Why choose Matilde? She is fast. She has experience with many foreign passport photo standards that differ from US passport photo standards. Her prices are excellent for the quality of service and product she provides. So, yeah, you could get your passport photos from some big corporation. But, if you go with Matilde, you get great service, excellent product and a chance to support a local business.

Excellent. No one else in Boston is as comprehensive and knowledgeable about ID photos. The German consulate pointed a friend to Matilde and I took his cue in going there, though not before attempting to DIY it and thereby cost myself a bunch of money and weeks long delay in my application. Matilde knows the difference between the confusion array of photograph formats and sizes that correspond to different country's passport, visa, and citizenship photo requirements. Canada for example, has different size requirements for all three document ID photos. Matilde knew all of this without me having to provide the dimensions or the document explaining this. I made the mistake of trying to use CVS "passport" photos for my Canadian Citizenship Certificate application. The application was sent back to me for not meeting the very specific photo requirements detailed on the application. The photos that Matilde shot and presented me with went through without issue. I only wish I'd gone to her first and saved myself the trouble, delay, expense, and hassle of having to resubmit the application twice. The walls of her small studio are covered with the dizzying array of different country specific photos she is capable of producing. I am going back to her for my Canadian passport photos and have no doubt I'll be in and out in short order. Far, far better than the counter idiots at CVS and well worth the cost. Just make sure you call ahead and confirm a time or you may find a locked door. Apparently it's Matilde or nothing as she is the sole proprietor and lone employee. Still, I'm not going anywhere else in future.

She is phenomenal!! Less words and quality work. She knows her work.. Do not call, else you will have a different impression(she is extremely busy). Visit her website and it says all. We went for passport photograph for Canada PR and she knew it all. We called so many photographers, CVS, Costco, wall greens, Fedex and none of them were ready for passport pictures for Canada PR and finally we found Matilde's, her prices are fair enough for her work.

Not the easiest to reach, on the 7th floor behind a locked door, right next to the CVS entrance (which also does passport photos for a few bucks less). But she's local, and a small business, and she does photos for a bunch of different countries, not just US passport photos.

I really liked the statement on her workstation which said "I am the Boss" Professional photographer who knows specification of any biometric photo you need. Highly recommended by consulate. She also has a catalog of photo specifications of all the biometric countries. Regarding the service She offered an Ontime affordable service. All the prices are clearly mentioned on a board in her workplace Most biometric photos with prints range between 20-30$ She even provides digital files for upload and you can get 2 additional copies for 7$ She is courteous, helpful and knows what she is doing. In some of the reviews it was mentioned that she gets angry. I would like to say that she loves her work and owns her work with confidence and that might look like an angry gesture She also has dried ink stamp required for biometric photos She uses high quality paper I will update the review after hearing back from the consulate.
