Cara's partner, Adrienne, did our engagement session and wedding day (with Lacy!!) - made taking 100s of pictures FUN, we were laughing the entire time. I wish there were more stars to give, f8 is that good. I had a list of potential photographers we were going to consider, but after 1 phone call with Cara it was very easy deciding to go with them. I don't say that lightly - I was basically panicked the entire planning process about every single vendor, but Cara and her associate Adrienne were right there every step of the way. They answered all my frantic emails, gave literally hours of their time over the phone, we did an engagement session with Adrienne that completely blew us and our family/friends away. One of my favorite compliments - a friend said we looked exactly like us, not a fake version of us. Doing the engagement session had me SO excited going into the wedding, I knew how much fun we'd have with Adrienne and how beautiful our pictures would turn out. The extra surprises I was treated to included the most fabulous assistant, Lindsay, who my husband said made him feel like we had 2 lead photographers not one lead and one assistant. I totally agree, she and Adrienne worked so well together and were so much fun to be around, we couldn't have asked for a better pair to capture our day! The second surprise was that my veil kept catching on something on my straps. Adrienne and Lindsay were ON it! They followed me around adjusting and readjusting, went completely above and beyond to the point that anytime the sticking started I'd call for them instead of my friends and family to help! That's when you know you've got the best of the best! Third and most important, the pictures are so, so, so, SO good!!! I get teary-eyed just thinking about them. The wedding day was such a blur and I feel like I missed so much of it, so it's even more special how talented Adrienne and Lindsay are because we not only have the posed portraits our family members wanted, they captured the FUN! Big time!! There are action shots of the dancing, perfect shots of people laughing together, hilarious ones of people making all kinds of faces. It's like they knew everyone's personalities and gave us these perfect images of exactly who they are and how they all celebrate happy times together. It's priceless. We got so many comments from our guests about how much they appreciated our photographers taking such great pictures of their family. People kept asking me to make sure to send them the link because they knew they'd gotten some good ones. That was such an unexpectedly wonderful feeling, I really can't thank Adrienne and Lindsay enough for that. On top of all of that, they got the pictures back to us SO quickly, other friends with recent weddings were like how are these ready already? People have been talking about them ever since. Another favorite compliment - "I can't stop looking at these pictures!" - again, totally agree. I would recommend f8 to anyone without any hesitation, and I'm pretty confused by the 1 star reviews towards the bottom. I truly can't imagine someone having a bad experience, and after all these months and so much time spent talking with Cara, I can say with complete confidence if an issue was communicated to her, she would make it right.

Cara from f8 came highly recommended to us by our amazing wedding planner Erin McLean with Erin McLean Events. Cara is a talented photographer who genuinely cares about her clients. She has an amazing attitude and will do whatever it takes to get the shot right! From start to finish Cara was attentive and professional. What started as a business relationship quickly developed into a friendship. It felt like I had one of my good friends taking my pictures instead of someone I had only just met.

We're very happy to have had Cara photograph our wedding. We keep looking back at our photos and love how they really capture the beauty of everything and helped make us look great! Meeting Cara for our engagement photos was great because it gave us an opportunity to see how she worked and be more relaxed on our wedding day since we weren't total strangers. She also is fun and jokes around to make you relax and smile the whole time. My husband is a photographer himself, so Cara went above and beyond by scouting out our venue the day before and taking some great shots of the beautiful scenery! It wasn't something she had to do but was such a thoughtful way to show she cared. On the day of, she was great and both made everyone feel at ease while also keeping them in line to ensure we stayed on time and got all the photos we wanted. She was good to work with because she took input from us and also made her own suggestions so that we could come to an agreement on what shots we wanted and how things would run to make it all perfect. To top it all off, the pictures are great. They show emotion, have great color and sharpness, and help to tell the story of our day. But you can see that easily from all her great albums! The photographer is such an important part of your wedding since they will be with you all day and they will capture your memories and what you look back at year after year. Highly recommend Cara and would work with her again in a heartbeat!

I cannot say enough great things about F8 Photo Studios! My husband and I were planning our 9/30 wedding in Wake Forest from Boston, where we currently live. Needless to say, I was a little nervous about hiring vendors without being able to meet them in person. I spoke with Cara on the phone after taking a look at the F8 website, and she immediately made me feel at ease. She explained all of my options and walked me through what to expect with wedding photography. After making the decision to move forward with F8, my husband and I met Adrienne, our photographer, for our engagement photos. I immediately knew that Adrienne was the right person for the job. Not only was she one of the nicest people I've ever met, but she was clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about photography. When we got our engagement photos back, I could not wait for our wedding, simply for the pictures! Then, very quickly, our wedding day arrived! Adrienne was with me and my bridesmaids while we got ready, and her assistant was with my husband and his groomsmen. Adrienne knew the best shots and angles for me and my girls. She efficiently got us through pictures before and after the ceremony, and then even indulged me in some one-on-one pictures during the reception. We haven't received our full wedding album yet, but Adrienne sent us a "sneak peek" with a few photos, and I am seriously IN LOVE with them- they are breathtaking! I cannot recommend this company enough!

I cannot be happier with our photos! For our wedding my husband & I did not want to skimp on the photos and we are SOOOO happy we went with f8 studios. Cara was fantastic to work with on the planning and for the event we had Adrienne there taking photos. She was great and so fun to be around. We planned everything from Texas so I never event met Adrienne until the day of the event but she had everything set up and ready to go and there were zero issues. I would highly recommend.
