Blue Rose photographed my wedding in Taos at the El Monte Sagrado. They usually post a preview of the photos on facebook about a week after the wedding. I had to look out for the photos on their fb page and would've appreciated being tagged or notified by email if they were unable to find my fb profile... Anyway, the photos turned out beautifully and we absolutely love them. The photos took about 8 weeks to be delivered to me but they were worth the wait!

Of all the expenses through vendors that come with the details of a wedding, by far the best money I spent was on the photographer. At first I was worried about the price, but truly I realize you get what you pay for and BlueRose put so much work into taking the photos, editing, and working with me to come up with the most amazing photos from my wedding. Two photographers were available on my wedding day and between the two, I loved so many of the shots. Both photographers had great advice in keeping the poses natural and they were great a herding our large family and wedding party. After the wedding and when it came time to select the photos for my wedding album, I appreciated all the input from the staff at BlueRose in regards to order of photos and layout in my album. I greatly appreciated that the owner (Sandy) was interested when I came into the studio to go through the album and we both awed at all the photos and the completed album. You can tell she cares that her clients are happy with their photos. I have and will continue to recommend Blue Rose photography for the amazing work and service they provide. You will not be disappointed!

Blue Rose Wedding Photography is really something very special. In any case, my daughter in the entertainment business, lives in L.A. & is very sophisticated in terms of look, & design and knowing what looks great. We looked at a LOT of wedding photographers but as soon as we walked into the Blue Rose studios and looked at her samples... we booked. Sandy was so lovely to us... she made us feel special from the moment we walked in. The day of ... they were friendly, and inconspicuous. And the photos...? Amazing. Cutting edge. Textures. Funny... touching ... high fashion. Any of the photos we recieved could be an ad ripped from a bridal magazine. We got the raw files but also bought a wedding book... even THAT was cutting edge in it's design and layout... I can't emphasize this enough...DON'T ASK A FAMILY MEMBER OR A FRIEND TO PHOTOGRAPH YOUR WEDDING! Thanks you Sandy for being so kind, helpful and easy to work with. Thanks for your artistry... With a death in our family two weeks before our wedding, Sandy was incredibly sensitive to that, and was able to keep the whole day rolling, photos taken, and keep everyone in a happy mood. She took time to take us to beautiful spots at our venue while not interrupting our day, and capture the feeling of the day. Worth every penny.

I felt the need to write my review because of how amazing the experience of working for Blue Rose was- they photographed my engagement photos and we were absolutely stunned at how gorgeous the outcome was. We have gotten showers of compliments from family and friends and I've already ordered canvases to show them off! They found an absolutely beautiful setting for us in the Bosque and they worked so well with the light and with our personalities and captured our love so well. I have never modeled before but they made it feel so natural and I felt like a pro:) Their studio is gorgeous and very professional, not to mention they are the nicest people I've ever met. I hunted high and low for a photographer that would help us create images & lasting memories from one of the best days of our lives, and I am beyond words for how beautiful they all came out. I love how they not only captured the romantic photos of my husband and I, and the ceremony and wedding party and such, but they also captured so many great candid photos of us laughing, and hugging, and crying. My guests are also very pleased because they took the time to go around and take group photos, family photos, etc. These images are everything I wished for and more. The lighting, posing, and editing was impeccable. They really listened to what I was going for and managed to deliver that and more. Sandy and Kristina are a dynamic duo. Sandy and company are wonderful! We had Blue Rose as our daughters photographer for an October wedding in Mesilla NM.She and Theresa arrived and went to work, Capturing so many details and moments... and that was before the ceremony. They were with us all through the day and got so many of the beautiful details from the Inn, Basilica and the Double Eagle. The Organ mountain shots are incredible, so glad those happened! Sandy we absolutely love the photographs and you are fantastic! OH , AND THE PHOTO BOOKS!!! they are gorgeous!! Sandy and company hit it out of the park with these little beauties. THANK YOU AGAIN!

I was referred to BR a couple years ago by a co-worker of mine. I went in for a appointment to discuss wedding packages and was very disappointed with their customer service. The woman who helped me, Sandy, was short with me and unaccommodating, didn't seem interested in photographing our wedding. She acted like she didn't have time for me and didn't want to work with me. We decided to go with a different photographer( Kyle Zimmerman) and I do not regret our decision. I told my co-worker about our negative experience and she informed me that it was Terrie who shot their wedding and he was wonderful, but she had also heard negative things about Sandy. I am assuming that all these positive reviews are based on their experience with other photographers who work for BR and not Sandy.

Every time I look back on my wedding photos I think how amazing my wedding day was! It was the best day and part of what made it so amazing was Sandy and her team at Blue Rose Photography- she was such a special part of our day. Our wedding album is top quality and she was such a pleasure to work with. I have never enjoyed so much being photographed. It was such fun from our engagement session, to our Wedding, to family photos later on. And we plan to use her for anything in the future as well! These photos are priceless. Blue Rose photography is the number one place I would recommend in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, RioRancho - anywhere in New Mexico or if you can afford her anywhere! Before having Sandy for our engagement session, wedding and later family photos I always hated having my photo taken. With Sandy the setting is so at ease and the quality is amazing! It's having a true artist capture everything you want and making it look easy to do so. I wouldn't recommend anyone anywhere else.

Blue Rose has been our family photographer for years now. They have taken wedding shots for 3 (4 next month) of my children. Sandy is sweet and professional and a joy to work with. The albums my children have are professionally done (as opposed to getting a disc and doing it yourself on line) and a joy to look through. When your wedding is over all you have left are your pictures. I recommend Blue Rose without reservation.

Blue Rose Studios photographed my daughter's wedding. They were fabulous! The pictures were great, and the best part of it was the album. (Pictures and video are the only thing you get back from weddings! Remember that and hire professionals!) Our children gave us an album as a gift, and the quality was impeccable.
