First, I'll say that Julie's customer service is impeccable. She's so quick to respond, and such a pleasure to work with. This was my third session with Marzena, and as always she does a fabulous job!! I picked her for my maternity photos after seeing the creative shots she had in her gallery online. They came out AMAZING :) Then she blew me away with how she was able to mold my son into the craziest positions for his newborn shoot. Babies are always beautiful in my opinion, but her creativity and talent of being able to get the cutest positions is what you're definitely getting here. I just had my son's 1st birthday shoot, along with some outdoor shots of my whole family and I'm absolutely in love. I cannot thank Marzena and Julie enough for making this such a pleasurable experience EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Marzena is great! I met her at a church function where I saw her photos and fell in love with them, particularly her cake smash photos. I used her for my daughters 1st birthday & because I told her our family loves Disney, she came up w a cute Minnie Mouse theme. She picked up the cake at a local bakery, created a cute backdrop, provided a tutu and even ran a warm bath afterwards (for my daughter of course ;P) The turnaround time was quick & the pictures were so cute! We used her again for our family photos. Her packaging changed in a short period of time, but i guess that's to be expected in any successful growing business. She was very involved in communicating w us to deliver our wants and needs. She even met us all the way down in south county. Again she did not disappoint. I would recommend Marzena!

Incredibly positive experience with Marzena. From the beginning, she was responsive to emails and suggested helpful concepts and ideas for the photoshoot for our newborn baby boy. At the photoshoot, it was clear she had lots of experience handling newborns (our boy was a preemie) with care and was attentive to every detail, including making sure that all props and materials used were clean to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for the baby. Most importantly, the pictures turned out great. All our friends and family unanimously agreed the photos were fantastic. Marzena managed to make all of us, mommy, daddy and baby look our best. We recently hired Little New York for a newborn session and had a great experience. When I initially reached out to Marzena (owner), my son was already 3 weeks old. As first time parents, we were unaware that newborn photos needed to be done sooner as the little one is more likely to be sleepier. Luckily, Marzena was able to accommodate us on short notice. Pricing was very reasonable for the basic package compared to other studios. We love the fact that she has her own studio in LIC. The space is spacious and full of beautiful natural light. She also has an amazing selection of the cutest knitted outfits and photo props; we were able to try out several which was a lot of fun. The photo shoot itself went without a hitch, and we have Marzena to thank. She really is like the baby whisperer, keeping the little guy calm throughout the entire session (not to mention changing him in & out of 4 different outfits). Overall we are very happy with the photos and highly recommend Little New York to all parents!

Julie and Marzena were very professional and kind from the very beginning. I found them on the internet in my search for a smash-cake 1st birthday photo session. Julie was very timely in answering all my questions. She stayed in touch and guided me through scheduling, clothing choices, and even improvised with an idea I had for a Christmas card. Marzena was very creative with getting our daughter to look and smile at the camera. The sets they used were clean, cute, and new. We didn't feel rushed. We couldn't be more happy with the quality of photos we received. Julie made it easy to understand the pricing during her photo selecting appointment. My only wish is they could find an alternative to the on-site photo selecting appointment to allow for online viewing so indecisive people like me have more time to view and decide. Overall, these photographers are wonderful. Julie even went out of her way to accommodate us and replace a canvas imperfection. We are definitely using them again.

Our baby was only 4 month old, but Marzena was able to get him smile and cooperate for at least the first half of the photo session before he falls asleep. We were also able to come back for a reshoot in the following weekend to capture more backdrops and work with the baby when he was less sleepy.
