Kate has photographed my son as a newborn and just recently shot his 6month pictures. Start to finish each experience has been amazing! , Kate is unbelievably talented, genuine, personable and very accommodating. Her patience is an art. She was able to get all the poses I requested, even with a newborn who at the time would hardly sleep and a 6month old who was ready for a nap. She is full of great ideas but also gives you the freedom to create your own. For my sons newborn session we went to her beautiful studio in Medford. It is extremely clean and had all the bells and whistles. For his 6month session we met at a park in my town. She brought numerous blankets and props to create the cutest fall pictures! Kate has captured so many of my sons millisecond smiles, in-between some of his tired whines. I've been nothing but impressed and beyond happy with the pictures! If you have not chosen a photographer for your family you MUST book Kate!! I promise you, she will be the one and only for your family for years to come!

I, myself, have yet to be able to get a good photo of him because he is so active. She really is a miracle worker. I recently had a lumberjack themed birthday party and was hoping to have a cake smash with the same theme. I was impressed that she even had props for that very same theme and had a baker that she worked with who could mimic the cake we had..how perfect! The photo shoot went so smoothly and you never felt rushed. She even offers a viewing session after the photo shoot to go over each picture and the packages she offers. We will definitely be using her again in the future.

I have been going to Kate since my daughter was 6 months old (she now 3). The first photo session she did was absolutely beautiful and everything I wanted. Its hard to find someone that can produce exactly what your looking for. I try to do at least one photo session a year with Kate. She always makes sure you receive the best quality photos. One time she directly send me photos from her third printing company because I needed them for my daughters birthday party in short notice. Although they printed darker than I expected I contacted her to let her know about it and she fixed the issue right away. She sent out new ones and apologized for it. She even gave a few extras for the inconvenience. She is dedicated to her work and wont disappoint. I'm so happy she moved her studio closer to my area.

Katie has done both my children's newborn photos as well as a sibling session when my son was 1 and daughter was 3. she is hands down amazing . she can capture the perfect moments, the most adorable smiles , a quick hug and a kiss, a fleeting glance, and turn them into magic. my kids feel completely at ease with her , and she can make even the fussiest babies sleep (trust me I know from experience!). She has all the props , headbands , toys, etc in location, has a changing table and wipes ready to go, and even has a bubble machine for the toddlers and a shushing machine for the newborns. We have had many photo sessions with my son since he was born and this was the only one he truly enjoyed. We have never been able to get him to cooperate and smile for photos. At the time, my son was 6 and my daughter was 8. My son is the ham, sometimes bordering on obnoxious, and my daughter is the loving, protective sister. I am so picky when it comes to photographers, probably has to do with my design background. When I stumbled upon Crabapple photography I had an instant draw to the work. I wanted her to do our newborn shoot for sure!! I contacted Kate and she got back to be so quickly. As a self-described "photography geek", I at first had a hard time hiring somebody else to take pictures of our newborn. Why would I pay for pictures when I have so much experience and high end camera equipment of my own? I'm humbled but happy to say that I'm thrilled I let my wife talk me into this one. I soon realized that good equipment and the know-how to use it are really only a small portion of of what goes into a shoot like this. Right from the get-go, Kate was communicating with my wife via email to get a sense of what kinds of shots we were looking for. She has a dedicated studio, set to a comfy 80 degrees, full of every type of basket, backdrop, carpet, pillow, swaddle, headband and outfit you could possibly imagine.
