If there was a zero star option I would use it. This is the outfit my son's college hired to photograph his graduation. 1st: we rec'd a postcard weeks prior to grad stating the deadline to order images was the graduation date. (Highly inconvenient since grad is at 10 a.m., 4 hours from home, we had to pack his apartment contents into vehicles, drive home, unpack and oh, yea spend time enjoying the achievement with friends and family.) Before falling into bed, I went on-line to order the images.....no images available. I called on Monday and was told images won't be ready for weeks. I questioned the deadline vs. the image turnaround time. I was told, that deadline was to get the "special pricing" only. I can still order. It makes no sense to select & order images that I can't see and don't exist yet. Apparently, I was speaking Greek. 2nd: weeks later we discover proof images are now available on-line. The prices are ridiculous! We order the digital download only. Expecting we will receive a link. NO....we paid $ 60 for one image download PLUS $ $ 7 shipping! SHIPPING?? Isn't it a DIGITAL DOWNLOAD?? Weeks later we receive a 9" x 12" envelope containing a PIN and Password printed on 8" x 12" photo paper. REALLY?? This is why I paid $ 7.00? The information could have been printed on a 1/4 sheet of paper, it could have been emailed to me at the time I placed the order! 3rd: We entered the password provided....."FAILED - NO FILE" download! 4th: I called Monday morning.....recorded voice " We are closed today due to the Holiday." Today is July 1st. What Holiday? Do you mean the celebration to Independence DAY? Thursday, July 4th?? The message does not say closed for the week for vacation, simply the day. A quick Google search has enlightened me that today is "Creative Ice Cream Flavor Day" and "International Chicken Wing Day." I suppose worthy occasions for a 24 hour reflection on your favorite treat......The college will be notified of my opinions and experiences with this outfit. OH, and when I did speak to them the Monday after graduation, I asked if they were aware of the poor reviews they were receiving on-line. She said " yes, but that's just school photos...."

terrible customer service on the phone, bought a package including e-download and they said "you have to wait a week to get instructions in the mail on how to download your pic online", I don't understand why can't the pictures be available for download right after you pay?? ridiculous.

Hockmeyer does school photos at my child’s school. I had ordered a specialty background but was unhappy with how it looked. I emailed them and they were very accommodating. Let me return the photos and get my daughter’s photo reprinted on a new background. Great customer service.

Absolutely disgusted with the unprofessionalism this company's photographer displayed with my Daughter today during her middle school photos. The woman told my Daughter she should have worn a dress and when my Daughter spoke up and said that isn't who she is the woman told her all other girls suffered through it and wore dresses. She then proceeded to make comments about my child acne. Are you kidding me?!? Like girls at 12 years old don't have enough issues with body shaming and such from children should they need to hear things like this from an adult who's only job is to snap a photo of them? I am absolutely disgusted that my daughter was shamed like this for being herself.

so very disappointed that school distirct sau18 decided to go with this company. photographer told children to smile big and put hair behind ear even though i wrote in instruction not to. awful . I would not suggest that you have pictures retouched children look like ghost. But biggest complaint is some one from the school district thought it was ok to give a private company my childs name address and age so they could mail the forms home. OH MY GOD. It has been two years now so sad have no good pictures of children and the ones taken are the ones in the yearbook, and the price is outrageous. Retakes not much better photographer still tucked hair. LIFETOUCH is a much better choice never ever had to ask for a retake.

Still have not recieved my son's 8th grade graduation pictures from June and its now August. It has taken days to get vague email responses. I paid shipping fees to find out the pictures are stuck at a post office. Would not recommend them. You are better off just taking your own photos and saving yourself money and a whole lot of frustration.

Horrible experience. College graduation images on 2 alone jet black with black background. Called spoke to Elizabeth Hockmeyer a very disrespectful women. Also called the college and spoke with events director. This is a college of arts and design let there own students take the photos. If I could rate a zero I would. Run fast.

I would have given less stars if I could! Every year we are forced to buy these hideous pictures through school! They don't care, eyes open or shut. Even retakes they don't take 2 seconds to even care and it shows. Never again! Waste of money.

So very disappointed with this company. Not sure why SAU60 decided to switch... but these picture packages are so over priced its sad. For the past 2 year my Daughters pictures have come out so horrible as well as the retakes, this year I wasn't able to get the retakes as she had appointments that same day!! They need to start taking more then 1 picture (maybe 3) which doesn't take much more time. Then families can choose and possible reduce the retakes that happen. I will now be getting her photos done elsewhere do avoid spending all this money for nothing.... FYI photographer need to pay attention to detail... (make sure the younger kids have there pockets tucked in, as they are young and don't pay attention to these things).

Last year I bought a package of photos from school due to the fact that my sons 2nd grade spring pictures came out fantastic with this company. I paid almost $60 for a package and what I got was horrible. My son at the time had no smile and at the horrible timing of the photo he actually looked like he was going to fall asleep, and apparently they only do one shot (Unfortunately they caught my son almost mid blink and thought that’s a great picture absolutely worth $60 to stay in the envelope a year later for no one to ever see.) So this year I was smarter and didn’t purchase a package until after I saw them... So glad I did! Yet again they were horrible! Never again would I give a dime to this company.

Called two weeks ago and re-ordered school photos. Silence - so far. Called again to be told "I just put them in the mail today. Should have it shortly" - telepathic coincidence :-). We wait and hope it gets here before Christmas to wrap it as a gift. Sigh...

Awful!! I spent good money on school photos that I can't do anything with and we did the retake. that's the photo on her classroom pic and I pray her classmates dont bully her for how bad her picture is! I dont think I'll ever allow them to take her picture again, I'd rather keep her home on picture day.

Very disappointed with this company again!! Just received my kids school pictures this is the third time ordering and will be the last!! the pictures are very dark!! Won’t do school pictures from them again!! I could use my phone to take better pictures I figure this time around it would be different but it wasn’t!

Worst photography company!!! They took only 1 picture of my son at his school... (I'm used to 3 shots taken and if you don't like any, you get then redone on retake day) the picture came put awful. Seems like they are not real professionals here. So I wanted my son to have a retake done...plus they misspelled his name on the first one...except their system is so absurd, that they never took his retake picture!!!! I called them and they told me to go to the studio which is an hour and a half away from us (74 miles away= 148 mile round trip) just to get his retake done!!!! My son tell me they were too fast with him...this tells me they are not a good company at all and I would never do business with them again. I'm so disappointed...we just moved here and this is my sons' first year at the school. I wanted nice school pictures! ! Ughhh do not recommend them..hope the school realizes what kind of service they give and never use them again !!!
