Great studio and very helpful staff

I have rented a lot at the Los Angeles location which the location and all stuff is amazing there but NEW YORK needs to really get it together. The employee “Tre” is absolutely the epitome of the worst type of person to be working in customer service. He rushed my session and lied and said I was the last person there and he was ready to go home so I needed to finish and couldn’t extend time. I would think as a business the objective is to make money so if a client needs to extend and there are no other rentals behind mine then it’s common sense to make the business more money. On top of that it was two other studios occupied still doing shoots so IT WAS A LIE! He then told me my total and I proceeded to pay cash to avoid the extra fees that come with paying with a card, but guess who didn’t have change? I handed him 160 and my charge was 150 and he told me he don’t have change so I suggested to just put the extra ten dollars on my account for some other time and he refused and ask me to pay with card so I gave him my card and he proceeded to try and charge me extra fees for using the card when HE the one didn’t even have change to begin with. That is just piss poor business practice as well as customer service. He was rude and lackluster the whole day and several clients complained as well as my celebrity clients who he left outside buzzing for over 30 minutes because he was no where to be found nor at front desk. I had to call the LA location to get help getting in. Absolutely ridiculous. I asked for management contact to file a complaint and he told me I need to get the hell out. REALLY?! I DEMAND HIM BE FIRED. I will be reporting this everywhere and my clients are filing official complaints as well.

I've been using these photo studios in LA for several years and was excited when they opened this location in New York! There is just nothing like that in NY right now. I'am a full time photographer and FD is my go-to studio for all indoors shoots. Great space, lots of natural light, free equipment nad very helpful staff! I recoomend them to all my models and friends photographers.

I just directed a music video in studio 1 and on the roof and had amazing expereince. The studio was all white and there were attendants on duty both times that were able to help us with any questions or requests we had. We needed to borrwo some c-stands and apple boxes and they got them for us at no extra charge. The place is extremely affordable . I recommend using them for all your artistic projects.

Clean looking studio. Good pricing and accommodating staff members, whom are willing to help out and answer important questions when needed. They give you your space to take the most quality pictures possible. I feel like I got some of my best shots here in a long while. That’s probably because of the atmosphere, environment, and the staff. Thank you for this sublime photoshoot experience.

Did not enjoy our experience here. The communication with us and the front desk was definitely a negative experience. We went on a Saturday and I'm not sure if it was because the receptionist didn't want to be working on a Saturday but she seemed not happy with us the entire time. Every time I went up to ask her question, I felt like she was deeply annoyed that I was "bothering" her. Towards the end of our allotted time in the studio as we were packing up, she came in and assertively told us we needed to get out as if we weren't in the process of leaving. She was very rude and seemed to be bothered by everything we were doing. It's a shame because the studio we booked was beautiful and affordable but we felt very unwelcome during our time there.

So far, this has been an excellent studio that has served their purpose very well. I have been able to take quality photos with cutting edge equipment, while being able to save a lot more time and money. I wish I learned about this studio sooner. That’s my only regret.

Absolutely LOVE this place. I've only shot there once but have peeked into the other rooms and OMG! Each of them has a unique vibe and i can't wait to take photos there. I'll definitely be back soon. Lawrence took great care of us and made our experience very fun and easy.

The decision of doing my photo shoots at FD Photo Studio was a great, intuitive decision on my part. All the photo shoots I’ve done in each individual studio, has been above par. The standards have been set very high!

This has been my go to studio ever since last year, which was my first photo shoot. I’ve gotten all the shots I’ve needed and then some. They have remained consistently professional and easy to work with in each photo shoot. I’m very impressed with how everything is setup, down to the equipment and lighting, to the location of each studio. Out of all the photography options out there, this is personally one of my preferences. I definitely recommend FD Photo Studio if you’re more interested in private photo shoots, great customer assistance, and affordable pricing.

While looking for a photography studio to shoot clothing catalog for a trandy NY line. I was looking for something professional and fast. I contacted them on instagram and spoke with one of the owners who offered a tour. I drow to LIC to find it would ideally meet my clients needs. On the day of the shoot my team and i came to the studio and had a great experience, loved working there. We'll book another session sooon!
