I don't think he edited my boudoir pictures at all. I could still see blemishes on my face on all the "final" edits he sent me on the usb and online gallery. I told him specifically during the session I didn't want too see them when he asked me what I was most insecure about. He told me he was 5 weeks out on editing which I said was fine. He didn't get the edits back too me till 8 weeks and they were completely UNEDITED!I I think the only thing he did was make a couple of them black and white. I have to go to a different photographer to get what I asked for. I sent the edits he sent me to Seattle to get re-edited by a photographer there. When he asked me what I was most confident about I said my legs, but yet he didn't take any of my legs. I think he just does the same poses for everyone. There wasn't any diversity from the ones on his website. I am scheduling a boudoir shoot with another photographer

I did my first ever Photoshoot with Dax in February of 2016, and had a great experience. I needed test/starter portfolio pictures for modeling, and had zero experience in the industry. The guy has a GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR and made me feel totally comfortable and confident, as he gave me a crash course on male modeling. I landed a MODELING CONTRACT a couple months later because of the great photos he took! I shot again with Dax is August of 2016, bringing a female model with me. I expected the shoot to last around an hour and a half, but Dax went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we got the shots we needed, staying at least an extra hour with us. Once again he provided comedic relief and created a FUN and RELAXED vibe. He had some very creative ideas which turned into brilliant photos. A very TALENTED, CHARISMATIC, and PROFESSIONAL guy.

We squeezed in a shoot during an extremely hectic time for both Miranda and for Dax, and we drove from Columbus, MT (about 4-1/2 hours), knowing that he is one of the best photographers. He helped with make up and shoot ideas. The first few were fashion shots of Miranda without any makeup, and his lighting expertise made them POP (and they were gorgeous)!! Then, at the end of the shoot, I asked if he minded doing one "pageant" shot with her crown. Dax is a great, accommodating wedding photographer. His seasoned experience is readily apparent through his willingness to work with a couple leading up to the big day, his ability to corral scattered family members for the all-important family photos, as well as through the quality of his final product. Although his sense of humor could be a bit crass at times, it was necessary in light of the high-stress environment of a wedding and kept everyone from sweating the small stuff. He also worked with us beforehand in creating a customized wedding package that was uniquely tailored to our wedding. The final photos took a little longer than expected to receive, but they were well worth the wait and Dax even gave us a canvas print of our favorite photo to make up for the delay. Needless to say, my wife and I would absolutely recommend Dax for your wedding!

Do not hire Dax. He's charming when you first meet him, promising a lot that he doesn't come through with and the end result was not even close to what I had hoped for. I hired him for my wedding. During the wedding day he was with us the entire time, which was fine. But he made a derogatory gay comment to the groomsmen and that is just unacceptable, let alone unprofessional. Other comments were made that the family did not appreciate. The photos we received were: late, two-thirds were at a weird tilt, one-third was too light and washed out, one-third was too dark and the touch ups he promised to make were not done. I will need to spend hours on our photos touching them up on my own just to be okay with them. Oh, and there was only one photo of the two of us looking at the camera and we are sitting down. So there is no beautiful full body dress shot. For what you pay, he's not worth the money.

To say Dax is a great photographer is an understatement. Seriously. Dax did our engagement session and our wedding, and let me just say, I'll cherish these photos everyday, forever. Dax made my husband and I so comfortable. He joked and laughed with us and it made it so our session wasn't super posed and uptight. We had lots of candid adhoc shots and those turned out the best. As for the wedding day, I'm really glad Dax was there for the entire thing. I didn't realize how unprepared I was! I mean from handing me a mountain dew while I was getting my hair done (I was yawning quite a bit) to having bobby pins in every color for me and my bridesmaids. He even had backup hairspray, safety pins you name it! He caught every smile, every tear, every little moment you can think of. By the time the ceremony was over we were headed to take the bride and groom shots - Dax ran in, got some appetizers for us and brought them out to his car because he knew we would be hungry. I mean come on. Who else would have done that for us?! All I'm saying is that he was my right hand man for the craziness of the wedding day, and I couldn't have been more grateful. He updated us through his editing and our pictures were beyond perfect. He had pictures of the ENTIRE family, not just the bridal party which was extremely important to us. Dax even set up a little preview of our photos during the reception so family members could see! We will continue to use Dax for all of our photos from now on, no matter how big or small the milestone. Thank you, Dax!!

He made sure my husband and I's day was extra special and that we were taken care of. He arrived on time and started taking pictures right away. If my bridesmaids or I needed something he was right there to help. He not only took pictures he helped out without even being asked, I got green grass stains on the bottom of my dress while we were out taking pictures before the ceremony. Dax was right there washing the stain right out. My family and friends enjoyed his company as well. He stayed long until the very end of the reception! When the time came for us to get our pictures he wasn't joking when he said we will get every single picture he took. Not only do we get edited pictures we get the unedited ones as well. He is AMAZING!!! I would recommend him to anyone needing photos taken for any occasion!

Not only did Dax take incredible one of a kind photos of my wedding day, but he also coordinated throughout the entire day, making sure things went smoothly and people were where they needed to be.
