This experience was like no other! I first decided to do this shoot when I felt like I needed to see myself from a different point of view other than what I have seen in the mirror. As someone who has struggled with self-image and body issues all of my life, I decided I wanted to do something for myself to gain a more positive perception of my body and gain more self confidence. This shoot definitely gave me both, if not more! Of course I was super nervous to bear it all in front of a camera, but Anya immediately made me feel comfortable right away! Her tips and tricks and bubbly personality made me hit so many fun and sexy poses that I would never think of myself to even try! She definitely will bring you out of your shell in order to get the absolute most out of your photoshoot experience (ie going outside for a few poses!). My pictures came out nothing short of amazing and I am already excited to do this again! I recommend it to anyone who may be struggling with their body to see yourself in a way you’ve never seen before and you’d be amazed at the results! I’d recommend to anyone who just wants to be extra sexy and fun for a day!

Anya is a true artist! Before meeting her, I was super nervous about the shoot and had no idea what to expect since I had never been photographed before by a professional. During the shoot, she made me feel comfortable and really helped me break out of my shell. We laughed the entire time! When I went to go view the photos for the first time, I nearly cried because of how beautiful I looked. You could not see an ounce of nervousness in any of her shots and it made me feel stunning. The boudoir experience was unreal and I cannot even start to describe how awesome the photos came out. Anya made the experience super comfortable and so personable that it was more fun than awkward. Anya was absolutely amazing when it came to my Boudoir shoot! I was excited going into it, but also nervous since I didn't know what to expect. Anya has such a wonderful, calming presence, and made me feel completely at ease during the entire shoot. She gives you the freedom to play around with different poses, but will also guide you if are unsure of how to pose. She had me pin a few different looks/poses I liked beforehand and then actually re-created those looks for me during the shoot (one was even an aerial shot involving a ladder). It really made me feel special that she was trying to create something just for me. She really loves what she does and constantly wants to challenge herself. I am stunned at how the photos came out and could not be more excited. I am so excited for her to shoot our wedding this fall and know she will create something beautiful for us!

Anya is absolutely sensational. Her brilliant artistry and expertise are just as evident in the mood she creates for her subjects as in the photographs she takes of them. As a shy, conservative person by nature, I was incredibly nervous and uncertain about what to expect for my first boudoir photo shoot. However, the desire to give boudoir photos to my fiancé as a wedding gift outweighed my nerves and I decided to bite the bullet. The only problem that remained was time. Between an exhaustive work schedule and all of the chaos that comes with planning a wedding, I kept putting off making the appropriate arrangements for the shoot. Before I knew it, the wedding was less than 2 weeks away and all I had was Anya’s contact info, together with a list of glowing reviews of her work from The Knot. My hopes were now admittedly dim since I was almost positive that by waiting as long as I did, I’d spoiled my chances of any photographer being available to do a shoot—much less the specific one I had in mind. To my overwhelming surprise, Anya responded within the hour and offered not just 1, but 3 available dates from which to choose. By the end of the next day, we’d had a lovely telephone discussion and confirmed all of the important details. By the end of the next week, I’d completed the photo shoot and had a review session with her to go over my photos. The shoot itself could not have gone any better. She made me feel completely relaxed in what one would hardly consider an every day situation. It takes a true artist to take good photographs, but it takes an exceptionally talented, special person with a certain genius to be able to elicit and capture the “inner sexy” of a complete stranger right off the bat. Through her gentle instruction, pleasant conversation and great sense of humor, Anya created the perfect environment that allowed me to just let loose, have fun and feel beautiful. And the end result? Absolutely exquisite photos—two of which she made prints so that I could give them to my fiancé as a gift the night before our wedding. He LOVED them. I’ve never seen him more excited about any present I’ve ever given him. In summary, I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Anya. My experience with her was nothing short of extraordinary and she exceeded my expectations in every way. Thank you, Anya, for everything!

Picking Anya to be our photographer for our wedding day was the best decision ever! My husband and I felt that the photographer was super important since pictures would be the main way to remember and relive our wedding day in the future (along with video). The photographer is also the one person that is with you throughout the whole day; while getting ready, getting to your destinations, etc. My husband is also very picky, as he is in the art field and has an eye for photographs. He went through the process of researching and interviewing different photographers and once he found Anya, he knew that she would be the one that could capture our special day for us. When we first video chatted with Anya, we knew we would not be disappointed. She was so bubbly and made you feel so comfortable, as if we had known her forever. She definitely took the time to get to know us, our interests, what our vision was for our wedding day, and so on. She also took the time to explain the different wedding packages that were available, and she was extremely flexible working with us to sub a few things in for things we weren’t as interested in. Her communication, whether in person or through emails/phone calls, was amazing and always got back to us within less than 24 hours of our email. Just less than a year away from our wedding date, we had an engagement session with Anya. After leaving the shoot, we couldn’t wait to see the pictures, and when we got them back, we couldn’t have been happier. There were so many awesome pictures that we couldn’t pick a favorite. About a month prior to the wedding, Anya set up a meeting with me to go over a rough timeline and final details. The rough timeline was a great way to organize all appointment and inform our bridal party when things would be happening, as well as other vendors. Anya was also great to work with when giving her details of specific pictures we wanted, family situations, and how to incorporate everyone into certain pictures. Anya, Rachel, and their assistant Ying were amazing to work with on the day of our wedding. They were there on time, made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, and had so much fun with all of us! While working with us for photos of the two of us, to photos with our families, and with our bridal party, they did an excellent job at telling everyone how to pose and what to do, as well as finding the best lighting. The team did a great job walking around our houses to find the optimal lighting. They were also great at working in some smaller spaces to get awesome shots. Anya and her team did an awesome job at helping everyone’s poses look and feel natural. They instructed and helped out when someone was position awkwardly or standing funny. They knew how to get everyone’s attention and how to make everyone laugh. They all worked well and were very helpful with our flower girl and ring bearer as well. Having a one year old and two year old “pose” for pictures, definitely is not the easiest thing to do but they made it all work. At one point, Anya had my flower girl on one hip, while taking family pictures! There was also another time when I looked over and saw Ying interacting with the kids, holding them, and occupying them. Anya also did a great job working our dog into some pictures at the church, before heading off to our venue. On the day of the wedding, they posted a few pictures, taken with an iPhone, on their Instagram story. Based off of the quality of those, we cannot wait to see all of the pictures taken with the real cameras! Anya and her team were absolutely incredible to work with and we could not have picked a better group of photographers to work with! They definitely knew how to make everyone smile and feel comfortable. They truly made our wedding day the best day ever! We definitely will be using Anya in the future for other photo shoots!

Anya was amazing! She gave great direction. Although this is something I wanted to do, it didn't come without some anxiety and hesitation. Anya helped me feel comfortable in front of the camera. It was taking me a little while but she just continuously coaches and encourages you. You really begin to feel confident and beautiful. I don’t have enough good things to say about my experience with Anya and her team. For my wedding I really wanted to surprise my fiancé with a boudoir shoot. When I got there I was greeted by the whole team with a huge welcoming hug. We sipped champagne and got dolled up and my hair and make up was FANTASTIC by Sherri. She is a rock star! We proceeded with the photoshoot and Anya was just amazing. She walked me through every single pose. From how to turn my head and how to use my hands and turns my body-she was even doing the poses with me! She really just has an energy that resonates and makes you feel so comfortable. I left the experience feeling confident and sexy. Sexier than I ever have honestly. When we looked at the photos later on- I was SCREAMING. I could not believe that was me in the photos. I truly cannot say enough about Anya. I knew she was the photographer for the job right after our first call. She explained the whole process to me and just generally made me feel like I was going to be supported by an awesome woman start to finish and guess what? That's exactly what I got from her. I initially wanted to do this boudoir shoot for my fiance as a wedding gift, but I also wanted to do this for me as a way to empower myself and build that inner confidence that I often struggle to find. So naturally, one of my biggest concerns coming into this shoot was not feeling confident enough to pull off these poses. Within about 2 min of shooting my first look Anya had me genuinely believing in myself. I mean, she quite literally did every pose with me so I wouldn't feel silly doing them and to help me understand what she was looking for. I can’t even begin to describe in words what my experience with Anya was like. The first thing I said to her was that I’ve never been photographed before, then the last thing I said to her after seeing the pictures was I cannot wait to do this again. Working with Anya was one of the easiest wedding decisions I've made (aside from saying yes to my fiancé)! I had thought about doing boudoir album as a gift and let it fall off my radar until a friend had suggested working with Anya. She was so sweet during our initial phone call and made me excited to plan out my outfits. She offered advice, asked questions and sent a Pinterest board so I could pin inspiration. She was open to ideas and gave suggestions to make everything perfect. During the photo shoot she was fun, professional, made me feel comfortable and beautiful! I’m not self conscious, but posing nude isn’t always the most comfortable thing and she was great every step of the way. She laid out all of my outfits I brought and helped complete the vision by directing poses and setting up props. The makeup artist was so great and helped changed my makeup to fit the outfit. I was able to design my album, pick the leather cover and all of the photos that go in it. This was one of the most amazing experiences and I can’t wait to give the album to my fiancé. I recommend to any woman that wants to do something empowering!

Despite us having to plan our wedding from the other side of the Atlantic, communication was never an issue. What an experience! Anya is such a sweetheart, her energy is so positive and radiates. My now-husband and I booked Anya as our wedding photographer, and with our package, a boudoir shoot was included. I finally pulled the trigger and booked my shoot for about a month before the wedding. Working with Anya is always a great time. Her amazing assistant Ying was in the studio and is also full of positive energy! Anya had hair and makeup set up for me, and we were going to have ourselves a day. Anya made me feel so comfortable and excited, I know how awesome she is at what she does, I couldn't have imagined these photos coming out any better! I am not usually too shy, but can be awkward in front of the camera. Despite this, Anya gave me detailed posing tips and helps me let loose and feel comfortable, confident, and sexy. I didn't have any fears or hesitations once we got started. It was a positive space where I could let loose and be myself. Both Anya and Ying do a great job of ensuring the atmosphere stays this way. I was asked before starting if I would be comfortable having behind the scenes updates, and if I would have my photos uploaded to the Instagram page. The experience was AMAZING. I left feeling empowered and beautiful, and couldn't wait to see the photos. At our meeting, while watching my slideshow, I got teary eyed looking at myself. I looked just as good as I felt! I recommended all my girlfriends to try this, and to do it with no one but Anya. Some of them had reservations (I'm too big, I'm a mom/have a mom bod, I'm shy, etc) but Anya can make anyone come out of her shell and feel themselves. This experience was once in a lifetime, I am so happy I did it and have the photos as memories. Anya knows her stuff and is the best of the best!!!! Book your shoot, you will NOT regret it! Finding the perfect photographer for our wedding was one of my top goals. In my opinion, they are the most important vendor you will choose, because there images are what stay with you forever. When I meet Anya I knew she was the one! On our wedding day we stopped at the Palisades Interstate Park to take some pictures. As we were getting ready to head to the venue Anya stopped us to take a few more shots, she said the lighting was just right and we needed to take advantage of it! The pictures she captured at that time are some of our favorites. Her attention to detail is remarkable. Not only do we have countless, quality shots to choose from for our album, but Anya also delivered a variety of photographic styles. Anya is amazing! She is a complete sweetheart and very professional. It’s not easy to be comfortable enough with someone to be in lingerie in front of them let alone take photos of you. But, Anya put me at ease from the very first phone call with her bubbly personality. She talked me through what I wanted out of the shoot and through selecting the outfits. The shoot was so much fun! Every time I came out in a new outfit both she and the hair/make up stylist said things like “You look so good!” That made me feel awesome. The actual shoot was a one of a kind experience. I’ve never done anything like this before. My favorite part was seeing the finished photos. I swear I almost cried and couldn’t believe it was me I was seeing. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Anya. I knew I wanted to do a shoot for my boyfriend for Christmas - but I was nervous. I have never felt super comfortable with my body. I couldn't imagine myself looking sexy or beautiful. The communication I had right off the bat with Anya was amazing - she was responsive, friendly, made me feel at ease, and gave me some great ideas. The actual day of the shoot was SO much fun! The first thing we did was go over outfits and ideas. Then the amazing Sheri turned me into a super model (THANK YOU GIRL!). From that point on we did the photos ... and I was nervous at first - but Anya and Sheri made me so comfortable. I felt at ease and my walls came down and I had so much fun. I got married in December, 2014 in Oxon Hill, Maryland. My husband and I met with two different photographers in the Washington, DC/Maryland area first due to location of the wedding. While these photographers were good, I left the encounters feeling like there was something missing, and I was worried I would somehow be disappointed with the final product. At the time, I had been following AnyaFoto on Facebook because a college classmate of mine hired her for his wedding and I loved all the photos he shared. During my photographer search in Maryland, I could not stop looking at AnyaFoto's posts on Facebook. Although she was in another state, I decided to give it a shot and schedule a meeting. From the moment I met Anya, I knew my search was over! She is professional, charismatic, patient, and a true artist! Anya was so accommodating when it came to scheduling our engagement shoot in Manhattan (where my husband lived), and did not mind traveling to Maryland for the wedding. She provided excellent direction for posing and made my husband and I feel very comfortable while capturing our special moments. Yes, AnyaFoto may be more expensive than other photographers you will meet. However, you cannot expect Anya's level of detail at a discount. Her vision for our engagement and wedding photos surpassed our expectations. We could not have been happier with the final product, and I am so glad I listened to my gut and chose AnyaFoto! My opinion is that the photographer is the most important vendor at a wedding; the flowers will die and the favors will get used or tossed, but the photographs capture one of the most important moments of your life and you will cherish them forever. I highly recommend AnyaFoto!

In the days leading up to it I was very nervous that I wouldn’t be good at it and be too embarrassed to give my husband the pictures. Nope. When I got there Anya greeted me with her bubbly yet calming personality and a glass of champagne. While I was getting pampered and ready by the lovely hair and MUA Sherri, Anya went through my outfits and gave me great advice on what would look best. The photo shoot went amazing. Even though I had no idea what I was doing and am far from graceful, everything just flowed. Anya had all the tips and ways to give me an amazing photo album to give to my husband on our wedding day. He LOVES it and I am so happy I didnt chicken out!

Anya is nothing short of amazing. I know this twice over now because not only did she do an out of this world job for my boudoir photos, but she was also my wedding photographer and a year later I still can’t stop staring at my wedding album and all the other spectacular photos she captured for us. Anya was extremely professional and helpful leading up to the shoot. She created a private Pinterest board for me to pin pictures, poses, ideas, clothing, really anything I wanted that I found inspiring for my shoot. This really helped me explore what I wanted to do with my boudoir shoot and the direction I wanted to take it. It helped me to prepare mentally and allowed me to narrow down my look, my props and some of the poses I was interested in exploring. When the day finally arrived, it went better than I could have dreamed off. I had my hair and make-up done, which made me feel glammed up and ready to rock and roll. I brought several outfits and Anya curated them perfectly with my jewelry and shoe options to create the perfect look for each shot. She made great use of all my props and really brought the photo session to life. From the very beginning, Anya was warm and welcoming. She was supportive, encouraging and helpful with lots of inside tips to help make me feel at ease, so I could get out of my head and into the pose and move more naturally. She wasn’t afraid to roll around and get on the floor or stand on furniture to get just the right angle or light for a shot. She made me feel confident, sexy, and beautiful. It was a fun and adventurous shoot and I am so glad I committed to the process. Anya helped build my confidence and gently helped push me out of my comfort zone and into a place where I felt sexy, confident and most importantly safe! As the shoot progressed I grew more and more comfortable and any heart palpations I was having in the beginning were long gone by the end, I was shocked!! I just had my viewing session and I was blown away by the images she showed me, the photos and her work brought me to tears. I’ve never felt that beautiful in my life. If you're considering a boudoir session go with Anya and don’t look back. I can’t wait to share my boudoir photos and album with my husband for Christmas. Hubby is going to flip. I guarantee you that Anya will far exceed your wildest expectations. I used Anya for my wedding, my boudoir shoot and I will most definitely be using her for my newborn shoot come April. Oh My God!! First off Anya is the most modest person I have ever met. She worked magic with me and my shoot, but continues to give all the results to the client, in this case ME. From start (booking my appointment), to finish (selecting my photos and album), it was a pure joy to work with AnyaFoto. I was nervous, unsure and skeptical of how I would react to posing in lingerie and possibly even more nervous coming to review the photos. I was sure I looked like a complete fool in most of the shots. Well to my plesasant surprise, I LOVED them!! I heard about Anya through someone else that had used her for their Boudoir shoot just before they were getting married and they absolutely loved her and felt amazing after seeing the photos. I was inspired to look into doing a shoot for myself after seeing how it absolutely raised her self-esteem, I was hesitant since it seemed that most people did this as a gift for their husband/boyfriend but I was single and was doing this just for myself. I have been going through a whole “get out of my comfort zone” phase and this just seemed like the perfect thing to do and would assist on the way that I viewed myself. These are a few words I will use to to describe the feelings I experience when I look at my engagement and wedding day photos taken by Anya of AnyaFoto. The entire experience from our first consultation till the post-wedding meeting was a lovely experience. Professional? Yes. Personal? Yes? Talented? YES! This describes Anya to a T.
