We worked with Aaron for our engagement pictures and our wedding, and I can't say enough about how great he was! Aaron did a wonderful job at keeping the day light and fun and captured absolutely beautiful photos. He made sure to get all the specific shots I asked for plus hundreds more. He was easy to contact, easy to work with, and always fun to be around. Aaron was also extremely quick at getting our photos back to us with both the engagement photos and our wedding photos. I would highly recommend Aaron to anyone looking for a photographer whether it be for a wedding or any other special event you want to capture.

Our experience with Aaron was incredible. He was so easy to work with and so kind from the very first phone call to receiving the final pictures. We got engaged and scheduled the wedding date pretty quickly. Since we're getting married about 400 miles from Springfield, MO (where we currently live), I thought engagement pictures would be out of the question - simply no time. I couldn't help but fall in love with the beautiful fall colors in this part of the country, though. So, I got online and desperately looked for photographers in hopes that someone would have time to take at least a few shots of my fiancé and me. I heard back from several that I emailed through their "contact me" pages on their websites, but I was able to reach out to Aaron on the phone. He answered the first time I called and was so incredibly helpful and nice to talk to on the phone. He had time available (although I think he MADE time available for us, which I am ever so thankful for) so we planned to meet at a state park for photos just a few short days later. While I take a million pictures throughout the year, I'm rarely *in* the photos. So, I was a bit nervous about getting some good pictures of the two of us. And on top of that, I wanted to throw my three Labrador Retrievers into the mix. They're our family. They HAD TO BE IN THE PHOTOS! Aaron just said bring 'em on! He never hesitated at any of my requests. We met Aaron at the park and it instantly felt like we were among friends. He made us feel very comfortable with his laid back demeanor and his silly jokes. He was fantastic with my dogs, too. Working with pets takes patience. Actually, working with me takes a lot of patience now that I think about it! Aaron was along for the ride and he had lots of creative ideas for photos. My fiancé and I both really enjoyed getting to know him. We walked through the woods and talked like friends while he found the perfect settings for our engagement photos. We actually ended up having a lot in common with Aaron and his wife. I will definitely have Aaron take photos for us again. I do have my horses that I didn't have the opportunity to bring to the engagement shoot (although Aaron was up for that as well). I will most definitely be calling him again to take some photos of my horses and me....maybe in my wedding dress after the wedding?? That sounds amazing!!! :) Get ready, Aaron!! Again, I cannot say enough good things about Aaron Clark Photography. You have been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The photos are more than I could have dreamed of. Thank you for all you did for us.

Nothing but a 5 star recommendation from our family. Initially we were impressed by his response time to our inquiry. Then after meeting him he made us all feel comfortable in front of his camera, cracked jokes however was very professional at the same time. We left feeling like we had know him forever. He got our proofs back in a reasonable time. However they were very much worth the wait. Our photos are fabulous and he even made us look good in the Midwest July heat. We will treasure these photos forever.

We recently had our engagement photos taken outdoors during a muggy late June evening. I went through a whole set of blotting sheets. However, Aaron made the experience very laid back with his jokes and made the evening a fun one. He quickly got our pictures back to us for our review. He did a fantastic job editing the sweat - you can't even tell we were drenched! They are very sweet pictures. The lighting is beyond perfect. He has a creative eye, talent for knowing the mechanics behind the lens and has mad editing skills. Truly impressed. I'm so glad I picked him as our photographer! We are looking forward to his magic again for our wedding in September! Update after wedding: Aaron is by far one of the best photographers I've ever met. Photography for my wedding was a top priority. Having a destination photographer made me nervous, but he put me at ease. He took the time to visit about my desires and then followed through. He knows the area well and had great suggestions for a smooth timeline. He has an engaging personality that makes you and your guests comfortable creating natural shots instead of stiffly posed. I'm seriously obsessed with the outcome of my photos from my engagement to wedding. They provoke so much energy and emotion from my perfect day. So if you are looking at his page and reading this recommendation, have you called him yet? Because you should. Like, right now.

Aaron photographed our wedding at Big Cedar Lodge which is 4 hours away from where we live in St. Louis. Being an out of town wedding I was anxious about not meeting our photographer until the day of, however Aaron immediately calmed my nerves the first time we spoke. He was beyond helpful with answering all of my, almost daily, questions but more importantly he was so friendly, upbeat & genuine which put me at ease. We planned on having a firework display after Aaron was scheduled to leave so he spoke with our photographer friend who was in the wedding on the best ways to shoot fireworks since he couldn't be there which was above & beyond what he expected from him. When we arrived to the chapel he was the first one I saw, snapping away photos of me & the bridesmaids as we exited the limo. He had already met with the guys for some casual shots before, set up inside the chapel & was on his way over to the bridal suite to take pictures of the ladies. Not having to worry about where & when our photographer was going to be somewhere such as our entrance into the reception or the first dance, rather just having him show up as needed made the day that much less stressful for me as a bride. What we, including our wedding party, loved most was how easy going & FUN Aaron was. He was up for any of our ideas & had some great ones of his own; not to mention the banter he had with the groomsmen was entertaining in itself. Most importantly we couldn't have been happier with how the pictures turned out from the chapel to the wedding party to the Bride & Groom pictures at sunset over the lake; he captured our day perfectly. He took our picture holding a Thank You sign which was included on the front of our thank yous & we've received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the picture was. It was such a nice photo to be able to share with our guests after the day was over. If you are looking for a photographer to snap photos of your big day we HIGHLY recommend Aaron!
