We are thrilled with our pictures as is our entire family. Mac was a delight to deal with and he managed getting all 16 of us to " cooperate" and have fun while doing it. Since there are 9 grandchildren, all with their own minds, I was a little apprehensive about the mechanics of the photo shoot but it worked perfectly. I would recommend Hartshorn Studios to everyone. A wonderful 50 Anniversary remembrance for us.

Mac and Jennifer are such a talented and passionate team. We did several projects with them and every single one turned out amazing. Mac has a world of patience when it comes to taking pics of a not so cooperative toddler. He manages to capture beautiful moments that look totally natural and not staged. We did outdoor and indoor shoots and the results left us in awe. We love how Jennifer turns the pictures into artwork and we’ve received many compliments on the pictures that are now in our walls. Her eyes for esthetics are truly unmatched so combining this with her husband’s talent: what a pair these two form! Try, you won’t regret it!

We have never had professional photos taken so we didn’t know what to expect but are thrilled with the images. Mac is so very talented. He definitely captures the most amazing expressions and has a very creative mind for shots that will forever memorialize family moments. He shoots in a very relaxed atmosphere in a very natural, organic studio setting. During our preview, when we realized my hubby didn’t have any shots with my kids, he immediately rebooked another mini-session free of charge and was very accommodating. Jennifer is also very good at her craft — presenting the photos as works of art and really helps to make the selection process efficient and wall art come to life. Their options are very pricey but well worth it for special occasions (and the wine/champagne help too lol!).

Our friends and family can’t believe how good the photographers came out. When went to their studio to see the pictures they were so professional, detailed oriented and very hospitable. Our experience with Hartshorn has been wonderful. My husband and I had a maternity Shoot with Mac and then a couple weeks later, we had a newborn shoot with our new baby girl. I am shy when it comes to having my picture taken, but Mac made the process easy going and fun. We worked with both Mac and Milena ("the baby whisper") for the newborn shoot and got some beautiful photos. They were extremely patient with our fussy baby and made sure we were able to get the cute, sleepy baby poses we were looking for. Jennifer did the digital photo review sessions with us and helped us make print and album purchasing decisions. I was a little disappointed that while there were some great shots of my husband and the baby, I didn't make it into any. Jennifer suggested that the baby and I come back for a mini shoot the next day- which was amazing customer service and instantly lifted my spirits. This is an expensive investment, but they are committed to making sure you are a happy customer with more than just family photos. You leave with art.

You have to give hime credit, it's not easy to make me smile naturally in the moment. He is charming and has a way to bring out the natural personality and capture genuine, life like moments.
