I waited awhile to write this review after I reviewed the other vendors because I've been trying to work out some of the problems I had with hiring Corey. Wish I could recommend him. He is friendly, charges about mid range pricing, responsive to questions prior to the event, and does have some great photos on his site. Unfortunately, a few of our photos are great, some photos are good, and some are not good at all - which ends up being very disappointing for the day of your wedding. Overexposed, lots of legs cut off in the photos, no adjustment in real time (like telling my bridesmaid she had her flower bouquet in front of her face - we had no idea until we got the photos back). Our contract specifically stated in addition to a website link there would be a flash drive with pictures. I have contacted him twice and still no flash drive, and no response at all to our concerns. I'm editing all our photos on my computer to adjust them. I would look elsewhere - for the one day of your life, it's not worth being disappointed.

I have had the pleasure of working with Corey on several weddings, and I am always impressed by the way he navigates through the day and the creativity he brings to the table. Today is my 8 year wedding anniversary. I have spent the morning looking through all our beautiful wedding photos. I want to send a heartfelt thank you to the amazing photographer, Corey Garland! He made our entire day so incredible. He captured every part of our special day...start to finish. We are extremely grateful for the day we had and the images that were captured! Corey is very professional and also has a wonderful sense of humor. He also embraces such a creative vision. We have a wonderful blend of traditional and artsy photos. Typically, I don't enjoy having my pictures taken. More often than not, the entire situation makes me uncomfortable and self-conscious. I needed new photos for my website and other publicity formats. As soon I saw Corey's fantastic style, I knew I wanted to work with him. During our session, I felt immediately comfortable with Corey. There were no nerves and his great sense of humor and easy-going presence made it impossible to feel anything but comfortable. The end result was everything I was hoping for--and more. I can't say enough wonderful things about Corey and his talents. I can't see myself ever wanting to work with anyone else.
