Lisa did an amazing job capturing our engagement photos! She was on time to our session (which was out of town and in a difficult location to find) but she was so patient while I finished getting ready. She helped us coordinate our outfits after I showed her way to many outfits to choose from. We took our pictures in Cloudcroft and she was up for the unpredictable adventure as there was snow that we didn't expect and so our plan changed but she handled it so well! She made us both feel so comfortable as we both felt awkward being behind the camera but by the end she made it so easy! Lisa was up for any suggestions or requests we had and let us take pictures with our dogs that we adore. She also had a beautiful vision for each picture and guided us so well. We love all of our pictures! Lisa was so fun to work with! I highly recommend Lisa's Design Studio! I can't wait for her to photograph our wedding!!

What I love most about having pictures done with Lisa is that you don't feel like you're being puppeted around in exchange for a few posed pictures. Her amazing personality makes it easy to relax and capture excellent quality pictures of people in their natural state. Weddings, couples, portraits, babies, families (even including pets!) - her wide range of experience truly lets you find a great photographer you can stick with and grow with over the years.

When you look back at your wedding day you want to see it as you remember it, and finding the right photographer to do so is everything! I had worked with Lisa, with Lisa’s Design Studio, before to do my headshots, and she also did our couple photos that I used later for our “save the dates”. She is amazing to work with, and we loved all of the photos she had taken before, so when it came to whom we wanted to use as our wedding photographer it was a No Brainer for us, we decided on using her before we even had a date set. My Husband and I were married May 28, 2016. I kissed many frogs before I met my Prince Charming so naturally I wanted everything to be perfect, as all of us do. Our wedding venue was on a Golf Course and we were surround by beautiful mountains. I choose a neutral color palette with hints of gold, wanted nature to speak for itself. The bridesmaids were dressed in blush nudes, the groomsmen in grey suits, and the weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding. When I look back at our photos I see all of that, and how perfect that day was for us both. It’s more than I could have ever even asked for, she captured every perfect moment of that day, her eye for this is just so incredible, but her talent is obvious, she goes beyond that. Lisa is so different from other photographers, she connects with each and every one of her clients, you feel perfectly comfortable with her, which is so important, and she is just as excited as you are about your event. She’s warm, and genuine, you feel like she’s family. More importantly she makes you feel like part of her family, and there is no one else I would ever ask to do Any of my photos ever again, other than Lisa.

We haven’t had a family picture in +10 years and I didn’t want just any so called “photographer” on fb, I wanted a real genuine, professional photographer who knew what she was doing, and Lisa is that and so much more!!!! Working with my 2 year old is quite the challenge, (she’s a firecracker who is a handful) and she worked her magic and you couldn’t even tell she was goin crazy in the pics. Posing for photos can often feel unnatural (for me at least)...but Lisa makes it feel so comfortable that the whole session is really fun and easy. You will love EVERY photograph!! Lisa has an incredible eye, and magically captures the feelings of being with your loved ones that only an individual with a heart of pure gold could do. Her kind heart and warmth make it easy to feel comfortable and at ease during your shoot. Lisa delivers pictures that are hard to stop looking at, so much so our house is filled with her art. My only complaint is how hard it is to choose which photographs to have printed on a canvas.

I cannot say enough positive things about lisa. We have booked her for two maternity shoots, two newborn shoots, and my son’s 1 year photos. We plan to book her in the spring for some family photos as well. So clearly, we love her. She’s always on time. She’s always prepared. She makes us all feel comfortable (I’m always so freaking awkward in front of the camera). She’s efficient with her time, both during the shoot and also with getting sneak peek photos and your edited prints to you. And I mean her photos are absolutely stunning. Always. She has such a good eye and it’s obvious she’s doing what she loves. I suggest her to absolutely anyone and everyone. We’re military so when we have to move we’ll be so sad to leave her! She’s the best!
