that are being sent home along with going in the yearbooks is subpar.

Terrible, terrible, terrible! My kid is not difficult to photograph, but yet I keep getting truly awful pictures of him from Strawbridge Studios. Awkward grimaces instead of smiles and collages of 3 pictures comprised of only 2 different shots! These people need to turn in their equipment and never be allowed to use anything with a camera again!

Our experience with this company so far has been unsatisfactory. We sent our payment in over a month ago and they just now have processed it. Now today I come home to letter from them saying we didn't pay the sales tax. After calling them five times to find out if they cashed my payment, to me any of these times would of been great to tell me that I hadn't paid the "taxes" . So I call today and the customer service rep has no clue how to fix this issue. Said the boss leaves at 5:30 yet I m calling them at 4:30. I'm very frustrated since we paid $480 for these photos and now we have to wait even longer now cause you cant seem to get things together. From the rest of the reviews I can see I'm not the only dissatisfied customer. Glad we won't be using your service ever again

Our elementary school was suppose to have pictures when a tornado touched down, totally fine cancel it and reschedule for another day. Now that its been 2 weeks we were suppose to have pictures Nov. 1st. The parents of the school get a call around 7:40am (the day of) saying the Pictures are cancelled for today and will be rescheduled for a later date. My opinion; I think is unacceptable, your suppose to have a backup plan. Its not easy going through prepping the night before and your child is excited to take pictures then to be cancelled. Why the school cant find anyone closer to the Western part of the state is mind blowing.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have the parents fill out what photo sizes (and in what quantities) they would like to purchase before picture day? That way you get exactly what you want when you receive the photo packet. I thought you could order what you like online but the website is useless and only describes how many "sheets" you're getting. Why can't I choose 5x7? Or an 8x10? Please consider changing your ordering format as it is very limiting for people with large families and everyone wants a photo.

The website is not organized at all if you have more than 1 student in a school, you can't preview the photos on the website, so I looked up the customer service number to place an order with my debit card over the phone and they couldn't take my orders over the phone. They told me they couldn't place multiple orders for different students into one order either. Someone needs to re-do their website and create an option to pay by phone for people who don't use checks. I wish my children's school chose a different photography service.

My child attends a school with an early intervention focus. The photographer refused to photograph any child without a pre-order and refused to engage with disabled children to elicit smiles. Seriously, the pictures look like they came from institutions in the 1950s. It's borderline discrimination, gross at best.

My son took fall photos and when they were sent home they allowed my son to make a crazy face and thought I was going to buy that. Then spring came and I coached my son before school thinking it was my fault. He came home with a set of photos one good photo and one pose looking uncomfortable. That was only two poses ... But then they put it on an edited sheet that was designed for 3 different poses??

The comps has gone over and beyond to fix a small problem with my son pictures we order package A with f (last name and year) and it came without the last name and year so they resent it to the school the day after weeks later I contacted the school the said they didn’t receive them (which I’m sure they did because the school isn’t always the most efficient although it is a great school with a amazing Principal but I digress) so I called back the company and they are now sending them to me directly I am very pleased with how they handled the situation and will love to work with them again in the future they were wonderful to say the very least

Literally the worst photography studio ever. I hate every school picture that has come home from Boones Mill Elementary. The ordering process is a nightmare. They just send a random bundle of pictures home and say keep the ones you want and send in payment, but the layouts are insane. Why would anyone want a collage image with 3 copies of the same picture cropped in 3 different ways?? And when you go online to order what you actually want or to order more of an image, there is no way to view the image you are ordering. You just have to remember which season it was taken, then you have to find the image number, which is not blatantly labeled anywhere. Also, my daughter has never taken a bad picture, except for the ones taken by Strawbridge. She is so photogenic, but these people cannot seem to capture a good picture at all. I wish the school would use someone else.

***EDIT/UPDATE*** This place is ridiculous, so I ended up mailing the pictures on 10/11/18, of course I had to call them again on 10/18/18 and asked what was going on with my refund, well they asked me "did you request one?".... What?? I sent the pictures a week ago, you would think they would have to refund as soon as they get them but they don't, anyways the lady told me, "Ok no refund has been request so I will do it now and you will get a check in the mail".... I asked her "A check???, Why a check I paid with my debit card", so she said she was going to refund it in my card then, and that I was going to get refunded between 1-5 days.... Well guess what?? NO REFUND YET, I had to call AGAIN today 10/24/18 and ask why I don't have my refund yet, they asked me if I got an email saying "that the refund was made", I said "yes I did, but not the money in my card", the email doesn't put my money back into my account, one of the answers was that "I have to contact my bank about it" WTH!?!?!?! this is a problem with ya'll not my back, I was transferred with one manager and now I still have to wait longer until I get my money back, I seriously never had an issue like this before, with anyone, and wouldn't be calling if I had my money already..... I already said it but I will do it again, I REALLY HOPE NEXT TIME THE SCHOOL DOESN'T GET YOUR SERVICES FOR SCHOOL PICTURES!!!!!! This is the first time that I heard from this studio and seen a school using this company for school pictures and I was skeptical about it, anyway I have 2 kids in school and I paid in advance for those pictures, one of my kids' picture was good and the other one I didn't like it, retake date wasn't an option since I already have plans to be out of town that date... Any way when I called to ask about how to go about returning them (I called twice) they told me I had to send the pictures to school, so I did. School told me they won't take them, that I have to mail them. So I called for 3rd time to ask what's they right information since they say one thing and school says something different, then the costumer service person says I have to mail them. And I told her, Why do I have to pay for mailing for this pictures?, they were taken in the school... Then the lady asked me "What do you want me to do? To call the school and ask them why they are not taking them?"... So I said "Yes" thinking she was being serious but no she was just being sarcastic.. And she tells me "well I can't do that, I can't tell the school what to do"... First of all, Why do I have to pay to return them, with other studios I NEVER had this issue, y'all should be more clear with school about process or how you guys work. Second, please don't reply to this post saying that I would have to talk to a representative because the last one I deal with was kind of rude, not a really good experience with y'all I hope next time the school chooses Lifetouch... Costumer services is everything y'all!

if I could give zero stars I would do it. 1st the photographers are rude to the students, 2nd the children do not know how to pose and for that there are the photographers there to help them with the pose, 3rd with the children of special needs the experience is worse because they do not take the time to take a good picture of the children, 4th is not cheap, 5th the customer service is bad, when I did not receive the photos of one of my children and see that they had already cashed the check I called them and left a message, they passed 4 days and I did not receive any response so I sent them an email and a week later they responded to tell me that they did not know anything but that they were going to check, so 1 month after I contacted them, they sent my chilf pictures to the school. I really hope that my children's schools choose another company to take photos since strawbridge studios gives a horrible service.

I just received my daughters school pictures and I love them however I noticed a small piece of food stuck in her tooth. I was totally bummed because it seemed like the focus of the picture was now on the little piece of food stuck in her teeth. I called hoping I could reorder the pictures and see if they could somehow touch up the small blemish. Not only are they touching up the photo but are sending me a new package at no additional charge. The lady I spoke to was very kind and helpful. I was very pleased with the customer service I received at Strawbridge and look forward to many school pictures with them in the future.

The best pictures we have had so far for school pics! You guys did great!! Worth EVERY penny!! This is a 5 star company in my opinion !! My step daughter got a scratch on her face the night prior. The pics were so perfect, you didn’t even notice the scratch! I speculate they may have even fixed her hair (she is in kindergarten) and she was just as pretty as Jon Bonet Ramsey!

The pictures are decent for school pictures, however multiple times per year this company sends home unsolicited pictures, which you either need to pay for or send back. What an incredible waste of paper, and I don't appreciate them creating a chore for me. Prices could be much lower if you weren't printing thousands of pictures that end up in the trash.

I was so pleased by the services provided by Strawbridge Studios and the outstanding customer service. They took the photos for my sons school pictures, and unfortunately I spilled juice over them rendering them completely unusable. I hate to spend the same money twice, but my sons kindergarten pictures were worth it, so I called Strawbridge to reorder the photos...and they sent me the replacements FOR FREE. Seriously, I was shocked (in the best way possible). The girl I spoke to was so nice and she seemed very happy to make my day! I am such a fan of Strawbridge Studios!

I had a very great experience when we dealt with Strawbridge. My family was hit with a terrible tragedy we're still recovering from around the same time we had ordered photo packages. While on the phone with a young lady named Angela I broke down a little and she asked if I was ok. I told her a little of what we were dealing with and she offered sympathy. Then she asked to put me on hold for a moment and when she came back she said not to worry about a thing and that they would take care of it all for me and get my pictures to me asap! I thanked her and she told me she'd be praying for me and to have a blessed day. I know it may not seem like much but it's nice to know there are still some really good people left in the world.

Any time my childs schools/ball teams have used this company, they NEVER get my order right! I don't pay expensive prices to have to contact the company to let them know they got my order wrong.. more than once! And then have to wait even longer to receive the items they didn't give me that I paid for. I am still waiting to receive my last order that they did not completely send. And they do not try very hard to get good photos of your child either. I am done getting pictures from this company

Spring pictures were terrible! How do they expect me to purchase a photo (or photos) if 1.- There's one single pose and one background to choose from. 2.- Doesn't seem like anybody was directing the shoot as my daughter's dress was hair looked sloppy and my son's eyes were closed. They sent me a package to purchase any pictures I desired, which included the same image in all kinds of different sizes. I was really looking forward to these pictures, they were just an embarrassment to our kids.

Half of the team photo was of the grass on the field. I needed a magnifying glass to see the players they were so far away. It was clearly written on the order form the package I was requesting but it was changed by the company for unknown reasons and without my consent. Consequently, no individual photo was taken and the package I wanted was not the package I received. So long to preserved school memories. I do not recommend this company at all.

I just received my sons spring pictures and I am very upset. They came much later than usual and the quality is horrific. The lighting looks to be nonexistent, these photos came out incredibly dark. This has been an ongoing issue with his pictures for the past two years or so. He is not smiling in either pose and when I asked him why he didn’t smile he became very upset and said he had smiled and the photographer was moving really fast. I likely would’ve purchased them and had them retouched to fix the lighting so that he actually looks like himself. But to not even capture him smiling?! He looks caught off guard in one, and like he was about to speak in the second pose. Absolutely awful! Prior to that his school pictures always looked great. I’m not sure if the photographer changed but I’ll just have to get his portrait done elsewhere. I’m very disappointed!

If I could give this company no stars, I would. Their picture quality is terrible: bad lighting and odd poses (heads leaned to one side at weird angles). You cannot view these poor photos before purchase. If you could, no one would buy them. When you do order, good luck with receiving your photos in good condition, if you receive them at all. I received an 8x10 color graduation photo in a flimsy envelope with no supportive cardboard or protective packing. The photo arrived bent. I returned it, and it was replaced. But look at the extra effort required to correct their mistake. Given the photo cost plus exorbitant shipping, the least they could do is pack photos in a way that protects the buyer's investment. To truly understand how careless Strawbridge is, consider that this company actually mailed another customer's multi-photo graduation photos -- very expensive package -- to my address. Knowing that someone had spent good money on something that I easily could have tossed in the garbage, I contacted Strawbridge and sent the photos back to them. Shame on them. That this company is allowed to continue shooting school photos is inexplicable. The choice surely isn't based on photo quality or customer satisfaction.

Quality of school athletic team photos is really poor. Buying from them is a waste of money, particularly in this day when everyone has high quality cameras on their phones. Better to take your own photos and use a service like Shutterfly or Snapfish- cheaper and you dont have to wait months only to find the photo you bought looks terrible. I contacted customer service over a particularly bad team photo, was told they would try to edit the photo and send me a new one, only to never hear from them again. Didn't they look at the photos they prinited before sending them out????

I find the pictures just fine, but I am reviewing because I found them to go above and beyond in business. When we sent in our check for pictures, we accidentally included a second blank check in the envelope. Fast forward 3 weeks and an envelope from Strwbridge arrived at my house with the blank check and a note. Unexpected, and it brought a smile to my face.

Update: The manager has gone above and beyond and sent me two entire packages (way more than I paid for) with BOTH images that they were able to locate (hmmm). But the customer service reps there need to get it together. Would honestly give 0 stars if I could. My daughter had picture day in Sept 2017. I got a phone call back on 10.06.17 stating they lost her image and she needed to do a retake. We did retakes on 10.30.17. It is 12.18.17 and I realize I have yet to receive the picture I paid for (thankfully I only gave these people 10.00- which they had no problem cashing). I called to check on it & THEY HAVE LOST THE SECOND IMAGE. These are the same people who are putting together the yearbook for the school that my child will apparently not have a picture in. Small problem to have in the world today, but goodness people, get it together.

This company has taken sport pictures at my child's school for the last 2 years. Last year's pictures were bad but this year they are terrible. The entire volleyball teams pictures were incredibly dark. This is especially concerning when the photographer showed my child her picture on the back of his camera and she questioned him if the picture was going to be that dark. He replied that the printed pictures would be corrected. Obviously, they did nothing to correct her or her teammates individual pictures. I would NOT recommend them to take any pictures for my school, daycare, preschool, etc. When a 12 year old points out the poor quality to you at the photo shoot and you do nothing to correct it, you obviously care nothing about your clients or customer satifaction.

All I have to say is wow because I am speechless of how tremendously generous, kind and just an amazing company!! I’m a single mom on disability with limited income but an expensive teenager getting ready to graduate later this month. Her senior year has been the most outrageously costly, cap & gown, yearbook, band dues, senior picnic, senior PROM, library fees and now $160 for tickets TO GET INTO her ceremony!! Plus she got accepted to ECU in the fall and preparing for that is triple the cost and she hasn’t even started yet!! So to say I’m a bit stressed, worried and trying to stay positive & not let her see me bothered about all this money. I want her to enjoy the last few days of high school and to be super excited about college in the fall. I just want her to be happy and further her education and get her nursing degree or BSN like she’s planning. BUT I digress, I almost forgot about her senior pictures, yes not cheap by any means, but I wanted to get them to give to family & friends after graduation but I just simply couldn’t afford them so I emailed Strawbridge with my plight asking if they could help me with a discount or ANYTHING to lessen the load. Well customer service manager Preston Mayo called me and asked me what I was looking at, packaged. I told him the “student” package, it was the cheapest. He asked me which poses, you get one pose but additional are extra. After that he asked me if there was anything else I might like, I wanted an 8x10 which was extra too. He then very calmly told me he was going to mail me her pictures, complementary, no charge!!! What?? In an instant tears over came me with awe & appreciation that they would do such a kind, special gesture. He said he’d hope it would lighten the load and he really doesn’t know how grateful I am. I haven’t had much help from anyone with all this money and it really touched me. I see the negative reviews and I 100% disagree. This is a stellar company who DO care about their customers! I’ll update when I get my gorgeous girl’s pictures! Plus this company had been around forever, think the did MY school pictures. Would recommend 2,000%! Update 6/8 picture package came today and they’re gorgeous!! So perfect I cried again! Thank you so very much again, Mr Mayo!!

Strawbridge Studios customer service went the extra mile for us when my child lost a set of school photos. We went in to their office, told them what happened, and a few days later, a new set of photos arrived at our house. Dealing with elementary school photos has to be one of the most complicated jobs anyone can ever take on - especially considering each one of the children is a random chaos element. Be patient and kind and understanding, and that's what you'll get back, both from Strawbridge Studios and from life. Their offices are a little museum of the lost art of photography, an excellent place for a little chaos unit to spend a few minutes while a parent speaks patiently and politely with staff.

This is the worst photography company in the history of school photography companies! My daughters portraits were AWFUL! SHE LOOKS CONFUSED AND UNCOMFORTABLE! From photographer to photographer, if you took Caila Snead's portraits at EE Miller elementary school, you need to DO BETTER. Review your work before you print it call parents and offer a reshoot! Don't send home awful images of your expect to make a profit! I'm disgusted!

My children took their fall pictures with Strawbridge and we received them on Tuesday. My girls' pictures were absolutely beautiful but unfortunately my 1st grader's pictures were very upsetting. With the weather constantly changing, he had a runny nose going into picture day so I asked if I needed to stay to make sure his face was clean. I was told no but on his pictures you can clearly see the dried up mucus at both tips of his nose. His teacher said she didn't see but wouldn't the photographer notice that as well? And the worst part is, there isn't going to be any retakes so I will have to wait til spring. I wanted to use the pictures to place inside of our Christmas cards that we send to our family members.

My daughter took pictures with her father at her schools Father Daughter Dance, it's been a month since the Dance. Her Classmates have received their pictures and she hasn't yet. I'm sure the pictures I took myself with my cell phone are better. We paid $30.00 for 1 Pose this was her first dance. I thought they would have taken several shots, with beautiful backgrounds and allow my husband to see a preview of what they will look like. Her friends pictures all look the same. Well, I guess they'll be like her school photos, 50 photos of 1 Pose. I'd prefer a preview of the pictures but this company doesn't do that. I Just want MY MONEY BACK... I Guess NO SCHOOL PICTURES NEXT WEEK!

Strawberry Bridge does school pictures at my son's school. They are soo expensive. Especially Spring pictures. I have 3 sheets, 1 calendar and another "plastic" page. $55 for all OR $15 a sheet! That is OUTRAGEOUS!! I can do a WHOLE lot better either with my phone or own camera. Pictures are REDICOLOUSLY PRICED and NOT good quality at all! I do not recommend them unless u have a "money tree". Geez.

I am absolutely not satisfied with either of my children's pictures from your company. Both are horrible, and there was no proofs or redos. Your company rushes the children through and doesn't attempt to get a good picture. These are memories that are supposed to be cherished, but instead are so bad that I will not be handing them out to family and friends. Your company should be ashamed of what you're producing.

I have no idea why schools continue to use Strawbridge for school pictures. My daughter's picture was terrible and worse us I had to pay for it ahead of time!! You are suppose to be professional photographers, do you even look at the picture after taking it? You should take more pride in your work, since you advertise as life's little moments. The photographer asked my daughter to tilt her head. So we have a picture of her head down and to the side, totally unnatural looking. Photographer should have caught this. School pictures should be more than, sit, smile, next.

Wow.... Have never in my life had to deal with such a mess. My daughter had her Kindergarten pictures taken by this company. We ordered the big full package when it was time to order(September 2018). Waited a month. Called the school who said pictures were sent home over 2 weeks prior. So I called Strawbridge which I was on hold with for 15 minutes before anyone answered. The lady who answered informed me the photos were never sent and could not provide me a reason why but did confirm they were paid for in full. So she assured me she would resubmit the order and send it out asap. A while later finally got them them they were incorrect and the digital copy code did not work. We called AGAIN and again was on hold for at least 15 minutes. The lady this time was apologetic and nice but we requested a call back from a supervisor NEVER RECEIVED a call from anyone from Strawbridge. Finally got our second set of photos STILL INCORRECT dispite confirming order details for the order. Here we are 4 months later!!!! Calling them once again to get to correct order. Yes this company is significantly cheaper than life touch which is who I am use to dealing with my entire school career and both years my daughter was in preschool. But IT IS NOT worth it at all. Paying more definitely pays off! Now we are waiting for a 3rd and hopefully correct set of photos with a working digital link. We'll see I'm not getting my hopes up.

Unfortunately, my children’s school uses this company and if I do not see drastic improvement immediately, I will be meeting with administrators to discuss finding a competent photography business for the future. We have been in various schools with various other photography companies, and NEVER had a problem before. This year, with this photography company, all of my kids’ pictures have come back very unprofessional. Their fall pictures were horrible so I had to ask for re-takes, and those came back worse! 1child has their collar turned up on one side, one child wasn’t even smiling.... and my kids are photogenic, so there is no excuse. Now, I just got spring basketball photos that cost a FORTUNE for what you get, and my son had his picture taken with a 1/2 smile and not even positioned with the basketball. Seriously?! My son came home and said, “Mom, these are bad!” I could take pictures much better than this and I’m not a photographer!!! Also, my kids’ school is very small, so there is no excuse! I called and you have to leave a voicemail. Waiting and wondering if anyone will respond. For reference, the school is in Yulee, FL.

Our elementary school switched photographys this year. Strawbridge picture form stated it is also a fundraiser. Photos were taken Sept 19th, 2018. Students started getting just some of their orders at all different days. So i emailed the teacher asking what happened to my sons. Teacher contacted them and said they are processing it still. I recieved them today November 6, 2018. And the picture quality is terrible. Their is a white spot on my spons forhead that is from the photographer. We paid extra for name and year to be printed. Not happy with them. Getting a refund. And they are making me pay to send them back to them for it. Oh well... if my school uses them again next year we aren't buying. We will buy the spring photos.

I was dismissed as if i was over reacting when I contacted them about a complaint on one of their make photographers . He approached my 8 year old after he took her picture last week and whispered in her ear that she " had the best outfit of all the other girls" . I was contacted after my initial complaint today by a woman and she told me that my request of wanting him fired being as though they should have a zero tolerance policy regarding anything like this, was too harsh and that he should be allowed to explain his self.......that maybe my daughter ,the school,and I misunderstood his intent..Please explain how a rational adult thinks yes whispering in a little girls ear in reference to how she looks- is a good idea if no ill intent was meant!!! I am appaled by the photographer behavior and even more at how upper management handled the complaint. I intend on contacting all news stations, as well as anyone else who will listen. My school has already agreed to not allow the photographer back. Hopefully he doesn't show up at one of your kids' school next. BE AWARE AND ASK YOUR KIDS QUESTIONS AS WELL AS TEACH THEM IT'S NEVER OK FOR ANYONE TO EXPLAIN WHY THEY GOT INTO THEIR PERSONAL SPACE

This is the first year my sons school has used this company and I hope it’s the last. School pictures were mediocre at best. The poses were very unnatural and looked awkward as well as poor quality prints. They also constructed the year books this year. The quality of these yearbooks are horrible. For one they are paperback and the picture quality on every single page is not professional at all. For the same price we’ve paid every year for yearbooks and school pictures we’ve got hardcover year books and great quality pictures. I hope Newton County Schools find another company next year or we will not be buying their pictures or yearbook.

Unfortunately, because our child comes from a split home (so do thousands of other children) one parent ordered first and so when we ordered, they took our money, but cancelled our order, apparently assuming we double ordered since it was for the same child. When I called them to see why I hadn't received my pictures (3 weeks later) but the other parent had, they explained my order got cancelled since the other parent ordered theirs first. If it was cancelled I should have been reimbursed. So, without asking, they assumed we accidentally double ordered, cancelled my order and kept my money. They are now printing my pictures and it will take another 10 business days before I receive them.

Good morning. Yesterday morning I did volunteering at my kids school to help make picture day run smoother. We had 2 rooms and 4 camera people. All of them were amazing and worked well with the kids. But 2 stood out more to me. I'm horrible with names so please forgive me. These 2 men had all the special needs kids and got down on the kids levels made them feel comfortable and where able to get some good pictures of the kids. I am truly impressed by this. Not just as a parent but as a person. All 4 where amazing and did a fabulous job. But I wanted you to know you hired some amazing people to take that extra minute and work with special needs kids and not get annoyed or upset.

I had formal and casual senior portraits at school and every staff member was so attentive to detail, they didn’t hesitate to offer a suggestion to my pose or hair. They send my 2 folders with duplicated photos that don't fit into them. I tell them they should mention their folders don't fit the photos I ordered when ordering. They offer to send a 3rd folder that still won't match the vertical to horizontal photo ratio I have.....how exactly does that help?

Customer service had no problem having the photographer to correct it and also FedEx the corrected copies to the school so I can get before school ends in 2 weeks. Wow! I can't tell you guys just how excited I am to have received my daughter's softball picture and open it to see a blurry image, her bat cut off just above her head and cars parked behind her. I don't know about everybody else, but I'm so glad they were able to capture that special setting! And the best part, I had to pay $35 for absolutely terrible pictures...I probably could've gotten the same quality from a Polaroid camera but, hey, I don't have any better place to spend money. Bottom line, if you're looking for someone to provide your organization with awful pictures for a ridiculous price, this is the place for you!!

Seems like it's only do such visible ask to show like the 'care'. ---- Completely frustrated. 21st century outside and we've billed (mean should pay) with $25 for single image CD. CD!!!! There is no CD drive in a new laptops already. CD! Really? with any order of printed photos above certain amount digital images should be included or come with the reasonable price on cloud storage. Phonebooks - this is old already. Mousepads? moving your mouse over you kids face? seriously?

I wish there was a zero star option! At my son's graduation, we were not allowed to use our own photographer because the school had contracted with Strawbridge Studios. The photos are garbage! Full of shadows and faces so blown out there's no detail. I would be ashamed to make these images public! And, oh by the way, I now do not have a photo of my son receiving his diploma. At least you have a contract and that seems to be what's important here. What certainly is not important to you is capturing a milestone event.

This is a modified review from my initial review. There was a quality issue with a print that I had purchased through my child's school. After contacting the company, re-issued a different print. I'm happy that they were able to remedy the problem in a timely manner, so I'm revising my review from 1-star to 3. They offer the slowest mail option through USPS which is a fail. I must say that the customer service reps are joining on the spot in responding to emails. I live 2.5 hours away from the Studio but it was worth it to me to have the senior portrait billfolds to go in the invitations to family and friends. Miranda was great. She had the photos ready and waiting in the reception area when I got there. Very friendly! I'm so glad that I asked about coming to pick up the photos in person. Thanks again! I hope that you offer speedier mail service such as FedEx in the future. I removed one star because I wasn't refunded the shipping fee and there wasn't a fast option such as FedEx available.

I'M SO DISAPPOINTED that I paid for these in advance. REFUND PLEASE! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. They actually photo shopped my younger child's hair and morphed it into a completely different color. What's with the blue background with the blue uniforms. The pictures are nice, but the extra unsolicited packages that they send are confusing. I had just purchased a packaged and then received an unsolicited package in my child's backpack and thought they were the ones I bought. Next thing I knew I was getting "nasty grams" that I needed to pay or return the photos. Fortunately, I realized the difference between what I had bought, and their marketing package, but it was really confusing for awhile.

I had to order my kids pictures online and thought I was purchasing 2 separate packages. My pictures arrived timely but it was double the pictures and my daughter's package was not included. I called the company because apparently it was my error (which I did not feel was clear when ordering) and the customer service agent was so nice and accommodating. When asked about sending the extra pictures back they told me to keep them and said they would ship my daughter's package out right away. I received them within a week.

Strawbridge still hires real full-time permanent career photographers and invests heavily in training and professional development for them. What a difference!

I hate their ordering system of the school pictures. Why can't they just send a proof sheet first instead of sending whole package already printed? They make us decide either to keep the pictures and pay or return them all if not buying. I can afford to buy only one sheet each time so have to send back the rest of the package to the school. What happens to those pictures then? I guess they just throw away or burn them all... What a waste. I can't believe what they are doing when all other companies are trying to be more eco-friendly. It also makes us parents feel bad when we can't afford to buy. I get it you make more money easily this way, but please just send a proof sheet first!

I was a photographer for Strawbridge. This may have been the worst experience of my life. The team I worked with were predominantly white and male. They made me feel isolated and often tried to belittle me and bully/harrass. I quit this job not even 6 months after getting it. The managers often times were no where to be found so I felt I had no one to turn to. I believed the team to be both racist and sexist. I would not recommend.

Our daughters school was supposed to have their picture day a few weeks ago, well the school had to cancel due to not one but TWO tornadoes touching down in our county!! Well the company decided since it was a 2 hr delay just to reschedule. Again, no problem we as a community at the school totally understood! BUT!!!!!!!!!! Today was the make up picture day, me along with dozens of other moms, pretty much tortured our daughters to get ready and to look as beautiful as possible for pictures, all for NOTHING!! We get to her school, and I hear the bus driver of all people (who's also a mom of a child at the school) complaining about it being CANCELLED. I get to our daughters class room and the teacher informs me that they CANCELLED picture day, THIRTY MINUTES, before they were supposed to start taking pictures. Not a 24 hr notice, heck not even a 12 hr notice to the school for the parents. I mean the company is located over 2 hours away from us!!!!! But to not get a real reason why or even an explanation is beyond me!!! My husband and I are so livid about this, we may not even let our daughter do individual pictures with this company anymore. And take our business elsewhere!!
