We worked with Studio 220 for both our engagement photos and wedding photos within the past year. We had a great experience. Our photographer, Andrew, was great to work with and "got" us which made the process so easy. We love all the photos that we received, and I especially loved having two photographers on the wedding day as part of the package because you got different angles of things and captured more photos of the day. Dana at the studio was so awesome to work with, and was so positive and fun! I would definitely recommend Studio 220 and Andrew for wedding photography.

My husband and I could not have found a better photography company to book with! From the first consultation, to our engagement session, to our wedding day and everything in between...Studio 220 Photography was there to help in any way possible! The entire process was so easy and the people working here are some of the best! Jen M. was our photographer for both our engagement session and the lead for our wedding day--she's one of the most down to earth, lovable and respectable people we've ever met! She kept in contact with us throughout the entire process, she helped create a timeline, she periodically checked in to see how things were going with planning, and was always quick to respond to any emails or phone calls. When we first met Jen for our engagement session, we weren't sure what to expect; but from the moment we met her, it felt like we had known her forever! After our engagement session, we knew before we even saw the photos, that we had made the right decision in choosing this company and selecting her as our photographer! Once we saw the photos...we were even more satisfied! On the day of our wedding, she and her assistant Sarah K. showed up early and began working immediately! They had ideas, they had suggestions, they were encouraging and made the day even more memorable than it already was--everyone had so much fun working with the two of them, especially my husband and I! We received so many compliments from friends and family about our photographers, saying how professional they were, how they were everywhere covering everything from the moment they arrived to the time they left, and they made sure that all photos we requested were captured and that everyone was happy before departing for the evening. We absolutely cannot wait to see their work! Thank you Jen and Sarah! And thank you Studio 220, for everything!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never experienced such an experience before, and I definitely don’t mean a positive one. My fiancé and I booked Studio 220 months ago. We booked them off of a recommendation. We really liked the fact that we would have one vendor for photography and photo booth. Kill two birds with one stone. When you book, you’re asked lots of questions. One of those questions is asked about the location of your venue. We received our contracts for the photography and was booked with Liam. We were told that our photo booth contract was being written up. About 2-3 months ago I still had not received it and checked in with the company. That’s when they informed me that they don’t travel that far with the booth. I was frustrated of course and asked why they would tell me they are writing a contract when I could have been booking another company for the booth. They said that they would make an “exception” and travel with the booth, but that was a joke. The travel fees were about the same price as the actual booth. So we passed on the booth. At this point I’m frustrated and want to find another photographer, but also didn’t want to break contract. I decided to keep them (my mistake). You are supposed to hear from your photographer around 6 weeks before the wedding. Didn’t happen, go figure. I received a call from Dana who told me that my photographer was double booked and therefore I did not have a photographer, 5 weeks until my wedding. She offered a photographer from a different company who we had zero knowledge. I had zero trust for them, how would I know this person would show. Good luck trying to find a photographer 5 weeks until your wedding. We declined their photographer and decided to look for someone new. I am at 3 weeks to go and am really feeling the stress. We are having our videographer become our photographer for now unless we find someone new. I would never recommend this company. Most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with.

Been going to their guys for over 4 years. Love the time they take capturing our family as we really are. I love that they take the approach of observing vs staging, really captures the dynamic of our family. We’ve gone to a few other places before, while they were good, they weren’t great and we always seemed staged. Will keep using these guys for all our family photos.

Studio 220 is seriously amazing! We had them do our engagement and wedding photos. We couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. Our photographers went above and beyond--collecting info on the photos that we wanted (before the day), showing up early so that they'd be all ready to start shooting on time, and making us feel so comfortable throughout the day. We aren't naturally posey people and don't usually photograph too well but I'm in love with our pictures. They had a super fast turnaround too! I can't say enough good things about them, especially for the price, which is very reasonable compared to others in the area.

My family and I have used on three occasions for photo sessions that we have done. Each of the family photo sessions provided us so many wonderful photos that it was difficult to decide which ones to display. I also used them for some professional head shots for my business as well helping me present a clean and polished image for my business. All the photographers that we worked with have been an absolute pleasure creating a fun yet professional environment.

I wrote a review for Studio 220 (based on our experience of our wedding photography) and apparently it was removed in order to increase their average star rating. I do not recommend this company. I will never have the requested photos (picture of my husband's face during the first look, a silhouette of my dance with my father, and a picture of my husband when I walked down the aisle) despite having two professional photographers. Heartbroken over the pictures taken... I expected so much more.

Studio 220 was the first wedding photography studio that came to mind when my (now) husband proposed. The studio is clear on their products, packages and pricing. We had an outline for the photos that we needed/wanted and our photographer Bree was very accommodating in what we envisioned for the day. Even for last minute details and changes, Bree was very professional. Kudos to Bree for getting great shots of very tall people (I'm 5'10" and my husband 6'5"). The 2-3 week wait for the digital images is well worth it, as you have the rights to them and can download them ANYWHERE. As a photographer myself, I highly recommend this studio.

Joan was our photographer and we were head over heels from the beginning, as we had to reschedule our engagement pictures due to a family emergency. The first time we met face to face, she immediately asked for an update on that family member before we even began to speak about photos. Her care about your desires as a couple, and your lives individually and together, shows in her photography but also in the relationship we formed over the months we worked together. The day of the wedding, she was accompanied by Kathleen and Andrew and we got rave reviews from all family members and wedding party members on their organization and personalities. Our images showed up less than three weeks after our wedding and we were FLOORED! Studio 220 was our first stop for photography and we'll sing their praises to anyone who asks about our experience.

We found Studio 220 for our wedding while looking for vendors through The Knot. My wife and I were looking for an affordable wedding photographer, but we also wanted someone with past wedding experience and a photo style that both liked. We were thrilled with our experience with our photographer, Bree! We took advantage of the free 1 hour engagement photoshoot so we could get to know her prior to the wedding day. Having the engagement photoshoot really helped us become comfortable and excited to work with her on our wedding day! Everything went smoothly and we got our final photos less than a month later. They also provided so many photos so that we now have more favorites than we know what to do with. We would highly recommend Studio 220 for the value and quality of their wedding packages. We are biased, but of course we would say to request Bree if she is available!

Emily and Amy R. did a fabulous job at our wedding! They kept was cool and calm, and captured everything we asked for - and more! Only downfall is the price...fairly expensive. Would've loved to have them for the entire day but it was out of our price range. But that's no fault of Amy and Emily's - just the price range of the studio in general. Would definitely recommend!

I was absolutely devastated when I got my photos back from our wedding. Our photographer had done a horrible job adding variety to the poses and getting us all to look "natural" and have fun instead of stuffy. We also couldn't use any (not over exaggerating) of the family photos that they took because the placement of family members was so awkward and the photos just looked so rushed and unatural. I burst into tears after looking through them because we had paid so much money and very few photos turned out (we are talking less than 8 of the 500+ that they took prior to reception). I dont recommend this studio and especially do not recommend working with Lynsey.

We did our engagement and wedding pictures with Studio 220 and they were amazing! Tamika did a fantastic job with our engagement pictures - we suggested taking them at the Stone Arch bridge and then we went to many other nearby places that Tamika knew in just our short 1-hour session - she helped us become more comfortable in front of the camera and found some amazing backdrops. Tamika and Sarah did our wedding and we are in love with the pictures! They were so awesome to work with and made us, our family and wedding party so comfortable. They also had some fun ideas the group photos that turned out so cute :) I would strongly recommend Studio 220!!!

Studio 220 did our family photo session as well as head shots! They were super impressive with how quickly the shoot went! We had 2 outfit changes with 3 different locations in an hour and a half AND I have 3 boys, so you can imagine what a miracle that timing is! I loved how flexible the photographer was when my 7 year old pitched a fit! She just moved on to photograph the other 2! Our images are THE BEST we’ve ever had! She caught the most beautiful un-posed moments! It’s the REAL us-just prettier! We won’t use anyone else! Studio 220 did a fabulous job! I can’t wait to do our sitting where she’ll even help us figure out where in our house to put the photos along with size! I would never have time to figure that out on my own!

The fact that we had our wedding 4 hours away from the Twin Cities which should have added a little bit more of a challenge from a planning standpoint, did no such thing.
