Exactly what we wanted! My husband and I planned our wedding relatively quickly (we had a four month engagement) and Robert was exceedingly helpful in every possible way, from being highly flexible with his schedule to giving us stellar recommendations for other vendors. He was easy to contact whenever we had questions or concerns, no matter how small they may have been. We were in regular communication from the day we booked our event, until after we received our photos. It is clear that a happy bride and a happy couple is Robert's top priority. Not only that, but Robert also made us feel at ease with the entire process of being photographed, which is really no small feat for those of us (like my husband and I) who aren't crazy about being the center of attention. His upbeat and fun personality really made us both feel comfortable....and (dare I say?) even have a lot of fun. And, for as much fun as Robert is to work with, he is every bit as professional. He was very thorough in asking us questions about what was important for us to capture, in our photos. There is not one thing that he missed. Not only did he capture all of the people and all of the things that we discussed, he really captured the "feel" of the whole event....all of the emotions and all of the joy. All of our guests commented on what an outstanding job he did, being in all of the right places at all of the right times. When they see the pictures they are all in agreement that he captured the event perfectly. The end result was just amazing. Everyone who sees our photos comments on how outstanding they are. Robert is a truly gifted photographer who captured our wedding beautifully. It takes true talent to not only capture beautiful images, but the emotion behind them. Robert's work gave my husband and I a lasting record that captured the images and feel of the entire event. I couldn't be happier with my experience or with the end results!

Robert is an amazing photographer! My husband and I had Robert as our wedding photographer and Jessica as his assistant. We loved both of them and received tons of comments from our guests about how friendly and not pushy our photographers were. We both thought that they had great ideas for photos and they took the time to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. We also liked that Robert includes an engagement sessions in his packages! We were weary about doing it, but it was a great chance to get to know him and get comfortable in front of the camera. Robert and Jessica make you feel very comfortable and they are all about providing the best service to their bride and groom! Another bonus is that Robert is almost always available. He is really responsive and you can always get in touch with him!!

Robert is an amazing photographer. I had a huge wedding party there were 22 of us total. He did an awesome job getting pictures of everyone and making them look good! I love how he has everyone "show the love". He makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I do not have enough good stuff to say about him. I had a crazy minister who would not allow pictures and Robert talked her into letting us take pictures. He has an outstanding personality and every quality you would want a photographer to have! Not even a week after the wedding i already have the CD with all the pictures! I would highly recommend Robert to any bride and groom.

Robert and crew photographed and videoed our wedding this past November, and we couldn’t be more happy with their service and work! Roberts great energy and love for what he does, got us the amazing shots we hoped for, especially on a windy and rainy day! I recommend getting his engagement shoot and wedding package combo, because it’s a great way to get to know Robert, and get all your professional photography jitters out! You’ll have a lot of fun and get great photos in the end!

Quality and style of photos are great. Details and candid moments were captured perfectly. Our photos were posted online and we received a DVD of all images shortly after the wedding. The Bad: Our package included proof books but when I sent the list of photos I wanted printed I was told they did not have books but would search. I asked multiple times over the next 2-3 months and purchased some myself. I was issued a tiny refund (6 months later) that did not really make up for the quality and time I had to spend researching books and eventually putting the proofs in the books. We were told the list of prints was being sent 3 months after I gave the list and again 1 month later. 3 times in 4 months? Really? They should have been sent 4 months earlier and we were not told what the problem was. Very poor communication. Received the prints 8 months after our wedding (some missing but they were quickly resent). We received our wedding video in 4 months but the date was incorrect (an IMPORTANT thing). We were told it was an easy fix and we’d get a new one soon. At this point I lost faith and sent a USB drive in order to get a copy of all the raw footage (got it in 1 month). 4 months after asking for the date change we were told the video was lost due to a hard drive crash. I don’t hold him responsible for that but we should have been told IMMEDIATELY and it shouldn't have even mattered because it should have been fixed MONTHS earlier. Luckily I asked for the raw footage or we would not have a video at all. I made a copy of it, sent it back, and waited another month for a new video. We FINALLY received our wedding video 9 months after our wedding (yup could have had a baby by now!). The quality of the video is not what we were expecting. We do not have video of our wedding vows (we see our best man’s back – MOVE so you can see us!) and our first dance is chopped up. We regret spending all that money on a videographer. The worst part is how the situation was handled. I was extremely patient the first few months. Then I was blown off and got many false promises over the course of the debacle of partial money back for the video, a wedding album, and a canvas print to “make up for it any way possible.” I was also told “I promise I will compensate you for the hassle.” Once we received the DVD, I inquired about what was needed for an album I was told that our contract was complete. Extremely unprofessional. We are tremendously unhappy with the entire situation and are simply glad that it is over and we at least finally have our contracted items. EDIT: Response to Vendor: 1. If things were done in a timely manner there would have been NO problems. 2. The videographer could have easily moved to get the proper shots. There are multiple vantage points of our ceremony so the fact that one of the most important parts is blocked by someone is unacceptable. 3. Video turnaround also false. I waited for a new drive to copy the raw footage and waited 6 days to get a new video (12/4-12/10). 4. Refused a phone call ONCE after having a full conversation and finding it unnecessary. Also vendor is difficult to understand over the phone and I am glad I have things in writing. I asked if photo #s were needed for compensation and was told the contract was complete and I would not be getting anything additional.

Robert was awesome to work with. We did an engagement shoot and he immediately made us feel comfortable. The pictures we got were amazing, and we couldn't wait to have him photograph our wedding. He was on time, professional, and efficient. He was able to capture details as well as lots of action, and kept up with the same level of energy and enthusiasm the entire night. We ended up having him stay a little later, and we were able to get some more large group shots of our families and college friends. By the end of the night he felt more like a friend than a vendor. It was great to work with someone who enjoyed our wedding almost as much as we did.

Robert Ortiz Photography is great. Everyone that works with Robert is amazing(including Robert himself!). The staff work off each other to create beautiful memories with their photographs. They are fun and friendly, always ready to please! Good photographers are easy to come by, Robert Ortiz and his team take photography to a higher standard as you can see in his photographs. They can really capture the moment and know how to get those shots that will hang in your home for years to come. Robert was our photographer for our wedding. When asked if we wanted his assistant to join him, we questioned whether it was necessary. We would highly recommend it! We were so pleased with all the additional angles and shots that were produced from having a second photographer it was well worth the extra money! Looking at our photographs now (after 3+ years) it is great to see that we have the photographs that we wanted together with others that tell the story of our beautiful day.

Mr. Ortiz made the treck all the way to NY to photograph my wedding under short notice. He totally got Chris and my personality and captured our goofyness and love so very well. He made sure to get key shots w/ important people and spur of the moment fun shots... All done with an artistic and keen eye. His photos are amazing and helped me to remember small parts of the wedding that sped by and I didn't remember so well... lol I highly recomend his services he is not only a great photographer but he is also an amazingly kind, funny, and laid back man. Robert is a very talented and charismatic photographer! Besides the food, my guests were most impressed by my photographer and his skills. He hopped around in knee deep snow to take the most magical pictures. Robert Ortiz is very friendly and will make anyone, even the shyest person, comfortable in front of the camera. He really has a gift! If you are ever unsatisfied, Robert will do his best to please and fix the situation because he truly cares about his clients. The entire Ortiz family makes you feel like you have known them for years including his wife Sherry who does a great job with videography. Our wedding video plus the amazing coffee table book allow us to relive the day over and over which is priceless. I would recommend Robert Ortiz Photography again and again.
